His perception might be dead on to somethings, but I doubt he'd know a good thing if she kissed him square on the lips. I thought with a sigh. He probably already had some wench of a girl, but then I thought over his obliviousness, nah he's too into his job.

"I don't believe in luck," I replied airily. No idea why, but the guy got on my nerves. It wasn't in the way most people did either. I think it was probably the fact that he actually talked to me like he slightly cared about what I was doing that bugged me. People didn't do that.

I shrugged and started heading off to go find Dameon for someone to talk to that at least acted like they wanted to talk to me.

"Tada," I said as the guards opened the gates. "Welcome to the Ostagar Camp," I told her with a wry smile. "Terrance!" I called when I saw him. He turned and walked over, looking at Medusa warily before taking a step back. "... Right. I'll see if I can't get Dameon to show her around."
Terrance smiled weakly. "No problem. I'll go get him for you," he said, walking off once again.

Caralyn I frowned slightly, not sure why I even cared in the slightest that he left. I stepped in my tent and sat down, staring at the tarp blankly. Dameon I yawned, stepping out into the sun. Maybe I shouldn't have slept in so much... ooc: Woah, I yawned as soon as I typed that.

I shrugged. "The Circle Tower isn't fond of me taking mages whenever I like, and most of them are scared to leave the safe of the Tower. So we just pick up 'apostates' here and there."
