Angel
"I don't mind," I remarked with a sly smile, snuggling up against his chest.

Briar I turned over in this bed, in this rundown hotel room. Why was I here again...? Oh, right. It all flooded back as I became more awake. Last night, I had seen a cyborg around our base. I was sure she(i wasn't aware these were female cyborgs, but that's what it looked like) was going to report back to the Terishan. So I had fled, trying to warn everyone else--but they didn't listen. They never did listen to no sense of humor Briar. Ari I sat outside Allae's house, with my hood pulled up over my head. Just go in. No! She's going to kick you away...again. You're probably right. I rolled a piece of metal I tore from the bench I was sitting on in my hands. It wasn't shockingly cold anymore, having been warmed around in my hands for awhile. I just wished that Allae could do that; she was cold now, but she could warm up to me.

ooc: Emmy, that was some deep writing there in Ari's post. Sounded poetic. Allae"Do you still have enough blue?" Cathan asked, tilting his head in confusion. I looked down at the broken pot on the floor, and shook my head. "I'm going to have to some more." "When are you going?" "A.S.A.P." I sighed as I looked back at my unfinished canvas. The art store was only a few minutes down the road, could I trust Cathan alone for just a few minutes? He hadn't had breakfast yet, and was still in his pyjamas, meaning that I couldn't take him with me. "I won't be long, okay?" I told him, going to the door and putting on my over coat. "No answering the door, and no picking up the phone, either," I instructed, before opening the door and stepping outside. Just for good measure, I locked the entrance behind me.

Ooc: Ari has a lot of time to think AriI heard the door open then close. I stiffened, and tried to hide further, though I knew it wouldn't work. It was obvious. I just stared at the metal and hoped she was in the ignoring stage yet.

Allae
I frowned slightly in concentration as I walked off of my veranah and down the street - Cathan would be safe, right? Just walk up the road, grab the paint, and come back again; it should only take a small handful of minutes. My brother being alone for that time shouldn't kill him.

Ari When she passed me I breathed a sigh of relief. I stood up and stuck the metal in my pocket, heading the opposite direction as her. I needed to talk to the gang about something.

Tristan
"I love you, Angel," I told her with a laugh, kissing her forehead.
OOC: Why you make me like TristanxAngel? D:<

It had taken a while, but I had finally found the base of the Freedom Fighters. I might not have known if I did not make my way into the base. Hushed whispering. Couples smiling, laughing. Voices coming from what was obviously the leader's office. Planning, planning... what were they planning? I could not tell, but I remember that was not what I was here for in the first place. I managed to stay blended in until I got back outside, at which point I hid and sent the whereabouts to the Terishan, who would be sending my brothers and sisters soon to end this once and for all. Just after I sent the message, though, one of the Fighters came outside and found my hiding spot. He managed to run and shout, "Infiltration!" into the door before I snapped his neck.
Angel
I ran my fingers along his arm, smiling faintly. "I love you, too," I whispered, finishing the sentence just as an alarm started blaring. I bolted upright in the bed. "Agents of the Terishan have been sighted nearby; everyone get to their stations and arm yourselves," an automated voice announced over the loudspeakers throughout the hallways and in every room. I cursed under my breath and slid out of Tristan's bed. I knew I should definitely go and get dressed, but I couldn't just leave Tristan alone... Well, I could, he could take care of himself, but that wasn't the point!

Tristan
I stopped smiling and jumped out of bed, throwing a clean shirt on. "We'll get you a pair of clothes and head down to our station, okay?"

Angel
I just nodded, running into my own and grabbing some clothes. I changed quickly, leaving my robe and pajamas on the floor. I took a deep breath, wondering if the loudspeaker meant who I thought it did. If there were cyborgs coming here, did we really stand a chance?

Tristan
I waited until Angel was dressed and out of her room before taking her hand and running down the halls again. I didn't exactly feel like admitting that at the moment, I was a bit more worried about getting Angel to safety than to my station.

Angel
"This is way too early for an attack," I mumbled as I let Tristan drag me with him.

Tristan
"Any time's too early," I retorted sarcastically as we reached one of the weapons stations.

"But this is even worse. I'm hardly awake," I remarked, whirling around as the door to the weapons station room flew open and Tucker walked in. He wasn't part of the Freedom Fighters, but he still hung around sometimes. I guess he didn't have anywhere else to go. "You guys okay?" he asked, grabbing a gun and letting out a huge yawn.

Tristan
"I'd be more worried about how not okay those Cyborgs are gonna be when I get my hands on them," I told him with a small smirk as I took a gun.

Tucker
I grinned. "That's the spirit. Angel, maybe you should go and find someplace safe..." I remarked, arching an eyebrow at her. She picked up the gun and aimed it at my face, not saying anything. I held my hands up. "Got it, got it... I'm just saying..."

Tristan
"She can definitely handle herself," I told him with a small smirk. That much was for sure. Except that didn't mean I wasn't planning on pushing her out of the way if I even saw a Cyborg...

Tucker
"Well, I knew that. Doesn't mean she shouldn't be somewhere safe," I remarked. Angel rolled her eyes and prodded me in the side with her gun. "Shut the fuck up and get ready to fight, Tucker. We've all got this," she told me with a reassuring smile. At least, she was smiling until something sounded from the front room - something like the front door being beaten in forcefully.

Once my brothers and a few of my sisters had arrived, we headed for the front door and used our force together to knock it down, then marched inside. "Freedom Fighters, come out, come out, wherever you are," I called, scanning the room. It appeared to be empty aside from us.

Angel
I stared at Tristan in disbelief. "Obviously not," I told him stubbornly, crossing my arms. "I'm not leaving you here with Tucker. He'll get you killed." "Gee, thanks for the vote of confidence," he muttered sarcastically, shoving some ammo into his gun. "Anytime."

"Angel, please. I can keep me and Tucker from getting killed, I'll come find you as soon as they're dead or whatever the equivalent of that it is for computers," I told her reassuringly. I just wanted her to get the hell out of here.

Angel
I shook my head at Tristan. It wasn't happening. I loved Tristan, and I knew he could take care of himself, but so could I. Either way, I wasn't leaving him here. I whirled around when the door we'd come threw opened quietly, aiming my gun at whoever was there, but it was just Ben and a few others. Ben was basically our boss. Well... at least he knew what he was doing. Right? "You all okay?" he asked, clicking the door quietly shut behind them.

"Split up," I instructed my brothers and sisters. I pretended to draw a box in the air over some of them, then pointed them over to the door on the left. "Check there," I said, doing the same with two other groups, which meant I was left in the third group, checking the room on the right.
