"Why not?" I asked, raising an eyebrow. God, why did I feel like I'd still lost my friend, even if he was in front of me?

"... Holly didn't tell you what went down in there? Why I had to leave?" I asked, raising an eyebrow at Bri.

I shrugged. "True enough. I suppose that's what every band hopes for."

"Not really," I told him and shook my head. Me and Holly had never really been that close. It wasn't that I didn't like her. I just... wasn't really the sort of person to have a BFF.

"I kind of committed murder. If it gets out that I'm back here, I don't know what'll happen," I said, shaking my head.

I made a face, "Fine, Slade it is."

I nodded, leaning back in my seat in relaxation. I let out a long, slow breath, then watched Ty for a moment. Assessing why he was being so kind to me first off, then wondering why he was bringing back all my memories.

"It so does count." I argued. "I'm the head of a record company, that's a pretty busy position."

Micah

"I was talking about how he only told you," I said and punched Silas playfully in the arm.

Slade

"Ouch," I muttered, looking at Bri. "Thanks."

Ty

"Uh... hi?" I said awkwardly when I noticed she was watching me.

I blushed and looked at my empty beer bottle. "Sorry," I mumbled."

"Where have you been anyways?" I asked Micah with a laugh.

Micah

"Eh, lurking around like a creep," I told her, getting up and wrapping my arms around her. "I'll just take it that you were interrogating my little brother and definitely not coming to the bar to get drunk or something. Because I'm making you drive home."

Ty

I shrugged and looked at my bottle, examining it. Miller Lite. I preferred Budweiser, but I guess that's what I get for not being specific. Something like that. "It's fine. I know sometimes it's hard not to stare," I said jokingly.

I wrapped my arms around him in return, smirking slightly. "Aww, I'm not allowed to get drunk now?"

Micah

"Not if you're driving me home. I hardly trust you driving when you're sober," I said jokingly, kissing her on the top of the head.

"Just because of the one time I ran into a dumpster? It came out of nowhere!" I protested, leaning against him.

I laughed nervously. "And what am I supposed to be staring at, Superstar?" Wait, I just answered my own question. Dumbass.

I shrugged. "Beats me. There aren't any flashy lights."

"Well, I'm sorry for missing the part where it jumped out from beside the building and in front of the car," I said teasingly, smirking at her.

I nodded innocently, "Those things are possessed. Besides, the car didn't get ruined that badly."

Micah

I just laughed. "Key word would be 'that'."

"Well... Eventually something'll happen that you can't live down, and then we'll be even," I decided with a grin.

Holly
"Oh." I looked down awkwardly when they started being all romantic. I was sure they expected me and Silas to be that way, too; but I would not do that again, till I was sure of myself.

I smiled nervously. "Guess not." It must beat least eight at night now. My parents would probably be wondering why I didn't come home for dinner. Or having a spaz.

"Christ, when I let you guys come over here, I didn't think you were gonna start being all mushy and stuff. I wouldn't've let you join us. This is, like... the singles area or something. Go away. Shoo," I said, pretending to wave them away.

Micah

I rolled my eyes and ruffled Silas' hair. "Alright, alright, we'll go. But only because you didn't ask nicely," I said with a small smile, letting go of Bri and walking away from Silas and Holly.

Ty

I raised an eyebrow slightly at her, but didn't say anything. She looked lost in thought.

"Now it's a lot less awkward, thanks." I said turning to the bartender and asking for something strong.

"I could tell," I said with a slight smirk, getting myself a beer too. "Aren't you underage?" I asked, mocking a disapproving voice.

"They just wanted time alone," I teased, following after Micah.

"Yup. Your point?" I asked him with a smirk.

I smirked back. "Touche. And here I was worried you'd forget me." My personality, at least. I hadn't changed. Not really.

"Yeah. I think they need it though. So I'll be a nice older brother for once," I said with a little smile.

"You missed him a lot, didn't you?" I asked, smiling sympathetically.

I shook my head slightly. "I was just wondering what time I should be heading home before my parents flip out."
