A felt a tear roll down my cheek, and I wiped it away. "I hope so," I mumbled.

Margit

I wandered around the school, just exploring. I hadn't really gotten the chance to look around since I got here.

Damon

Agreed, I thought to myself.

Alexei

I walked down the hallways of the dhampir dorms, and eventually came across one that said "Baker". I grinned widely and knocked on the door.
After a moment, Jaimie opened it up. "Who's - ... Alexei?"
I just nodded.
She slowly smiled and threw her arms around me. "I haven't seen you in ages!"
"Well, if you would've went on vacation more often..." I laughed.
Jaimie let go of me. "So how's your parents?"
I looked down at the ground. "Dad left."
She frowned. "Oh, that's terrible... I'm sorry, Alexei."
"Don't be. Things are better. What about you?"
She smiled weakly. "Same old, same old."
I decided not to comment on this; I knew how things used to be between her and her mum. Apparently they hadn't improved. "Wanna go for a walk?"
"Sure," she answered, gesturing to her room. I shoved my things into it before shutting the door and starting to walk with her.

I sighed. "I think I might lie down," I told him. "Maybe I can sleep this sadness off."

Margit

I looked around in awe - crap, this place was huge! Way bigger than home, maybe even bigger than the winery. And that place was big.

Damon

I frowne; I was starting to worry about her. "Alright." I kissed her gently on her lips this time. "Sleep good.

Jaimie

We walked in silence for a while, neither of us saying anything. I didn't know what Alexei thought, but man... he'd turned out kind of hot... Not that I was actually going to do anything, since I liked Jimmy and all. But he had, and that accent was not helping my cause. I had the urge to slap myself for these thoughts, but resisted. You shouldn't be thinking this shit, Jaimie. I was actually really relieved when we came across Margit.
"Hey, Margit, this is my friend, Alexei," I told her.

Rosetta

I smiled a bit. "I'll try to," I replied, and headed towards my room.

Margit

I waved at Jaimie, and then waved at the Alexei guy. "Nice to meet you."

ooc: Erik should accidently run into Rosetta...

I felt my eyes widen as I stood there in shock. Was I really that much of an idiot? "Like you actually care," I replied icily and walked off to what had to be the Moroi dorms.

Trent
"Does that mean you'll go on a date with me?" I asked with a grin.

Zaiden

I grimaced after her, but decided she needed to cool off before I told her that I did care. Of course, I wouldn't tell her that I definitely cared more than I should.

Adrienne

I smirked at him, pretending to look thoughtful. "Depends. What kind of date? Y'know, dinner and a movie, a party, or just a cozy, little 'let's-talk' date?" Most girls probably liked the talking option, but I didn't, really. People just aren't ever who you want them to be. Guess it was time to see if he was a good guesser.

Erik

After a quick shower, I ran into Rosetta, smiling slightly at her. "Hey, Rosetta."

Alexei

"You too," I replied, blinking. She had amazing eyes. They were brown, but they were... I didn't know, but there was something just unique about them. About her.

Elysia
Eventually I found my room and shut the door behind me. I curled up into a ball on my bed and cried. I'd been here less than a day and I'd already been kidnapped by Strigoi, bitten multiple times, lost my sister, and had some guy try to take advantage of me. It was probably some bet he had with Zaiden to prove how gullible I was. I just wanted to feel safe.

Trent
"Oh, a party, of course." She seemed like the kind of person who would agree that talking was almost never fun.

[Callie]

OOC: Aww, poor Elysia.

Adrienne

I grinned widely. "You are a good judge of character. Know of any good parties coming up soon, then?"

[Ashley (;]

Trent
I thought for a moment, "No, but that means we can start one."

[Callie]

Adrienne

I grinned mischieviously. "Now that sounds fun. Are you gonna come shopping with me to get what we'll need, then?"

Trent
"Depends. What're we buying?"

[Callie]

Adrienne

"Anything and everything we need. Huge stereo, maybe, some drugs, booze. Hey, maybe we'll even hire a real band."

Elysia
Eventually I stopped crying and decided I should get changed. I picked out a dark violet top and some dark sequined jeans. There wasn't really anything to do here but I wandered out of my room anyways. Maybe I'd meet another Moroi who I could be friends with... Somebody who didn't hate my guts.

Trent
"Count me in then," I grinned slyly.

Adrienne

I grinned back and started for the entrance. "Well, let's get going, then."

[Ashley (;]

Trent
"Where to?" I asked as I followed her.

Elysia
I walked downstairs and to the school part passing Trent and Adrienne Ivashkov. I knew her vaguely from Royal events though we never actually talked, really.

[Callie]

Adrienne

"Wal-Mart, the god of miscellaneous shit," I replied, waving a bit at Elysia as she passed us.

[Ashley (;]

Elysia
I waved back and kept walking, deciding to find something to do.

Trent
"All hail the god of miscellaneous shit. Though I wasn't aware they sold drugs, as of yet."

Erik's sudden appearance gave me a shock, and I dropped my book in surprise. Then I realized he'd be able to read the title, so I scrambled to pick it up again.

Margit

I smiled. I liked this Alexei guy; his accent made me want to swoon. What accent was it anyway? British? American? I knew it wasn't any of those, but I couldn't quite lay my finger on it...

[Callie]

Adrienne

"They don't, so we'll have to make another stop first," I said when we left the school, turning left and going down an alley. When we saw who I needed, I waved at him.
"Hey, Dean. Glad you decided to come along," I commented. "Can we take a look at your stuff?"
"Figured the Montana kids might get fed up of school." he grinned. "Sure, but who's the guy? New toy?"
"Whatever floats your boat," I replied, opening up a bag and looking inside. Pot.
"When's my turn?" he asked flirtatiously.
I rolled my eyes. "Never. I pay you for drugs. Isn't it plenty that you get to see my lovely face weekly?"
"Not really."
"Well, I'm sorry."

Jaimie

"So..." I smiled slowly. "I'll leave you two alone. Classes to go to and all that," I said, walking off.

Alexei

I blinked when Jaimie walked off. Well, that worked, I guess. "Have you been here long, then, Margit?"

Erik

I looked down at the book, reading the title before she could pick it up. "A baby, huh?" I asked, arching an eyebrow. Interesting...

I watched the two's encounter and tried not to laugh.

I kept walking until I saw two Moroi talking, but I stayed around the corner so I wouldn't interrupt their conversation.

I stared at my feet and nodded. Great, now he knew...

Margit

"I only arrived here today," I told him. "What about you?"

[Callie]

Alexei

"Same here. I'm in a new country, actually. It's... a lot cooler here than it is back home," I told her with a smile.

Adrienne

I bought a few of the drugs, including some pot and heroin, then handed Dean the money.
He took it and pointed to his cheek.
I shook my head and smirked. "Knock it off or I'll have to make out with my 'new toy' in front of you," I teased before turning around and walking out of the alley, grabbing Trent's hand as I did.

Erik

"ivashkov's?" I guessed. "Not that it's any surprise; everyone knows you've been screwing each other for ages," I said nonchalantly.

[Louise]

Margit

"Where are you from?" I asked. "I'm a forgeiner too, but I don't feel any difference in temperature."

Rosetta

I nodded again. Damon and I 'screwing each other for ages'? Hell, I knew that wasn't true - although I wouldn't have minded much if it was.

Elysia
I frowned when I decided the two wouldn't appreciate my eavesdropping and went back outside.

Trent
"Not that I'd mind," I added with a smirk.

[Callie]

Alexei

"Australia," I answered with a nod. "Where're you from, then?"

Erik

"That sucks. Last I heard, he's not too great with kids," I lied. I had no idea how Ivashkov was with kids, but if it could get them to fight or something, I was all for it.

Adrienne

"Of course you wouldn't." I laughed and grinned at him. "It'd bother Dean, though."

I walked along the pathway that led to the gate. Maybe somebody there knew where Cadenc was.

Trey
I grinned, "I don't care about what Dean thinks."

[Callie]

Adrienne

"I don't either, but he's fun to screw with," I said with a smirk as we reached Wal-Mart. Then I frowned, looking at the drugs in the bags I was holding. "Where..." Eventually, I settled for disguising them in four Wal-Mart bags and putting them in a shopping cart. "We need another person," I said, frowning. "If we take this in with us, they'll try and check it out."

Margit

Aha! That explains the accent. "I'm from France."

Rosetta

I shrugged. "I'll believe whether he's good with kids or not when I see it," I replied.

[Callie]

Alexei

"That's pretty far away," I remarked.

Erik

I shrugged. "Suit yourself. Just remember - I warned you." Then I walked off, wondering what I should do now. Well, other than tell everyone that Rosetta was pregnant with Ivashkov's kid. I'd do that later.
