Happy Valentine's Day! ... or not, if you're a sourpuss about all the lovey-dovey, gooey, gushy stuff. I can't really blame you about it. I'm sort of a romantic, myself, but not exactly to the extreme.
Anywho, you don't really care about that. You clicked on this thread because it said "stories", didn't you? Or because I made you click on this thread. Whatever the case may be, I shall now explain what exactly this thead is for.
Here's the deal: If you wish to participate, you'll post so below. From then on, you have a week to write a short story incorporating something very evident about Valentine's Day. Namely, the LOVE.
That's right; a love story. It doesn't even matter what kind of love; between friends, between family, between "significant others" (under that category includes even gay love; go for it. I support GAY RIGHTS, dang it!). Just LOVE.
So, if you wanna participate, here we go.
Rules
- Sign-up by posting so below.
- Once you've finished your short story, you must post it in the writing thread to count.
- Remember, you only have one week to finish it. If you don't, you won't get a medal (you may not get a medal anyways, considering how wonderful I am with code xD), so work your little butt off!
- Sign-up deadlines are 12:00AM EST February 22nd, 2011, so if you're not signed up before that, sorry about your luck, chica.
- There may be a deadline, but remember: this is for FUN! So have a blast, whether you're writing a romantic comedy sort of story, a spooky love story, or a variation of Romeo & Juliet with a (hopefully!) better outcome.
