"Lily had a nightmare," I told him simply. "She thought you were gonna get hurt by some evil lady with weird teeth," I added. "So we're just calling to make sure nothing like that is gonna happen," I laughed and smiled at Lily.

I laughed, but quickly covered my mouth. I hated my laugh, I always snorted when I did it. "Yeah, you know..." I shrugged. "She has quite the imagination, your niece." I then added.

"I don't know," I shifted my weight, feeling a bit awkward again. I didn't really do anything. I spent most of my time just sitting. Sometimes I was on this bench, sometimes at the beach or sometimes I'd lay down in the woods. I got up only to feed. I was so boring... "What do you want to do?"

I shook my head. "Not particularly, but I'll deal," I answered with a small smile. Hm... she was actually kind of pretty for a vampire... not like it mattered. She was a vampire, and I was still dating Caroline. Well, for now. Until something went wrong; I broke up with her, or she got tired of me not hanging out with her as much, or she saw me hanging out with Kylie and Jamie and thought I was cheating on her. She had some jealousy issues.

"Oh," I frowned. "Anything I can do to help?" I had a serious problem with always trying to make people feel better, no matter what it took. I'd ignored myself for the sake of others so many times, sometimes it been so bad that I'd actually gotten ill. Suppose I didn't need to worry about that now, when I was a vampire. I just had to remember to feed.
