... on October 20th, in honor of all of the LGBT people who just couldn't take it anymore. Our society is terrible, and awareness of bullying based on sexuality needs to be raised. Purple represents Spirit on the LGBT flag, so on Oct. 20 wear purple to honor the spirits of those dead gay boys and to hope for an end to this bullying. This is why I don't say the pledge every morning. The whole "under god, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all" is completely a lie.
So please wear purple, whether you're a homophobe or you're homosexual. This needs to be stopped. |

I was talking about this at school today.
My friend, Dallas, is gay and asked me a couple of weeks ago to wear purple on October 20th. And, as a bisexual myself, I told him I would. And now, just today, one of my best friends, Mitchell, told me that he was gay as well. So I told him about October 20th. He, my friend Katelyn and I are all wearing purple that day.

I have heard something about this but I can't remember from wear. If I find anything that I own that is purple, I will wear it.  On that note, I just want to throw in a little thing here now that Chasey reminded me; October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. I'm sure all of the people diagnosed with cancer and the families who have lost someone due to cancer would appreciate it if you wore pink at least once this month. Thanks |
