"Anyway, I'm just gonna assume that you are not the same race," I told them quickly as I touched and examined her stomach.
She shook her head.

Selena

"I'm a werewolf and Ian," she jerked her head in her husband's direction. "Is a healer... that's also a vampire." She scowled slightly but quickly replaced it with smile.

Damon

"Alright," I nodded once. "And you're sure that he's the father?"
"Yes!" she called out, slightly offended. I turned to Ian. "Were you a vampire when... she got pregnant with the child?"

Holly
"actually, yes." I said looking back up at the guy. I forced back a 'whoa'. "Well...hi, there, Leslie," I said also biting back a comment about his name. "I'll be back in a second. I'm gonna make him let you out here." I went to go persuade the jailer with that.

[Callie]

Ian

I bit my lip slightly and nodded. "What do you think will happen?" I asked, unsure if I was talking about the baby or if Selena would be safe.

Silas

I put down the phone and frowned once she'd left. "How did you get into this... cubicle, anyways?" I asked Leslie.
"I snuck. Figured it was your girl."
"I didn't," I said, snorting slightly. Actually, I'd figured it was Micah.

Damon

"Well... I can't tell what... mix the child will be but usually when two races mix you won't have a normal pregnancy. But you're not having the baby today though, usually you're just having pains because the baby is growing and you're uterus is not keeping up. It'll hurt for a while but then it'll pass. You can expect these sort of pains through out the pregnancy."
The girl looked at me, her jaw dropped. "Nine months of this?"
I shook my head. "No, the child is growing so quickly that it'll be fully grown in about two months. Although before you leave, I'd like to do an ultrasound."

Holly
My voice started to rise, and then there was a loud "FINE" and the jailer got up and let Silas out. I smiled at him. "My power of persuasiveness."

Ian

"Two months?" I said, eyes wide. That wasn't very long...

Silas

I laughed and followed her out. Leslie slowly walked back to our cell, being escorted by two guards. "Nicely done," I said, raising an eyebrow as we were dragged into a meeting room, but the warden guy was still there. "Do you have to stay? 'Coz, I mean, we can give you a show," I told him irritably, though I was just kidding. Mostly. I wouldn't particularly mind if we did, but...

I nodded. "Give or take a week or two," I told him as I prepared the ultrasound objects. "Okay, here we go." I put the (whatever it's called) on her stomach and looked at the monitor. "Huh..." I raised an eyebrow.

Holly
I rolled my eyes at Silas and gave a simple glare to the warden guy. He mumbled something inaudible and I turned to Silas. "Are you ready?" I asked with a grin.

[Callie]

Ian

"What?" I asked, looking at the monitor, too. I had no idea what he was looking at; I'd never understood these things.

Silas

"Obviously. Don't tease, it's not polite," I told her, pretending to pout.

Holly
I smiled and wrapped my arms around his neck, then kissed him on the lips.

Damon

"Well," I said and turned the monitor so that he could see better. "There are two hearts. But... only one of them is beating." I heard the girl gasp. "Oh my god!" she said quietly.
"No, no, I don't think it's dead. I would assume that it was but... you see that it's skeleton is much clearer than the other baby's? That means it's more developed, it's stronger. And the baby is moving, too." I paused slightly and watched their reactions. "I think that baby has taken after you," I jerked by head toward Ian. "It's a vampire. Which also means that you're having twins."

Brianne

I frowned, "So now I'm not even allowed to slap the judge? I don't see that as fair."

[Callie]

OOC: What is with the super-fertile charries my guys knock up? ALWAYS twins. xDD

Ian

I blinked a few times. "So, one's a vampire... and one's either a healer or a werewolf, or some sort of mix?"

Silas

I kissed her back for all I was worth - well, more than I was worth, since I was just some homeless kid off the streets that had a knack for pickpocketing - since I wasn't sure when I'd see her again. It depended on when I got out of here. If I got out of here.

"Pretty much," I shrugged.
"But... but! What if they hurt each other, what if--" she looked at me and frowned.
"I understand you're worried but I'm sure it'll be fine. I haven't experienced quite a couple like you though, so we haven't got any other babies to compare yours with."

Holly
I heard his thoughts! I opened my eyes wide and pulled away. "Oh my God!!!!" I grinned stupidly. "I can read your mind!!!"

[Callie]

Silas

"That's wonderful," I mumbled, pressing my lips to hers again. I jumped back when the door flew open and Leslie charged in. What the hell? He walked calmly over to us, smiling eerily.
"Rick needs you," he told her, and my eyes widened. Even more so when his hands reached out to grab her.
"Don't touch her," I hissed, eyes flashing.
He looked at me and laughed. "You think you can stop me, pretty boy? She owes me. He's dead because of her, and I want that money."
I shook my head. "Don't you dare touch her," I repeated.
Leslie just laughed again and threw me against the wall, starting for Holly again. I didn't have time to think, just react. So that's what I did. I leapt up and managed to get around his back - damn, he was tall! - then I took my pocketknife out and ran it across his neck. He looked shocked, but then I jumped off him and he fell onto the ground. Shit. I'd just killed someone. In jail. Great. Well... at least Holly was safe. Can you still read my mind? I asked, ignoring the jeers and "kill her too"s from the other guys there. I could see other police officers and whatever rushing down the halls to me.

Ian

"Then you don't know for sure that it'll be all right," I said with a slight frown.

Holly
I stood there, speechless and frozen. Yeah, I can. I sent to him. Ignore the helpless little girl show I'm about to put on. It may save your ass. I started to cry. "Oh.....my God....that guy just killed himself!" I sobbed. The police officiers looked at me skeptically. Although not many people could just burst out into tears like that, all I had to do was think of how much some wound had hurt. I didn't expect them to fall for it. If they go for you, run and do not come back until this dies down, I told him sternly.

Selena

He shook his head. "No, I can not be sure. That is why I'd like you to come in every week or so, so that I can make sure that the babies are fine."
I frowned and looked Ian. My expression was sad, indeed, and extremely worried. "Thank you," I murmured to the doctor and realized the pains had stopped. I got up and went toward the door, ready to leave.

Silas

The guys started towards me, and I grabbed Holly's hand, running for the exit. I ended up having to slit his throat too. Then we were outside, and I made a ton of twists and turns - so many I almost had myself confused. We finally stopped in an alley, and I was silent for a minute, catching my breath. "You meant leave the city, didn't you?" I murmured, frowning slightly.

Ian

"We'll be back in a week, then, Doc," I said, following Selena out and hugging her.

Selena

I buried my face in his chest as I hugged him back tightly. "I'm scared, Ian," I said as I brushed of a few tears that were making their way down my cheek.

[Callie]

Ian

I frowned and hugged her just as tightly. "Me too. But... we can only hope for the best. Right?"

Micah

"Life isn't fair, Bri. I'm sorry, but slapping the judge would probably get you into trouble too, and we don't particularly want to have to try and get you out, too."

Brianne

"Micah, you never do anything daring in life! I'm going to figure out how to get him out of jail, legally or not." I wasn't going to let Silas rot in prison.

Micah

I sighed and thought for a moment. She had a point. Maybe I should take a chance for once in my life. "Fine. But I'm going to help."

Selena

I looked up at him. "Yeah. Are you sure you want to be a father though, you looked kind of... terrified in there. It's okay if you don't want to, I can raise it on my own."

Brianne

"Wow, I wasn't actually expecting you'd agree with me," I smirked slightly, "So what should we do first?"

[Callie]

Micah

I shrugged. "I don't know. I thought you had a plan. Maybe we could go and see if Holly wants to help us out?"

Ian

My eyes widened and I took a step back, shaking my head. "How could... how could you even think that about me? I mean... I already told you I'd help you raise it. Well... them. Just because there's one more than we expected, it doesn't change anything."

Brianne

"Good idea. And by the way, my plan consisted of yelling at you for being a goody two-shoes and walking off. I didn't have anything after that," I announced while walking towards the door to find Holly.

Micah

I laughed. "Well, I admire your planning skills."

Selena

I blushed.. "I just... w-want you to be happy. I couldn't live with m-myself if you're unhappy. I just thought since it's s-so sudden..." I frowned slightly as my stuttering returned, I was starting to get upset because I was afraid he was mad at me. I was even mad at me because I was suggesting that my children could be raised without a father, but still... I cared more about Ian then anyone in this world, more then my unborn children. I was ashamed, what mother thought like that?

Ian

I frowned slightly. I was mad at her... momentarily. But then she'd started stuttering and sounding all adorable, while looking gorgeous at the same time, and the anger just left my system. I stepped closer to her again and crushed her to my chest. "I want to help. I love you, Selena - and our babies."
