Now I've closed the poll and I've decided that we're doing Sims 3 because everyone had that in some shape or form! Now we're going to get a little serious to get this show on the road.
If you still want to participate you need to follow these steps (this is a must):
1) Read the rules. This is necessary to understand the rules and such, to keep everyone on the same level. All the rules you need can be found below.
2) Post in this thread to confirm that you still want to be a part of this!*
3) With your post, also post a trait that you think should be the "family trait" (every born-in sims will have it).
4) There are no more steps (: So it's quite easy. Three simple steps!

The Process:
I will start out with the first generation, and as soon as all of the founder's children age into YA, the heir will be voted for via an heir poll. Then, I will upload the heir for the next person to begin generation 2! (and so on and so forth, until all 10 generations are complete.)
The rules we will be playing by:
1. Try to not use any cheats. Though I, personally, think it's better to use a money cheat or lift their mood to stop the heir from dying for example. It's more fun without cheats but I'm not going to be über strict about it. Use your own judgement.
2. You must have at least two kids, because if one of them dies; we need a back-up.
3. All traits must be randomly rolled, just like a regular legacy. You may choose their Lifetime Wish.
4. No playable sims are allowed to be married into the legacy. You can marry in townies AND your simself
5. If someone drops out, the next person on the list will take their spot.
A guide on how to upload a sim as a .sim file:
**** if the sim is wearing any CC, please be sure to upload it in a .rar with the .sim file.
That way the next person can choose to download the CC they came with or not,
but at least they'd have the option.
1. Click on a mirror in-game and choose "Change Appearance".
2. In the bottom left, click on the circle with three dots. [reference picture]
3. Click on Save Sim to Bin, the picture of the folder. [reference picture]
4. Then go to My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\SavedSims. You should find a .sim file labeled with your sim's name.
5. Upload using a file sharing website. I recommend box.net.
6. Then link to it for the next person to download.
