"Ah." I said. "And what if there was no competition at all? Wouldn't that make it kind of...I don't know...boring?"

I shrugged. "True enough, I guess."

Alison

I frowned to myself, having no idea what to say to that.

Fergie

"If she uses like a banned curse like the killing curse, she drains herself." I smiled

Candi

I nodded. As we walked along, I wondered if I should tell him that there really was no competition, or if that really would bore him enough that he'd go away and leave me behind. Not that I was that attached to him, i told myself.

"Tada!" I said, flinging open the broom closet place and looking down as a frog hopped past our feet.
Xander looked up and grinned. "Decided to help, have you?"
"Thought I'd give it a shot. I don't know if Candi wants to help or not, though."

Candi

"I'll help if you tell me why there's a frog in the broom closet." I laughed.


Ooc: Um, what time is it, so I know what class my new charrie should be in Nevermind...she's an Eigth Year...I make up her timetable...

Cat

Walking down the hallway, I heard voices around the corner. Stopping, I pulled one of those creepy ear things that the Weasley Twins had made, and listened in carefully.

Ace

"We're turning the brooms into frogs," I answered with a grin, taking out my wand and casting a different spell than the one Xander was, turning the broom into a deep burgundy rose and handing it to Candi with a smile.

I also find it ironic that Cat's using a Weasley twins ear thing, and Ace and Xander are much like the Weasley twins.

Candi

I smiled, taking the rose. "Sounds fun." I told him, then, thinking for a second, I managed to turn a broom into a frog carring a Yellow Rose with a Red Tip. "Oh. It worked." I grinned at him.

Cat

One of the frogs hopped by me, and I got an idea. Turning it's warts Yellow and Black, I levatated it right back, and on to some girl's head. Rats. I hadn't meant to put it there. Summoning a bit of Air Magic, I tried to blow it back off, but only manged to blow her hair around it.

[Callie]

Ace

"You know what that rose stands for?" I asked her with a slight smile, moving her hair to the side a bit and biting my lip to hold back laughter. "You know you have a frog in your hair?" It was poison dart, too, from the looks of it, though I wasn't going to tell her that.

ooc: Oh, is that a real frog wart color? I just did it because Cat is a Hufflepuff,

Candi

Opening my mouth to say Yes, I did know, I insted focused on the frog. "Not to sound like a girl, but Ew. Is it the good kind, or the 'quick, get her to the hospital wing' kind?" I asked.

Cat

All well. There was focus on the frog now, so I changed the warts to Red & Gold, Then Green & Silver, Blue & Bronze, and finally, a mixture of all eight colors.

OOC: Well, poison darts are just black and yellow, I think, I don't know about their warts xD

Ace

I arched an eyebrow at the frog. "Um... that's a good question," I said and picked the frog up. "It's multicolored." I grinned and set it down on the frog, then peered around the corner at the other girl. I figured someone had to be doing it, and Xander was still making more frogs. "Feel free to join us, if you want. Nice color-changing exhibit, too." I grinned again.

Candi

I looked around as a giggle echoed down the hall. "You put a frog in my hair?" I asked.

Cat

"I didn't mean to," I told her, walking down the hall to them. "Bad aim, I guess. I tried to get it out, but I think I just moved your hair arond. Sorry."

Ace

I laughed a bit and went back into the "broom room". Which should be renamed the frog room, since there were now no brooms left.
"I'm scared to move," Xander announced.
"You might step on one."
"I know."
"I'll try and move them," I said, casting a spell to push them all out of the room. Except now frogs were flooding the hallway.
"We should probably get out of this corridor," Xander announced as the both of us emerged into the corridor, looking at the two girls. "Before we get caught." he grinned sheepishly.

Candi & Cat

"Good Idea." We said together.

Ace

Xander ran a bit ahead of us, and I followed, watching the girls as I walked backwards. Hmm... I think I liked Candi more, though the new girl was pretty hot, too.

Candi

Of course he likes her better, she's pretty. I thought to myself. NO! some distant part of my brain screamed, She's no match for you! You're a Slytherin, damnit! Start acting like it!

Cat

I took stock of my options. The boy walking backward was cute, but not as cute as the other one. The other girl seemed to like the backward walking boy, any way.

Xander

"Teacher alert," I muttered, stopping at the corner and looking at Ace, who immediately got that look on his face. Thinking. "PEEVES!" he shouted at the top of his lungs. "LOOK WHAT YOU'VE DONE NOW!"
Suddenly Peeves showed up, looking confused. "What are you talking about, Amerson? I didn't - "
"The frogs in the other corridor, of course!" Ace exclaimed. "Why would you do that?"
"I - "
Suddenly we were covered in a cloud of smoke, and I felt a nudge. I understood almost immediately, and grabbed the new girl's hand, leading her out of the smoke while Ace did the same with Candi as the teachers went into the cloud and we ran out and up the stairs.
"You're a genius," I muttered to Ace, taking a deep breath when we'd stopped running.

Candi

"What was that black smoke?" I asked, once we were safely away.

Cat

"Peruvian Instant Darkness Powder." I answered her. "Seriously awesome stuff." I grinned. "I'm Cat, by the way. I told them.

Candi

"Candi." I replied.

[Callie]

Xander

I grinned at the girl who called herself Cat. She seemed pretty awesome. "I'm Xander."

Ace

"Ace," I said and smirked. "It's very handy to carry along with you. And something tells me even if Peeves tells the truth, they won't believe him."

Gyle

"No but i'll believe him.." I smiled and looked at them and laughed

[Callie]

Ace

I whirled around and grimaced. "But you wouldn't tell, would you?" I asked with an innocent look.

Gyle

"Well...it all depends don't it." I smirked and looked at him

[Callie]

Ace

I stopped with the innocent look. "On what?" I asked warily.

Gyle

"On getting that Fergie and Luca to split up....I know your sister is friends with Fergie so I know you can help." I smirked

Candi

I put on my best Slytherin sneer, and waited to see what the guys would do.

Cat

I silently took inventory of what all I had on me. Four things of Extendable Ears, Three Decoy Detonators, Eight Quills, a Pygmy Puff, Two Love Potions, a botle of Pepperup Potion, and...hmm...a bottle of Confusing Concoction. I waited. That last one may be useful in a moment.

[Callie]

"Well, I guess you should talk to Alison about that, shouldn't you?" I told him, arching an eyebrow. Somehow I had the feeling this wouldn't end up. If he asked Alison, there was a good chance he'd end up dangling from the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom chandelier.

Gyle

"No im asking you." I looked at him and smirked "Oh dear even you should see it isnt right a gryffindor and a slytherin." I heard more footsteps and spotted a girl heading this way and I laughed and waved her over.

Jesse

"Oi you best not be trying to steal my firebolt from there..." I growled in annoyance at the gryffindor boy who laughed and waved me over.

[Callie]

Ace

"Even if it's not right, it's none of my business," I told him, looking down at the floor when the other girl came over. Great, was she gonna try and help him too?

[Jadey!]

Jesse

"Hey Ace isn't it?" I smiled and looked at him and then at the other boy and "Gyle rakes...hmmm you better move on....before i let people know your dirty little secret." I giggled and his eyes grew wide and he scuttled away.

I nodded, then grinned a bit. "I take it I don't get to know?"
