I tried to wriggle out of Nga's grasp. "How should I know? And no, I haven't. But ask Callie."
"Oh no. Don't you two DARE bring me into this," Callie said indignantly. "I don't wanna be stranded on an island! Don't make me virtually slap the both of you."

"Hm? Oh, sorry. I just find you incredibly irresistably sexy," I told her with a grin. Honestly, I wasn't sure if I was joking or not.

"Not here right now, please leave a message." I smiled slightly at her, then turned to look around at the people everywhere. "LADY IN LABOR! COME AND HELP, DAMMIT!" I hollered. Everyone froze for a minute before doctors and nurses flocked to us and took Hamilton off somewhere. I followed them.
"You can't come, ma'am," one of the nurses said.
"Well, I am," I said.
"Are you the baby's father?"
"If I am, will you let me follow?"
She looked at me oddly. "The baby's father can come in for the birth, but that's it."
"Then, goddammn it, I'm the baby's father," I shot back.
She didn't say anything to me for the rest of the way.

He paused like he was thinking. "Do I have to - "
"No, you can be as antisocial as you want. I'll be the centerpiece and steal all the attention from you, I promise."
Jaiden chuckled a bit. "I don't know..."
"I'll rape your sister if you don't come. I'm holding her hostage."
"What, Kellan? I'll - I'll be right over," he said, and there was a click. I held the phone away and handed it back to her incredulously.
"Really? Am I really that bad? I was joking!"
Adrienne smirked. "Told you we weren't the only ones worried you'd rape someone."
