So, who's planning on doing NanoWrimo this November? We've got a little over a month, but the earlier the more time to get better at working on plot/characters/storyline. YAY NANO!  I nearly wasn't going to do it this year because I was planning on doing it with Noah, but I've decided I'm going to do it anyway. My aim is to get 25,000 words, because Ghosteye was just under it at the end. I already have a visual interpretation of a character completed, I just don't know what I'm going to do with her. I scrapped my original Nano idea long ago and I'm thinking of something new. I'm leaning towards the fantasy genre. |

Sounds like you're already off to a great start. Keep it up!  I have a couple ideas for realistic and a couple for fantasy. I'm thinking about doing one of each. I'll just give a quick sentence about each one since I'm trying to not make anything specific so I can keep brainstorming freely. ^^ 1. Realistic. Suburbs girl meets Elite Prep School. 2. Realistic. College student running from her past ends up slamming into it. 3. Fantasy. I'd really just be taking the SF characters, but starting it over. Alternate Universe pretty much. 4. Fantasy. Crimson, except... I'd actually write it and get past Chapter One.  |
