I ran a brush once through my hair and deemed it worthy. I was really hungry for some reason this morning and darted out to the kitchen to see what there was to eat.
"Give me that Lucky Charms box when you're done." I told Trinity, leaning against a counter. Dad stumbled in with a major bedhead. "I call third on the Lucky Charms."

Trinity

I gave the box to Adam, then pushed him out of the way as I ran to Dad. "Daddy!" I exclaimed, giving him a big bear hug.

[Emmy]

Adam
I poured my cereal in silence.
Chris
I laughed and hugged her back. "Mornin', kid."
Noah
I entered the kitchen clad in my dark jeans and Linkin Park shirt. I didn't know what I wanted to eat, really. Not Lucky Charms, though, that was for sure.

[Louise]

Trinity

"Your hair is a mess," I pointed out to him, shaking my head. Mum looked up from her meal, took one look at Dad, and began to laugh.

Chris
I felt my hair and found she was right. "Hey, you, shut it. I can think of times where your hair was much worse." I told Kass with a smirk.

[Louise]

Kascade

"Oh please. My hair is always sexy." I tossed my curly, brown hair over my shoulder, and smirked.

[Emmy]

"I beg to differ."
Noah
I just rolled my eyes. My parents were really gross sometimes.

Personality: Hale's a joker - 'nuff said. He enjoys practical jokes, sarcasm, jokes in general, and pranks. He's also a pretty laid-back kind of guy that doesn't exactly get angry very easily. Hale's sort of a people person, as in, he'll talk about anything he finds interesting with anyone who will listen and make the conversation interesting.
Bio: Hale's had a great life - parents that got along, no annoying younger or older siblings, and he gets most of what he asks for. Well, and neither of his parents know about his occasional drinking, though that's pretty much a given with how much he hangs out with Noah. Hale likes Adam and Noah both - he just likes Noah better by default, as Adam's got enough friends without his cousin wanting to hang out with him too. Trinity's also pretty great, in Hale's book, if only for her perverted sense of humor, which he shares.

Personality: AmberLynn is a pretty friendly girl, but she's also impulsive - you won't see her think before she says something, which often gets her into trouble. She has a pretty good hold on her temper... most of the time. She's also pretty smart; she likes to joke that she's the last of her kind - a smart blonde. AmberLynn is also a compulsive liar, and pretty sneaky... not that you'd ever know it, because she's usually really good at covering up her lies.
Bio: AmberLynn's parents died in some stupid car wreck when she was about twelve. She did not take it well, and she'd read enough books and watched enough movies to know if she didn't hide, she'd be taken away. AmberLynn managed to hide until she was fourteen, and then they caught her and took her to a foster home. She excelled in school and rarely got into trouble - when she did, she convinced the teachers that she was terribly sorry - but home was a different school. AmberLynn was simply too much for her foster parents. The most she stayed at one set of parents was for six months, and then her foster mother died of cancer, while her foster father drunk himself to oblivion. She loved those ones, but she was shipped off to more foster homes, never staying more than three months. And now she's stuck here.

I quickly took my shower and threw some clothes on, combed my hair as well as I could, and headed out to the kitchen. Rummaging through the cupboards, I eventually found one of those weird cereal bars that supposedly had the milk in it. Cocoa Puffs. Score. I grabbed it, put it in my pocket, and headed out the door, wondering if Dad and Mom had even left yet. Now it was just off to grab my cousins and head to school. Thankfully, they didn't live far away. I knocked on their front door when I reached it.

AmberLynn

After I'd pulled on my boots, I leaned against the wall, looking down at the floor for a moment. I didn't want breakfast. I didn't want to starve. I didn't want to go to school. I didn't feel like ditching. I was basically screwed today. I got up and headed out the door, not wishing to say goodbye to my foster parents. I got in the car that my foster mom had said I could have until I got old enough to move out. Yeah right. Like I'd be here long enough to graduate and move out. They'd start hating me soon enough.

Noah
I ended up grabbing some breakfast wrap thing in the fridge that people had obviously forgotten about. I heard a knock and smiled for once; it was probably Hale. I walked to the door, munching on my wrap. "Hey." I said when I opened it.

[Louise]

Trinity

"Ooh, I'll get it!" I exclaimed, letting go of Daddy and running to the door. I peered over Noah's shoulder and, when I saw Hale, I shook my head. "Sorry, I'm not interested in becoming a Jehovah's Witness," I told him.

[Callie]

Hale

"Morning sunshine," I said to Noah with a grin, then snapped my fingers at Trinity. "S'okay, I forgot my fliers in the Jehovah's Witness hovercraft anyways."

[Emmy]

Noah
"Right back at you, HAH." I said with a smirk.

[Louise]

Trinity

"Phew," I sighed with relief, then poked Noah in the side. "I'm so calling you sunshine now," I told him, smirking.

Noah
I whirled around to face Trinity. "You better not."

[Louise]

Trinity

"Oh, I can and I will."

[Callie]

Hale

"Dude, that's my nickname for him," I complained. "Taking that and calling him 'sunshine' is like... like... castration," I said, making a face.

[Louise]

Trinity

I mimicked his facial expression. "Whatever."

[Emmy]

Noah
"I'm pretty sure sunshine is bright." I pointed out. "I am not a bright person."

[Louise]

Trinity

"That makes the nickname all the more appropriate." I stuck my tounge out at my brother.

[Emmy]

Noah
I sighed and put my head in my hand. "Hopeless. You guys are hopeless."

[Louise]

Trinity

"Whatever." I turned to Hale. "Can we go yet?"

[Callie]

Hale

"I was waiting for you guys. Get the doom and gloom twin of sunshine over here and we'lll take off."

[Louise]

Trinity

"Okay." I walked back into the kitchen, and, once I saw Adam, tugged on his arm. "We're going," I told him.

The bus ride was lonely. Of course, it always was. I cursed inside my hide; I'd never wanted to be this...mysterious. Outcast. Weird. I wanted to be normal. But of course, there were so many factors that kept that from happening...

"Obviously," I said wit a smirk, setting my empty cereal bowl on the counter.
Noah
I yawned and shook my head to shake the sleep off.

I dragged Adam towards the door. "Okay, we're good to go!" I declared, clapping my hands together. Lizzie was recently on a trip to Florida for some reason, and today would be her first day back in about a week. I was so excited to see her.

Hale

I laughed. "So are we driving or walking?

I reached the school relatively early - apparently there was a first time for everyone. I sat down at one of the benches and put my headphones in as the other earlybirds read books or played video games. Only nerds got here early, apparently? Well, it wasn't like I wasn't one. But I was just going to coast at this school. I'd get all Bs, even though if I tried, I could probably get 100s in all my classes. I wasn't a genius or anything; I just paid attention.

I shrugged. "Dunno, don't care."

Blake

I reached the school, and some new girl (AmberLynn) was sat alone. "Heya, pretty lady." I grinned, not waiting to be asked to sit down before I conspicuously fell next to her. I turned the song off, wondering about how she'd take it.
