Slenmo City is a metropolis, it harbors over a million inhabitants and a quarter of them are rather special individuals. The quarter of individuals previously mentioned, possess abnormal or unique characteristics which makes them 'Supernatural' beings. While the other half of the population, your average humans, remain oblivious to the pending danger of the Orlydiaryn or in its more human language 'Guild of Rogue Blood'. A cocktail of the special individuals that don't quite agree with their anonymous position, believing that supernatural beings deserve to be in charge. Luckily for the metropolis, a group by the name of 'The council of Gable Van Hirelings' keeps things in functioning order. The two have been in an underground war for the past few decades, over the years things have only became more complicated with the the rise in criminal behavior from the Drows and an increased number of rogue Vampires.
In the Undercity Nalayne has been scheming, and has set up a plan to seduce Cas to prevent his father attempting to take control of the Undercity through a prospective marriage. Meanwhile in the city. Kriszti was attacked by a vampire and saved by Phoenix who has since filled her and her 'aunt' in on the supernaturals of this world although Dysisa already knew about some supernaturals, whilst he training Dysisa to use her powers. In return Dysisa is assisting Phoenix with his female disguise. The planning for Alessa's birthday party is in full swing, although the surprise gift she received from her real father has left her with questions. After almost being attacked for a second time by a vampire following a car accident Kriszti met Kurou briefly as he saved her life. Lets just hope it's not 3rd time lucky for the rogue vamps. Dysisa is beginning to wonder the supernaturals are out for her niece and do they know the secret behind her family tree or will they be after Dysisa next?

Race Infromation, Locations.
Races
Psychics
*Psychics are extremely rare humans. They are born from the joining of a Dhampir and a magical human. However, any children that they themselves have are classed as pure human as they have no powers, unless there is a further supernatural link. In these cases the child is considered as a half breed of the other race, as they do not acquire any of their psychic parents powers.
*They all have the power of telepathy and telekinesis to some extent, although the strength of these abilities can be determined by the age of their vampiric grandfather.
*Some also have the added benefit of further powers which is dependent upon their grandparents. They may acquire an element of their vampiric grandfather’s power. However, they may also acquire a degree of control over one of the four natural elements from their elven grandparents. This element is dependent upon the season in which their elven grandparent was born.
*Physically psychics have no advantages, as their powers are all based within the mind.
*Psychics age at the same rate as normal human’s, however, their life expectancy is greater, as their average life expectancy is 100 years, whilst the current average life expectancy is 67 for humans. The eldest known psychic lived to the age of 149.
*Psychics like other humans can be turned into vampire’s, however, the change has a more severe effect on their bodies, as they rise with the equivalent mental power of an elder, although their physical power begins at the same stage as a normal newborn. As a result of this extra stress during the change, only 1 in 1000 psychics successfully manage to undergo the change. The others bodies literally become consumed by the change.
Magical Human
*Magical humans are fairly rare creatures. They are the offspring of an elf/drow and a human.
*Fifty percent of successful pregnacies do not survive to adulthood.
*These humans age at the same rate as a human, until their late teens, then this decelerates considerably.
The oldest known Magical Human reached the age of 327
*Magical Humans power comes directly from their Elven parent. Therefore, their elemental power is the same as their parent regardless of the season in which they themselves were born.
Drow
*They age at the same rate as elves, however there is no known Drow who has reached a thousand years of age. This is due to their societies infrastructure, if somebody needs to get ahead the easiest way is murdering them.
*Drows are usually black in skin color, however they can be lighter depending on where they were born. Their skin color is black due to the radiation from glow cap mushrooms, their original skin color is actually white although close to translucent due to the lack of light.
*A Drow's size is slightly smaller then their surface cousins, this is probably also due to the lack of sunlight. Females reach an average of 5'6 while males reach an average of 6'0, physical stature is dependent upon social standing and food consumption.
*Drows live within the Undercity
*The entire society is run as a matriarchy, there is one high priestess of Vierriia to each house. There is a total of 13 houses in all, the first house being the most powerful house amongst Drow society. The only way houses can become more powerful, is by raiding and slaughtering each other.
*Children in the Drow society are treated rather poorly, most of the time they are neglected or orphaned at a young age.
*However education is quite important to the society, all children are required by law to have a form of education. The poor children have little opportunities to advance. Whilst noble children tend to have more choices, such as wizardry and assassinry and if a child is female they have the opportunity to become an apprentice to a Vierriia priestess.
*Highly superstitious, if a first time mother gives birth to a male son that child is killed or abandoned. It is believed that he will only bring more male children into the family, which would mean dishonor on the family.
*If a male is born with a twin sister then he is not abandoned or killed, instead he is seen as a blessing from the goddess, as it is considered that he is born to be his twins protector for life. As a result these boys are often castrated in infancy to ensure they remain devoted to their sisters and do not feel the urge to abandon them in adulthood.
Psychology
Drow are taught from an early age to trust no one, even their own kin is untrustworthy and will eventually betray them. 80% of the Drow population suffers a form of Post traumatic stress disorder, the other 10% probably are best deemed insane. Most drow harbor a hatred of all other races, especially surface races but hate most of all the humans and the surface elves (not including Cyredeplith Elves). Drows enjoy surrounding themselves with things of beauty, and often partake in the most pleasurable of activities. Even Drow who escape the cruelties of the Undercity find it more difficult to form long-term friendships than most races do.
Goddess Vierriia
The goddess is the staple that keeps the whole society from going into compete madness (not like it is already), only females may become priestesses to her. Tribute is paid to her every night for a couple of hours, all Drows are obligated to attend ceremonies. Disobedience to Vierriia results in public humiliation, an example of this is painful public toture. The Drow's elven cousins, believe that she is at fault for corrupting them into the people they are today. While this could be right, some people question if Vierriia wasn't a demon who tricked the Drows.
Vierriia is responsible for fear, chaos, thieves, darkness, & vanity.
Elf
*Known for their height and high metabolism, most of them look like runway models. It isn't uncommon for females to reach 5'8, their male counterparts 6'4 on average. By human standards they are usually considered 'underweight', this is because most elves cannot gain weight.
*They are commonly noted for their ability to wield the four elements of nature. However, they element which they can wield is determined by the season in which they were born. Spring is wind, Summer is fire, Autumn is earth, & Winter is water.
*Elves have an natural ability with a bow, it doesn't take long for an elf to learn how to use and subsequently master archery. This is regardless of whether or not they are self-taught. However, they rarely rely on this primitive form of weaponry in the modern age.
*While they could be considered formidable opponents, they are lightweights, should someone deliver a serious physical blow to them. It can cause severe damage including unconsciousness, and fatalities.
*Elves do not tend to suffer from illnesses, and only poisons infused with magic can have an impact upon them. This means that they are also immune to the effects of human drugs and alcohol.
*Elves tend to be technologically advanced when compared to the rest of the world. This is mostly because their technological devices tend to hold magical properties. They are well known for their cloaking devices which help them to blend in with humans. This is usually disguised as a simple ring.
Elven Aging
Elves grow at the same rate as humans until they reach the age of twenty-one. At this point their aging rate decelerates rapidly, and they appear to maintain this physical form until around a thousand years of age. When they finally reach one thousand years, it seems that time begins to catch up with them and they begin to age at the same rate as a human.
Elven Deities
Kerine: The goddess of song, fertility, children, spring, & wind
Uthethal: The god of magic, war, warriors, summer, & fire
Aeron: The god of order, gold, death, autumn, & earth
Sumila: The goddess of love, beauty, marriage, winter, & water
The gods and goddesses work in harmony together, each one being worshiped by those born to them during their season. This worship usually consists of tributes, in the form of hymns, or the lighting of a candle. Occasionally a sacrifice will be offered to the gods and goddesses if an elf feels the need to be forgiven for a deed which they have carried out, however, this sacrifice is always tailored to suit the god or goddess that it is being offered too. However one goddess not mentioned, is the goddess Vierriia. Elves believe that worship of such a dark and sinister goddess, has resulted in the Drow curse.
Kingdoms
The Kingdom of Heasirretyn is also known by its English name, those above the heavens. The kingdom is a castle which floats in the sky, and is a closely guarded sanctuary. The only way in which access can be granted to the castle is through the summoning of a magical elven portal. The castle has a barrier which makes it completely untraceable, and creates a ward against all flying objects which relocates them automatically to the other side of the castle. Nothing about its government is known, mostly due to the fact elves from there rarely come down.
The Kingdom of Maernettln is ruled in a similar fashion as modern day England, there is a monarchy which acts as a figure head, however, the monarchy holds no constitutional power. Instead the kingdom is ruled by a parliament, which make all major decisions for the citizens. The Kingdom is located within a different realm to assist in the continued growth of the kingdom. However, access to the realm is found within the city. A select few members of the parliament have formed a committee to work with the GVH. Otherwise elves usually have little to do with humans.
Aleanddare City is a city ahead of our time by at least a good fifty years, most of the city runs by a magical essence. The city's location is in an alternative universe. The city is governed by a collection of merchants, they only look out for the best deals for themselves and their costumers. They come to Slenmo mostly to sell their merchandise, rarely any of them desire to live in the realm.
The Cyredeplith Empire is a hostile and completely dysfunctional elven kingdom, as a result their society is the closest to drow society. They are the only elven race which has allied with the Drows. Their society suffers from poverty due to neglect and misappropriation of funds to the militia and its dictator. The citizens fear overthrowing the current rule, as there are no options available for a better ruler. Most of the citizens have no idea about humans, as they live on a small undetectable island in the Bermuda triangle.
Shapeshifter
*Primarily a Shapeshifter is the child of a Female
*Dhampir and a Male Vampire, the birthrate of one of them is limited only by the bloodline of the Vampire and Dhampir. However, it is rare that a Shapeshifter lives long.
The Moon phases do not effect the control over their shape, however it effects their emotions and stability.
*Shapeshifters have unlimited animal forms they can turn into, however they have one main animal they draw their powers and characteristics from. Usually they have a half transformation form, some of them are born in this form and cannot get out of it. Usually their tail and ears are shown, it also increases their senses ten folds.
*There is a higher chance in multiple births from shapeshifters, it isn't considered unusual to have sextuplets or a higher amount.
*Instinctively Shapeshifters do not enjoy humans, its rare for them to be friends with a human. The phenomena is still unknown, most the time they live with supernatural creatures such as Vampires, Elves, or Drows. There is a record of a human and Shapeshifter having a couple children, the children had taken all the Shapeshifters genetics.
*They have a weakness to silver piercing their skin, the silver residue left can weaken them terribly. Wolfsbane is considered another weakness, something in the pollen working up allergies and making things generally unpleasant for them.
Dhampir
*Dhampir's are the children of a male vampire and a human female.
*Only elder vampire's and older who have underwent a ritual can father these children.
*The ritual involves the mother's of these children being taken as virgin brides by their fathers.
*Only 1 in 5 children are conceived successfully, and of these only 1 in 3 survive to term. If these women successfully carry their children to term only 2 in 10 survive the delivery process.
*Dhampirs are Physically stronger and faster than normal humans. Some are born with additional gifts related to their fathers abilities, and most have some form of telepathy and telekinesis.
*Unlike their Vampire fathers, Dhampir's can scar, if badly injured. They rarely suffer from illnesses, and only select drow poisons have an impact upon them. The effect is more severe than it would be for a Vampire, although less severe than it would be for a human. Dhampir's do not have the same weakness to the sun as Vampire's do.
*Dhampirs tend to age at the same rate as humans until the age of 18, and then their aging decelerates considerably. The rate of aging is directly related to their father's age at conception.
*A small number of Dhampir's are immortal, and stop aging completely in their twenties. These vampire's are the result of breeding between a vampire and a magical human.
*The oldest known mortal Dhampir lived to the age of 476
Most dhampir's have the ability to breed with humans and magical humans, however, immortal Dhampir's are sterile.
*If a Dhampir breeds with a human the resulting offspring is completely human, although their life span is slightly longer than that of a normal human.
*If a Dhampir successfully breeds with a magical human, then the resulting offspring is a Psychic.
*Dhampir's need to consume a steady supply of both food and blood. The volume is greater whilst they are under the age of 18. Immortal Dhampir's require a greater proportion of blood to food than Mortal Dhampir's
Vampires
*After a Vampire is created, they cease all aging and growing in general.
*A Vampires hair and nails do not get any longer, if they cut/shave it will remain that way forever.
*It is rare that a vampire is mortally wounded. It is also impossible for them to contract diseases or be poisoned. There are a few poisons from Drows that can effect them, but these are usually non fatal and are only potent enough to knock them out, although they would prove fatal for a human.
*Vampires ability to walk in the daylight is dependent upon their age. Fledglings can rarely stand it so they are usually found sleeping. While older vampires can walk during the day, however, their skin tends to easily sunburn and they are required to wear super strength suntan lotion.
*Most vampires tend to look at both genders rather then one exclusively, meaning most vampires are bisexual. Although at varying times throughout their history they may have a preference for one gender or another.
*All Vampires have a strong weakness to fire, and if they are beheaded or staked through the heart by a wooden spike, they die instantly, however they do not find weakness of any sort near religious items, garlic, or mirrors.
*Scars made before turning will always remain, however a Vampire cannot gain any new ones.
Vampire Aging
Newborn:
*A vampires newborn state lasts from the first day of their transformation, until their tenth anniversary when they are given the title of fledgling.
*A new born must fully drain one human of their blood a night, on their fifth year this increases to two people as their metabolism increases.
*At around their fifth year they begin to experience telepathic abilities, however, they usually cannot use this to communicate with anyone but their sire
*They are agile and strong, but nothing too extraordinary from a well built athletic human being.
Fledgling:
*A vampire is called a Fledgling between the ages of eleven and three hundred years. At this age they are given the title of vampire.
*A new born must fully drain one human of their blood a night, by their fifth year this increases to two people as their metabolism increases.
*A Fledgelings telepathic ability is easier to use, by the time they are in their mid two hundreds it is simple for them to communicate with most people.
*They are agile and strong, but nothing too extraordinary when compared to a well built athletic human being.
Vampire:
*As a vampire, they are more liberated from their sire and usually gain a sense of independence, although some will remain with their sires. Up until nine hundred and ninety nine, they are usually titled vampires.
*Human consumption is now dependent upon the vampire, some vampires can go through three victims in one night. This is from their strength, and agility increasing. It is also suspected that their intelligence increases.
*It isn't abnormal at this age to be faster at learning. If a vampire listens to another language then they spontaneously know how to read and speak it fluently, this includes reading and writing as well.
*They can officially sire other fledglings, however, many choose not to do this as becoming a sire involves a vampire accepting a considerable degree of responsibility.
*Their agility is increased slightly, but their strength is usually ten times their own weight. They begin to become ambidextrous, becoming dominant with both hands.
Elder:
*Reaching their maturity, they really don't need their sire at all any more. Handling themselves mostly, the only thing that seems to surpass them is Ancients.
*They are considered Elders for the next nine hundred and ninety nine years.
*Human consumption is approximately one human per month, as they get older they can begin to skip months although this is mostly dependent upon the vampire.
*An elder is now fully equipped to undergo a ritual, which will enable them to have children. The problem with vampires, is they cannot breed with another vampire. There is no such thing as a 'true' blood vampire. It then requires a human to give them a child, however this is how Dhampirs are produced.
*Only 2/10 mortal woman survive the labor of a Dhampir, female vampires are always sterile unless they have frozen an egg prior to their transformation, and can acquire a surrogate to carry the child for them. However, this doesn't count as a vampire egg, since the vampire would have been human when the egg was extracted.
*Every elder finds his or her special unique power, most of the powers tend to revolve around manipulation of the mind such as through hypnosis or illusions.
*Their agility and strength are both increased to their peak, although, with extra training they have the ability to become faster or stronger. They are dominant in both hands.
Ancient:
Reaching this age is an accomplishment amongst vampires,
*Ancients are highly respected and usually have the last say in everything. The murder of a ancient no matter who you are, is punishable only by the most painful death imaginable. This law is only ignored if its another Ancient killing another ancient, other wise this is considered a crime against vampires.
*On average they consume one Human per year, although if they obtain any injuries this figure can rise.
An Ancient can regrow limbs in a days period, however, this process is extremely painful.
*Ancients usually gather in order to make decisions on their underlings, they rarely involve themselves unless it effects them directly or the vampire reputation.
How to create a Newborn
*If an individual is chosen to be turned into a vampire, then they must first undergo a treacherous series of trials, to ascertain their suitability. Following this a ceremony occurs where the individual is drained to the point of death before their sire feeds them their blood. The sire is then buried with the newborn for three days whilst their transformation occurs.
*At the end of these three days the Sire assists their newborn childe to rise from the ground as they enter their new life.
*However, some vampire's are made without going through the complete ceremony, and they are classed as rogues. As such they are destroyed on sight if caught. Rumors also persist that some vampire's are turned much quicker through the use of Drow magic.
Houses
Blackbourne: The English house has always been the talk of the Vampire community, this is mostly from the fact that their has been a systematic extermination of all their ancients. As a result they are now headed by the youngest Ancient in history, the other two houses are uncertain how to take the new revolution.
Albescu: The Romanian house has been known for their members dropping and running to the Guild of Rogue Blood. Their current head has never been the most popular person within his house, however he is the eldest leader of the three houses.
Himura: The Japanese have usually been known for their silence, Rumors persist that they tend to go behind the other house's backs. There is no proof of such acts, however the leader is the original and plans on remaining that way until the end of time.
Humans
*Human's make up the majority of Slenmo City.
*Most are ignorant of the Supernatural creatures that live amongst them.
*A few are aware of Supernatural beings and often act as servants, or food sources for the others who live amongst them. However, many of these are treated as virtual slaves by their Supernatural masters.
*Rumours persist amongst the supernatural community that some humans have been captured and bred to live within blood farms.
Locations
Apartment's: There is a variety of different apartments within the city to house it's numerous occupants.
City Hall: The local government uses the town hall building to promote and enhance the quality of life of the community for its many civilians.
Czerny's: Czerny's was one of the first LGBT bar/club's to open in Britain. It first opened in 1985, under a tidal wave of media and public outcry, and was originally named OUT. Following the death of Micheal Marcela the original owner of the club, it was passed to Marcela's long term lover in 1995, and renamed Czerny's. The owner of Czerny's is Dysisa Nyla, and it is located in the centre of the city amidst a bustling complex which is owned by the GVH. Dysisa's niece Kriszti began working at the club as soon as she turned 18. Prior to this she spent a considerable degree of time in Dysisa's office whilst she worked as Dysisa was her legal guardian.
Slenmo le Plaza: A large retail park open 24 hours, its one of the biggest in the district which attracts a lot of tourism. There is a beauty salon, pharmacy, large retail department, a couple empty buildings, grocery store, video rental shop, dry cleaners, and couple of small restaurant chains. It has had many stores come and go, depending on consumer demand is what will go in next.
Stimolare: The restaurant has been standing since 1992, it is one of the finest and most expensive restaurants in Slenmo City. It specializes in Sicilian/Italian cuisine, it even captures a sort of Italian Renaissance atmosphere with its structure. The owner of the building is Leticia Vespa, she is also the head chef of the restaurant.
Slenmo University: Slenmo University was built in 1896. In recent times the university has struggled considerably with finances. This was recently rectified thanks to numerous donations, mainly from the GVH. This has led to the University relocating to a brand new campus on the South side of the city.
Slenmo Public Library: The Original building was built in 1859 as the original city hall. However, after a horrible fire caught in 1892, the library lost an incredible amount of information. One of the oldest buildings in the city, it is a landmark which keeps it from being shut down. It has a large selection of books, magazines, & newspapers dating back to the 1890s in stock, including some non mainstreamed books. Two floors are open to the public, there is rumor of a basement level that is only accessible by the employees. However, unknown to the mortal world, this is where meetings between ancient vampires are commonly held.
The Treasure Motel: A run down motel on the outskirts of the city. Rooms are rented by the night and by the hour.
All Saints Private School: The school was built in 1091 as St. Bernies Cathedral, it was converted into a school around 1500s for young men originally. After a long dark history of young men dying under mysterious circumstances, it was closed off for public safety. Around the 1960s a fungal was discovered as the culprit and cleaned out, the school was however opened as a all girls school. The school colors are cadet blue and white, which is the color scheme on the uniform.
Slenmo's Gentlemen Academy: The school originally built in 1500s to cater to the shut down of All Saints Private School, over the years all sorts of wonderful young men have came from this academy. In 1859 one of the buildings were consumed by a terrible fire from the neighboring library, since the rebuilding of that house there has been reports of unknown phenomena. The school colors are black and white, it is also the school uniform color scheme.

*Psychics like other humans can be turned into vampire’s, however, the change has a more severe effect on their bodies, as they rise with the equivalent mental power of an elder, although their physical power begins at the same stage as a normal newborn. As a result of this extra stress during the change, only 1 in 1000 psychics successfully manage to undergo the change. The others bodies literally become consumed by the change.
Magical Human
*Magical humans are fairly rare creatures. They are the offspring of an elf/drow and a human.
*Fifty percent of successful pregnacies do not survive to adulthood.
*These humans age at the same rate as a human, until their late teens, then this decelerates considerably.
The oldest known Magical Human reached the age of 327
*Magical Humans power comes directly from their Elven parent. Therefore, their elemental power is the same as their parent regardless of the season in which they themselves were born.
Drow
*They age at the same rate as elves, however there is no known Drow who has reached a thousand years of age. This is due to their societies infrastructure, if somebody needs to get ahead the easiest way is murdering them.
*Drows are usually black in skin color, however they can be lighter depending on where they were born. Their skin color is black due to the radiation from glow cap mushrooms, their original skin color is actually white although close to translucent due to the lack of light.
*A Drow's size is slightly smaller then their surface cousins, this is probably also due to the lack of sunlight. Females reach an average of 5'6 while males reach an average of 6'0, physical stature is dependent upon social standing and food consumption.
*Drows live within the Undercity
*The entire society is run as a matriarchy, there is one high priestess of Vierriia to each house. There is a total of 13 houses in all, the first house being the most powerful house amongst Drow society. The only way houses can become more powerful, is by raiding and slaughtering each other.
*Children in the Drow society are treated rather poorly, most of the time they are neglected or orphaned at a young age.
*However education is quite important to the society, all children are required by law to have a form of education. The poor children have little opportunities to advance. Whilst noble children tend to have more choices, such as wizardry and assassinry and if a child is female they have the opportunity to become an apprentice to a Vierriia priestess.
*Highly superstitious, if a first time mother gives birth to a male son that child is killed or abandoned. It is believed that he will only bring more male children into the family, which would mean dishonor on the family.
*If a male is born with a twin sister then he is not abandoned or killed, instead he is seen as a blessing from the goddess, as it is considered that he is born to be his twins protector for life. As a result these boys are often castrated in infancy to ensure they remain devoted to their sisters and do not feel the urge to abandon them in adulthood.
Psychology
Drow are taught from an early age to trust no one, even their own kin is untrustworthy and will eventually betray them. 80% of the Drow population suffers a form of Post traumatic stress disorder, the other 10% probably are best deemed insane. Most drow harbor a hatred of all other races, especially surface races but hate most of all the humans and the surface elves (not including Cyredeplith Elves). Drows enjoy surrounding themselves with things of beauty, and often partake in the most pleasurable of activities. Even Drow who escape the cruelties of the Undercity find it more difficult to form long-term friendships than most races do.
Goddess Vierriia
The goddess is the staple that keeps the whole society from going into compete madness (not like it is already), only females may become priestesses to her. Tribute is paid to her every night for a couple of hours, all Drows are obligated to attend ceremonies. Disobedience to Vierriia results in public humiliation, an example of this is painful public toture. The Drow's elven cousins, believe that she is at fault for corrupting them into the people they are today. While this could be right, some people question if Vierriia wasn't a demon who tricked the Drows.
Vierriia is responsible for fear, chaos, thieves, darkness, & vanity.
Elf
*Known for their height and high metabolism, most of them look like runway models. It isn't uncommon for females to reach 5'8, their male counterparts 6'4 on average. By human standards they are usually considered 'underweight', this is because most elves cannot gain weight.
*They are commonly noted for their ability to wield the four elements of nature. However, they element which they can wield is determined by the season in which they were born. Spring is wind, Summer is fire, Autumn is earth, & Winter is water.
*Elves have an natural ability with a bow, it doesn't take long for an elf to learn how to use and subsequently master archery. This is regardless of whether or not they are self-taught. However, they rarely rely on this primitive form of weaponry in the modern age.
*While they could be considered formidable opponents, they are lightweights, should someone deliver a serious physical blow to them. It can cause severe damage including unconsciousness, and fatalities.
*Elves do not tend to suffer from illnesses, and only poisons infused with magic can have an impact upon them. This means that they are also immune to the effects of human drugs and alcohol.
*Elves tend to be technologically advanced when compared to the rest of the world. This is mostly because their technological devices tend to hold magical properties. They are well known for their cloaking devices which help them to blend in with humans. This is usually disguised as a simple ring.
Elven Aging
Elves grow at the same rate as humans until they reach the age of twenty-one. At this point their aging rate decelerates rapidly, and they appear to maintain this physical form until around a thousand years of age. When they finally reach one thousand years, it seems that time begins to catch up with them and they begin to age at the same rate as a human.
Elven Deities
Kerine: The goddess of song, fertility, children, spring, & wind
Uthethal: The god of magic, war, warriors, summer, & fire
Aeron: The god of order, gold, death, autumn, & earth
Sumila: The goddess of love, beauty, marriage, winter, & water
The gods and goddesses work in harmony together, each one being worshiped by those born to them during their season. This worship usually consists of tributes, in the form of hymns, or the lighting of a candle. Occasionally a sacrifice will be offered to the gods and goddesses if an elf feels the need to be forgiven for a deed which they have carried out, however, this sacrifice is always tailored to suit the god or goddess that it is being offered too. However one goddess not mentioned, is the goddess Vierriia. Elves believe that worship of such a dark and sinister goddess, has resulted in the Drow curse.
Kingdoms
The Kingdom of Heasirretyn is also known by its English name, those above the heavens. The kingdom is a castle which floats in the sky, and is a closely guarded sanctuary. The only way in which access can be granted to the castle is through the summoning of a magical elven portal. The castle has a barrier which makes it completely untraceable, and creates a ward against all flying objects which relocates them automatically to the other side of the castle. Nothing about its government is known, mostly due to the fact elves from there rarely come down.
The Kingdom of Maernettln is ruled in a similar fashion as modern day England, there is a monarchy which acts as a figure head, however, the monarchy holds no constitutional power. Instead the kingdom is ruled by a parliament, which make all major decisions for the citizens. The Kingdom is located within a different realm to assist in the continued growth of the kingdom. However, access to the realm is found within the city. A select few members of the parliament have formed a committee to work with the GVH. Otherwise elves usually have little to do with humans.
Aleanddare City is a city ahead of our time by at least a good fifty years, most of the city runs by a magical essence. The city's location is in an alternative universe. The city is governed by a collection of merchants, they only look out for the best deals for themselves and their costumers. They come to Slenmo mostly to sell their merchandise, rarely any of them desire to live in the realm.
The Cyredeplith Empire is a hostile and completely dysfunctional elven kingdom, as a result their society is the closest to drow society. They are the only elven race which has allied with the Drows. Their society suffers from poverty due to neglect and misappropriation of funds to the militia and its dictator. The citizens fear overthrowing the current rule, as there are no options available for a better ruler. Most of the citizens have no idea about humans, as they live on a small undetectable island in the Bermuda triangle.
Shapeshifter
*Primarily a Shapeshifter is the child of a Female
*Dhampir and a Male Vampire, the birthrate of one of them is limited only by the bloodline of the Vampire and Dhampir. However, it is rare that a Shapeshifter lives long.
The Moon phases do not effect the control over their shape, however it effects their emotions and stability.
*Shapeshifters have unlimited animal forms they can turn into, however they have one main animal they draw their powers and characteristics from. Usually they have a half transformation form, some of them are born in this form and cannot get out of it. Usually their tail and ears are shown, it also increases their senses ten folds.
*There is a higher chance in multiple births from shapeshifters, it isn't considered unusual to have sextuplets or a higher amount.
*Instinctively Shapeshifters do not enjoy humans, its rare for them to be friends with a human. The phenomena is still unknown, most the time they live with supernatural creatures such as Vampires, Elves, or Drows. There is a record of a human and Shapeshifter having a couple children, the children had taken all the Shapeshifters genetics.
*They have a weakness to silver piercing their skin, the silver residue left can weaken them terribly. Wolfsbane is considered another weakness, something in the pollen working up allergies and making things generally unpleasant for them.
Dhampir
*Dhampir's are the children of a male vampire and a human female.
*Only elder vampire's and older who have underwent a ritual can father these children.
*The ritual involves the mother's of these children being taken as virgin brides by their fathers.
*Only 1 in 5 children are conceived successfully, and of these only 1 in 3 survive to term. If these women successfully carry their children to term only 2 in 10 survive the delivery process.
*Dhampirs are Physically stronger and faster than normal humans. Some are born with additional gifts related to their fathers abilities, and most have some form of telepathy and telekinesis.
*Unlike their Vampire fathers, Dhampir's can scar, if badly injured. They rarely suffer from illnesses, and only select drow poisons have an impact upon them. The effect is more severe than it would be for a Vampire, although less severe than it would be for a human. Dhampir's do not have the same weakness to the sun as Vampire's do.
*Dhampirs tend to age at the same rate as humans until the age of 18, and then their aging decelerates considerably. The rate of aging is directly related to their father's age at conception.
*A small number of Dhampir's are immortal, and stop aging completely in their twenties. These vampire's are the result of breeding between a vampire and a magical human.
*The oldest known mortal Dhampir lived to the age of 476
Most dhampir's have the ability to breed with humans and magical humans, however, immortal Dhampir's are sterile.
*If a Dhampir breeds with a human the resulting offspring is completely human, although their life span is slightly longer than that of a normal human.
*If a Dhampir successfully breeds with a magical human, then the resulting offspring is a Psychic.
*Dhampir's need to consume a steady supply of both food and blood. The volume is greater whilst they are under the age of 18. Immortal Dhampir's require a greater proportion of blood to food than Mortal Dhampir's
Vampires
*After a Vampire is created, they cease all aging and growing in general.
*A Vampires hair and nails do not get any longer, if they cut/shave it will remain that way forever.
*It is rare that a vampire is mortally wounded. It is also impossible for them to contract diseases or be poisoned. There are a few poisons from Drows that can effect them, but these are usually non fatal and are only potent enough to knock them out, although they would prove fatal for a human.
*Vampires ability to walk in the daylight is dependent upon their age. Fledglings can rarely stand it so they are usually found sleeping. While older vampires can walk during the day, however, their skin tends to easily sunburn and they are required to wear super strength suntan lotion.
*Most vampires tend to look at both genders rather then one exclusively, meaning most vampires are bisexual. Although at varying times throughout their history they may have a preference for one gender or another.
*All Vampires have a strong weakness to fire, and if they are beheaded or staked through the heart by a wooden spike, they die instantly, however they do not find weakness of any sort near religious items, garlic, or mirrors.
*Scars made before turning will always remain, however a Vampire cannot gain any new ones.
Vampire Aging
Newborn:
*A vampires newborn state lasts from the first day of their transformation, until their tenth anniversary when they are given the title of fledgling.
*A new born must fully drain one human of their blood a night, on their fifth year this increases to two people as their metabolism increases.
*At around their fifth year they begin to experience telepathic abilities, however, they usually cannot use this to communicate with anyone but their sire
*They are agile and strong, but nothing too extraordinary from a well built athletic human being.
Fledgling:
*A vampire is called a Fledgling between the ages of eleven and three hundred years. At this age they are given the title of vampire.
*A new born must fully drain one human of their blood a night, by their fifth year this increases to two people as their metabolism increases.
*A Fledgelings telepathic ability is easier to use, by the time they are in their mid two hundreds it is simple for them to communicate with most people.
*They are agile and strong, but nothing too extraordinary when compared to a well built athletic human being.
Vampire:
*As a vampire, they are more liberated from their sire and usually gain a sense of independence, although some will remain with their sires. Up until nine hundred and ninety nine, they are usually titled vampires.
*Human consumption is now dependent upon the vampire, some vampires can go through three victims in one night. This is from their strength, and agility increasing. It is also suspected that their intelligence increases.
*It isn't abnormal at this age to be faster at learning. If a vampire listens to another language then they spontaneously know how to read and speak it fluently, this includes reading and writing as well.
*They can officially sire other fledglings, however, many choose not to do this as becoming a sire involves a vampire accepting a considerable degree of responsibility.
*Their agility is increased slightly, but their strength is usually ten times their own weight. They begin to become ambidextrous, becoming dominant with both hands.
Elder:
*Reaching their maturity, they really don't need their sire at all any more. Handling themselves mostly, the only thing that seems to surpass them is Ancients.
*They are considered Elders for the next nine hundred and ninety nine years.
*Human consumption is approximately one human per month, as they get older they can begin to skip months although this is mostly dependent upon the vampire.
*An elder is now fully equipped to undergo a ritual, which will enable them to have children. The problem with vampires, is they cannot breed with another vampire. There is no such thing as a 'true' blood vampire. It then requires a human to give them a child, however this is how Dhampirs are produced.
*Only 2/10 mortal woman survive the labor of a Dhampir, female vampires are always sterile unless they have frozen an egg prior to their transformation, and can acquire a surrogate to carry the child for them. However, this doesn't count as a vampire egg, since the vampire would have been human when the egg was extracted.
*Every elder finds his or her special unique power, most of the powers tend to revolve around manipulation of the mind such as through hypnosis or illusions.
*Their agility and strength are both increased to their peak, although, with extra training they have the ability to become faster or stronger. They are dominant in both hands.
Ancient:
Reaching this age is an accomplishment amongst vampires,
*Ancients are highly respected and usually have the last say in everything. The murder of a ancient no matter who you are, is punishable only by the most painful death imaginable. This law is only ignored if its another Ancient killing another ancient, other wise this is considered a crime against vampires.
*On average they consume one Human per year, although if they obtain any injuries this figure can rise.
An Ancient can regrow limbs in a days period, however, this process is extremely painful.
*Ancients usually gather in order to make decisions on their underlings, they rarely involve themselves unless it effects them directly or the vampire reputation.
How to create a Newborn
*If an individual is chosen to be turned into a vampire, then they must first undergo a treacherous series of trials, to ascertain their suitability. Following this a ceremony occurs where the individual is drained to the point of death before their sire feeds them their blood. The sire is then buried with the newborn for three days whilst their transformation occurs.
*At the end of these three days the Sire assists their newborn childe to rise from the ground as they enter their new life.
*However, some vampire's are made without going through the complete ceremony, and they are classed as rogues. As such they are destroyed on sight if caught. Rumors also persist that some vampire's are turned much quicker through the use of Drow magic.
Houses
Blackbourne: The English house has always been the talk of the Vampire community, this is mostly from the fact that their has been a systematic extermination of all their ancients. As a result they are now headed by the youngest Ancient in history, the other two houses are uncertain how to take the new revolution.
Albescu: The Romanian house has been known for their members dropping and running to the Guild of Rogue Blood. Their current head has never been the most popular person within his house, however he is the eldest leader of the three houses.
Himura: The Japanese have usually been known for their silence, Rumors persist that they tend to go behind the other house's backs. There is no proof of such acts, however the leader is the original and plans on remaining that way until the end of time.
Humans
*Human's make up the majority of Slenmo City.
*Most are ignorant of the Supernatural creatures that live amongst them.
*A few are aware of Supernatural beings and often act as servants, or food sources for the others who live amongst them. However, many of these are treated as virtual slaves by their Supernatural masters.
*Rumours persist amongst the supernatural community that some humans have been captured and bred to live within blood farms.
Locations
Apartment's: There is a variety of different apartments within the city to house it's numerous occupants.
City Hall: The local government uses the town hall building to promote and enhance the quality of life of the community for its many civilians.
Czerny's: Czerny's was one of the first LGBT bar/club's to open in Britain. It first opened in 1985, under a tidal wave of media and public outcry, and was originally named OUT. Following the death of Micheal Marcela the original owner of the club, it was passed to Marcela's long term lover in 1995, and renamed Czerny's. The owner of Czerny's is Dysisa Nyla, and it is located in the centre of the city amidst a bustling complex which is owned by the GVH. Dysisa's niece Kriszti began working at the club as soon as she turned 18. Prior to this she spent a considerable degree of time in Dysisa's office whilst she worked as Dysisa was her legal guardian.
Slenmo le Plaza: A large retail park open 24 hours, its one of the biggest in the district which attracts a lot of tourism. There is a beauty salon, pharmacy, large retail department, a couple empty buildings, grocery store, video rental shop, dry cleaners, and couple of small restaurant chains. It has had many stores come and go, depending on consumer demand is what will go in next.
Stimolare: The restaurant has been standing since 1992, it is one of the finest and most expensive restaurants in Slenmo City. It specializes in Sicilian/Italian cuisine, it even captures a sort of Italian Renaissance atmosphere with its structure. The owner of the building is Leticia Vespa, she is also the head chef of the restaurant.
Slenmo University: Slenmo University was built in 1896. In recent times the university has struggled considerably with finances. This was recently rectified thanks to numerous donations, mainly from the GVH. This has led to the University relocating to a brand new campus on the South side of the city.
Slenmo Public Library: The Original building was built in 1859 as the original city hall. However, after a horrible fire caught in 1892, the library lost an incredible amount of information. One of the oldest buildings in the city, it is a landmark which keeps it from being shut down. It has a large selection of books, magazines, & newspapers dating back to the 1890s in stock, including some non mainstreamed books. Two floors are open to the public, there is rumor of a basement level that is only accessible by the employees. However, unknown to the mortal world, this is where meetings between ancient vampires are commonly held.
The Treasure Motel: A run down motel on the outskirts of the city. Rooms are rented by the night and by the hour.
All Saints Private School: The school was built in 1091 as St. Bernies Cathedral, it was converted into a school around 1500s for young men originally. After a long dark history of young men dying under mysterious circumstances, it was closed off for public safety. Around the 1960s a fungal was discovered as the culprit and cleaned out, the school was however opened as a all girls school. The school colors are cadet blue and white, which is the color scheme on the uniform.
Slenmo's Gentlemen Academy: The school originally built in 1500s to cater to the shut down of All Saints Private School, over the years all sorts of wonderful young men have came from this academy. In 1859 one of the buildings were consumed by a terrible fire from the neighboring library, since the rebuilding of that house there has been reports of unknown phenomena. The school colors are black and white, it is also the school uniform color scheme.
