I nodded vigorously. "Oh yeah."

Avery

I grinned at him. "I guess you're right. Food fights more often, maybe?"

Elijah

"Definitely. Though I can still talk to you despite starting a food fight first, right?" I smiled at her.

Angel

I smirked at him and turned to Cooper. "What do you think? Should I go out with him?"

[Louise]

Ciana

I pulled away when my phone began to ring. I took it out of my pocket and frowned. What was Mum doing, ringing now? I did not feel like talking.

Kyle

I took a step back and looked at her, wondering if she was gonna answer it or not.

Seth

After finally cleaning up myself I made my way toward my room. I hadn't seen my roommate yet but I didn't really care who it was at the moment, I was too tired.

[Louise]

Ciana

I decided to answer it. "What do you want, Mum?" I asked in an annoyed tone.
To my surprise, Mum didn't answer. "Hello, is this Ciana Cambria?" the unfamiliar, male voice said.
I was worried. "Yeah, it is," I answered.
There was a silence, then the voice began to tell me what had just happened. I felt sick listening to him explain the event.

Kyle

I put my hands in my pocket as I looked worryingly at her. I could tell that something was seriously wrong.

[Louise]

Ciana

"...ok. Thank you," I whispered, and the hung up the phone. I then sat down and began to cry. I couldn't believe it; my mother and father were dead, and my sister was in the hospital. It was all too much.

Kyle

"Oh my God," I mumbled as I sat down next to her, putting my arm around her shoulder. I hated seeing her cry, I didn't know what had happened but whatever made her cry must be terrible.

[Louise]

Ciana

I wrapped my arms around Kyle and hugged him tightly. I felt terrible, but I was glad that he was here. I didn't know what I'd do if I was alone.

Kayne

I flipped through the channels for the tenth time, looking for anything related to Kyle or Cora's kid.
"Would you stop that and come eat already?" my wife shouted from the kitchen.
"Fine," I muttered and put the remote on the coffee table before getting up and walking toward the kitchen.
"This just in: the world-wide celebrity Cora Cambria was killed in a car accident this afternoon. It has been confirmed that her husband, Edward Cambria, and younger daughter were in the car with her. Cora and Edward were killed by the impact while their daughter is at the hospital at the moment in critical condition."
I froze in my steps and turned toward the television where they were showing a video of a car which was destroyed in every sense of the word.

Kyle

I just held her silently, stroking her hair lightly.

[Louise]

Ciana

I wiped the tears away from my eyes, and looked up at Kyle. "My parents were killed," I told him, and began to cry again.

Kayne

I threw myself over the phone, dialing Kyle's number.

Kyle

I looked at her, my jaw dropped. "Oh no... oh my God," I mumbled, not sure what to say. I pulled her into a tighter embrace. Then, my phone rang. I groaned and quickly answered, ready to tell the person to call back.
"Kyle! Are you okay?!" the voice shrieked on the other side.
I sighed. "Yes, dad, I'm fine." I glanced at Ciana.
"Were you in the car?"
"No, I'm still at the school with Ciana."
He went silent for a few moments, I thought he'd hung up until I heard his breathing.

[Louise]

Ciana

I hugged Kyle as tightly as I could, and stayed silent. I didn't know what to say, anway.

[alex]

Kayne

"Right," I said and nodded as I watched the video of the destroyed car again on the news. "That's good. Kyle?"
"What?" he asked slightly annoyed. I frowned, I knew I deserved it, I'd been a jerk to him. For... forever. "Take care of her," I told him seriously before hanging up.
"I'm not hungry today," I called as I heard my wife's annoyed sigh from the kitchen. I walked upstairs, just seeing the wrecked car in my head.

Kyle

I stared at my phone in disbelief before putting it back in my pocket and wrapping my arms around Ciana again. "I know it seems like things won't ever get better, but they will. I promise," I murmured to her.

[Louise]

Ciana

"I doubt it," I replied sadly, before letting out a huge sob.

[alex]

Kyle

I frowned. "I'd do anything to make you feel better," I mumbled, more to myself.

[Louise]

Ciana

I shook my head. "I want my mum and dad back," I sobbed. "You can't bring them back."

[alex]

Kyle

I frowned, having no idea what to say. I felt so helpless, she was right though: there was no idea I could bring back her parents. "I'm sorry... "

[Louise]

Ciana

I didn't say anything, just let out another sob.

[alex]

Kyle

I stared at the ground, lost for words.

Kayne

I closed the door to the bedroom and looked at the closet with a deep sigh. I opened it and picked up one of the floorboards which revealed a box. I opened it carefully and looked at the only object inside. A small picture which I'd taken with my cellphone so many years ago. I picked it up and took a closer look. Her smile was so wide and we both looked so happy. I remembered that day. I'd said something funny before I took the picture which made her laugh uncontrollably and she then got mad at me because she thought she looked stupid in the picture. I disagreed. She looked beautiful, like she always had.

[Louise]

Ciana

"I'm sorry," I murmured, wiping away my tears. "I'm ruining the potentially romantic memory here, aren't I?"

[alex]

Kayne

I held the picture over my heart as I leaned against the wall. Damn, it was easy to wish that we would never have broken up but we had both known that it wasn't healthy. Though I'd never admit it, I loved her and I was selfish, I needed her. I never thought we'd love to hate each other so much but I didn't even get a chance to make things up to her.

Kyle

I shook my head. "Don't worry about that. Do you want to go inside?"

[Louise]

Ciana

I hesitated, then nodded.

Kayne

I just wished Kyle wouldn't do the same mistake that I did. I heard my wife muttered downstairs but I really didn't care.

Kyle

I nodded as well and lead her inside and then slowly walked toward her room, not knowing where else to go.

[Louise]

Ciana

I stayed quiet as I walked with Kyle. I knew he was taking me inside, but I didn't know exactly where he was taking me. I hoped that I wasn't going somewhere too public.

Kyle

I opened the door to her room and held it open for her. "I think you should try to rest," I mumbled.

I nodded, and layed down on my bed. I closed my eyes and tried my best to forget everything.

Kyle

I sat down on her roommate's bed and watched her before laying down and closing my eyes as well. I couldn't leave her alone right now.

I couldn't stay calm, and I sat up in bed. I took out my phone and googled my mother, gasping in horror as I saw all the images from the crash.

Kyle

I heard noises from a distant but my body was too tired to move. I slowly fell asleep.
