The bus stopped in front of the school, and I got off quickly, expecting another quiet, lonely day. I stood under the shadow of pine tree behind some benches, watching my surroundings warily.

Noah
I shrugged too. "I wouldn't trust any of you driving, though," I said with a smirk.

[Louise]

Trinity

"Oh, come on!" I frowned and crossed my arms. "I'm not that bad of a driver."

[Emmy]

Noah
"Yes. Because good drivers always run into mailboxes."

[Louise]

Trinity

"That was that one time!!"

[Emmy]

Noah
I laughed. "One time I'll never let you forget!"

[Louise]

Trinity

I frowned. "Dude, don't judge."

[Callie]

AmberLynn

I looked up when the music stopped, glaring briefly at the guy, then easing up when I realized being friendly could only be good, right? "Hey," I said, my accent shining through. I winced. So much for saying I was from the States, like I'd been planning. I mean, I'd been in the States before this family, but I was originally from England.

Hale

I grinned. "Psh. I am a perfectly good driver, thank you very much."

[Kitkat.]

Blake

I tilted my head to one side. "Ooh, Brit. T'interesting." I grinned. "I'm Blake." I said, wondering why she had been glaring. But she seemed friendly enough.

Noah
"You judge all the time." I pointed out and looked at Hale. "I still wouldn't trust you with maneuvering a large vehicle." I said with a shrug. "Walking I guess?"
Adam
I stayed kind of quiet. Noah would shut up as soon as I said something. I knew that.

[Callie]

Hale

I scoffed. "Whatever. If we're late, I blame you. Just think, the one time I'd like to be on time, and we're going to be late..."

AmberLynn

"I'm AmberLynn," I said, holding out a hand for him to shake. "Nice to meet you."

[Louise]

Trinity

I frowned. "Walking requires effort," I complained.

[Emmy]

Noah
O started to walk ahead of them. "We won't be late if you hurry up!"

[Kitkat.]

Blake

"Nice to meet you too, pretty British AmberLynn." I grinned, teasing her like I'd known her for ages.

[Louise]

Trinity

"I'm coming, I'm coming."

[Emmy]

Noah
I got so far ahead I eventually just walked backwards so I could still participate in the conversation.

[Louise]

Trinity

"Dude, you walk to fast," I complained to Noah, picking up the pace and huffing slightly. I wasn't a fan of long walks.

AmberLynn

I smirked slightly at him and reluctantly took my earphones out of my ears, dropping them in my backpack with my iPod. "So what class do you have first period?" I asked him.

Hale

"Psh. You're the slow one," I told Trinity with a grin, easily keeping up with Noah.

[Louise]

Trinity

"Psht."

[Kitkat.]

Blake

I shrugged. "I dunno. I usually follow whoever I think is in my class next when I forget my timetable." I smiled.

[Callie]

AmberLynn

I laughed and stood up, thinking I should probably go to get my timetable now. "Well, you should probably go find someone like that, then," I said, gathering my things in my arms.

Hale

"Almost there!" I exclaimed, running ahead of the others, then slowing and walking up the sidewalk to the school. There were still quite a few students in the courtyard, just talking. "We're not late!" I yelled back to Trinity, Adam, and Noah.

[Louise]

Trinity

"Good." Just then, something jumped on my back, and made me fall over. "Oof!"
"Chillax, it's just me," I heard a familiar voice say, and I stood up again, brushing myself off.
"Hi, Lizzie." I could tell that she was in her girly state today...great. Not that I didn't like her, she was usually a lot more fun when she was Liz.

Elizabeth

"Hey Trinity!" I exclaimed, giving her a huge bearhug once she was up. She was like, my best friend, and I hadn't seen her in SO long! Like what, a week? It felt as if it were an eternity.

I tapped my foot impatiently, waiting for the gang to catch up.

Noah
I walked up and stood on one side of Hale, while Adam quite obviously smiled at Lizzie and stood on the other side. I didn't know why he liked her; she seemed too...weird for him.

[Callie]

Hale

"Okay, let's go, let's go," I said, rushing up to the front door and opening it. The bell rang just as I did so.

AmberLynn

I almost dropped my supplies when the bell rang. "Um, I'll see you around," I told him before speed-walking off to the front door of the school. And I still had to find someone to give me my schedule.

[Emmy]

Noah
I bumped into someone in the rush to get in the door. (AmberLynn) "err, sorry," I said, not really sorry. I looked over at her. "Are you new or something?"

[Callie]

AmberLynn

I nodded. "Erm... could you tell me where the office is?" I asked him, my accent making itself shown once again. I gave up on trying to fit in. I'd find something to tell them if they asked.

[Emmy]

Noah
I smiled slightly. "Like the accent. Cool." I motioned for her to follow me as I walked away to the office; I had gone there so many times, I knew the path by heart.

[Callie]

Hale

I waggled my eyebrows suggestively at Noah as he walked off with some relatively hot girl. (like this: xD)

I smiled slightly. "Thanks," I said simply, following him.
