Spoiler for my First Post. xD Hola.  I’m Rose, and I’m just your average, small town Ohio girl. At times, though, it doesn’t seem like it. I’ve always felt different than everyone else, and it seems like others have noticed it, too. I’ve been taunted for my awkwardness, my appearance, and my lack of a real “figure”. Over time, those words don't just feel like insults. They feel like a definition of me. I was just that one ugly, shy girl no one wanted to talk to. But I find peace in knowing one thing: Most of the time, people don't mean what they say. They insult others in order to gain a sense of power. If you can feel good about yourself without bashing others, why wouldn't you be nicer?Now I guess it’s time for my life story. xD I was born a mere 15 years ago, in a small town I’m not going to name. I’ve lived in the country all my life, but I long for bigger and better things you can only find in the city. I’ve gone to the same school my whole life, and from the outside it seems like I have no real problems. My parents are still together, I have a loving family, a decent home, enough money for the things I need, and the intelligence to get through school easily. In my earlier years I was a happy, carefree girl who loved to talk about her day. However, once I hit junior high, I spiraled downhill. My confidence and assertiveness diminished, and I began to find myself feeling very alone in the world. The friends I had all through elementary pushed me out of the group. I felt like I wasn’t even good enough for the ones I love. Also, during that time, the problems with my dad started up. I was stressed, and a lot of the time, I just couldn’t take his attitude. We yelled at each often, and now I’m at a point where I feel that I can’t even talk to him. I hide in my room when he’s at home. At this point, though, I’ve come to realize a few things about life: -If you don’t try, you won’t get anywhere. Things aren’t handed to you. If you really give it your all, amazing things can happen. -Be yourself. You’ve heard it a million times, but start to think about what it means. There’s only one you, and dozens of people who want to get to know her/him. -What you look like does not matter. If you let your personality shine, people will be drawn to you, because everyone if beautiful in their hearts. (: Today, I feel like I’m finally happy. (: I’ve found friends with the same viewpoints and interests as me, and they’re exciting to be around. I have an amazing boyfriend, who supports me and lets me know that I can do anything I set my mind to. Things are looking up. (: “Now is the time to believe in yourself. Just because that guy wears black doesn't mean that he's an "emo". Just because that girl has her hair in a bun doesn't mean she's a "bitch". Just because that girl dresses modestly doesn't mean she's "frigid". Just because that guy wears glasses doesn't mean he's a "nerd". This society is full of too much judgement; try getting to know someone instead of stereotyping those around you, just by looks alone. You may be surprised.

I put on a thoughtful look after I kissed Crystelle, then shook my head. "Nah, you're still too young for me," I told her with a grin, spinning the bottle, which decided to land on Mona.
She laughed. "Naturally," she said with a small smirk, leaning in. It was... well, weird. And surprisingly, Mona didn't try to stick her tongue in my mouth or anything like that. She was actually behaving, like I'd told her. I shot her a surprised look, but she just smirked and spun the bottle herself. It pointed to Alejandro, which Mona seemed to have no problem with. She leaned in and kissed him, but made it actually last a bit longer than her kiss with me. That was Mona for you. Tease.
Of course, though, when Alejandro spun the bottle, it landed on Lyssa. His eyebrows raised up, but then he leaned in and kissed her. It was a quick one, but I still felt slightly jealous. And I bit my tongue. I could taste blood. Damn it.
