I could hear movement around me, but I refused to roll back over and open my eyes. I didn't have the energy.

"... Politicians?" I asked with a laugh.
Elijah nodded, "They really are vicious. And what's that supposed to mean?"

Regan

I pursed my lips together in pretend thought, "... Why are you friends with Alexis Shay?"

[Callie]

Dice

I nodded seriously. "They really are," I said, ignoring Elijah just like he'd done to me earlier.

Christian

I shrugged. "I don't know. I wouldn't really call us friends. I mean... we hardly know each other," I said with a wry smile. "But she seems like a good person." Not that I made friends judging on if they were "good people" or not.

OOC: Stebie, I don't know what you want the doctor to say. o.O

Elijah

"Don't think you can ignore me," I told her with a smirk.

Regan

"Mm," I remarked. "Well... Just be careful with what you tell her." Alright, so maybe that wasn't completely true, but .... I'd told her a secret in first grade, and she'd told Mom. So technically it wasn't a lie...

[Callie]

Dice

"You ignored me," I said, lifting my chin up snobbishly.

Christian

I tensed slightly, but hoped it wasn't noticeable. "Why not?"

Elijah

"Please forgive me, your highness," I told her dramatically, making Alexis laugh.

Regan

I stayed silent for a moment. Shit. I should have figured he'd ask that. "Uhh, she just... She never knows when to stop talking."

[Callie]

Dice

"Hmm," I said regally. "We shall see."

Christian

I arched an eyebrow at her, but decided to change the subject. "i'll remember that," I paused. "Why don't the two of you get along, anyways?"

Alexis Shay

"You better forgive him, Dice. He could die without it," I told her with a laugh.

Regan

I stared at the ground, "She's... I don't know, her. She gets everything she wants whenever she wants it. And she acts like she doesn't even notice it. Not to mention she's too busy with her Moroi friends and parties to give a shit about people like us." I paused with a small smirk, "Not that I really mind. I like being anti-social."

[Louise]

ooc: Neither do I. O.o Soo...

Rosetta

I began to hear muffled voices, but what they were saying was foreign to me. I couldn't comprehend it... it wasn't until someone began to shake me before I opened my eyes and snapped back into focus. "wha...?" I managed to say, slowly sitting up.

[Callie]

OOC: *rings bell for classes to be over since no one's in them anyways*

Dice

I just laughed. "You're forgiven," I said to Elijah as the bell rang. "And I have somewhere to be."

Jaimie

The bell rang just as I finished my sandwich, and I made a face, thunking my head into the table. "Just two minutes of peace. Please!" I pleaded, half jokingly.

Christian

"So her talking to me was a complete illusion of my mind and didn't actually happen," I concluded with a smirk. "Personally, I don't think either of you are that bad... but, in all honesty, I'm not that social either."

Damon

I leaned forward in my seat, eyeing Rosetta worriedly. "You okay?" I asked gently.

[Ashley (;]

Elijah

"See you around, then," I told her with a wave.
Alexis gave her a hug, "I can't believe you're leaving me alone with Elijah!"

Trent

"And I thought being an instructor meant free perks. There's nothing free about it," I muttered.

Regan

I smirked slightly, realizing I probably should have thought that one through. "Well, thanks." He was more like me if I thought about it. That competitive streak in me was already threatening to come out and show Alexis Shay she couldn't have everything she wanted, though maybe she didn't even want him...

[Callie]

Dice

I laughed and hugged her back. "Sorry. Duty calls."

Jaimie

"At least I can use the excuse that I'm not sure if the Moroi's ready for what I've got in store for her to cover my ass and let me off early," I declared, standing up and heading out for my classroom.

Christian

I chuckled dryly. "No problem." I put my arm behind my head and stretched out on the ground, looking up at the sky.

Alexis Shay

"It's okay, I have to get away from class before the teacher knows I was lying," I told them both with a wave before taking off for the courtyard.

Elijah

"I see how it is!" I called after her. "Leave me alone to myself."

Trent

"And then we have free time?" I asked with a grin.

Regan

"What are we supposed to do after class?" I asked curiously.

ooc: *is confused* So does that mean no more classes today or they're going to the next one?

Rosetta

I thought about this for a moment. "I'm... feeling better," I eventually answered.

[Callie]

OOC: No more classes today because I'm impatient. xD

Damon

I arched an eyebrow at her. "If you say so. You don't look so good..."

Dice

I laughed and patted him on the back. "You'll be okay. Go find someone to play pool with or something," I told him, heading off for the practice room from earlier.

Jaimie

I scoffed, biting back a smile. "Can you keep it in your pants for that long, Siory?" I asked him teasingly.

Christian

I shrugged. "Whatever you want, I guess. Homework... if you're the type to actually do homework." For some reason, she didn't strike me as someone who did.

[Louise]

Rosetta

"Geez, thanks."

Elijah

"There's no one to even play pool with!" I retorted to myself.
"I'll play pool," Adrian volunteered as he appeared out of nowhere. "Are the girls playing?"
"No, they both ditched me mysteriously for 'other things'."
He smirked slightly, "Well, I'm out then."

Trent

I laughed, "Maybe. If you ask nicely."

Regan

"I think I'll pass," I remarked thoughtfully as Alexis Shay walked over with a small smile, which faded slightly when she saw me there. Served her right.

[Callie]

Damon

I grimaced. "I didn't mean it like that."

Noelle

"I'll play pool!" I exclaimed, dragging Nova with me. "It's been way too long since I have."
Nova wrenched her arm from my grasp and made a face. "You made indentations on my wrist, girly. No more World of Warcraft and clutching the computer mouse tight for you."
"Cruel."

Jaimie

I just laughed and dragged him with me. "I can't teach her all by myself."

Christian

I waved a bit to Alexis when she walked into view. "How was class?"

Adrian

"World of Warcraft?" I asked with an amused expression. "I was under the impression girls didn't play that game."

Trent

"... Can I watch?" I asked as I let her drag me along.

Alexis Shay

I smirked slightly, leaning against the wall. "Oh, a class on Element Defense. It was amazing."

[Louise]

Rosetta

"I know." The doctor cleared his throat, and I turned to him, nodding when he gently told me that he needed to take a blood test. I held out my arm and forced my eyes shut, wincing slightly when I felt the needle go through my arm. It was only a small sting, and, after a while, I opened my eyes again and calmly watched as he drew the blood out.

"Well, you know me, Adrian," I said with a grin.
Nova stared at me with wide eyes. "I was right!" she declared with a triumphant smile. "I didn't even know that you played it! For sure, I mean. You never told me."
"I did just meet you yesterday. Adrian, on the other hand, should already know this stuff."

Jaimie

"Sure, but I doubt there'll be much to see. I probably won't even let her try to advance towards me for a couple weeks. I can't hurt the kid before she's even started."

Christian

I raised my eyebrows at her and bit back a smirk. "I'm sure it went exceedingly well for you," I remarked. Actually, I had to wonder how it did go, what with her controlling that weird element and all. How did it even go on defense?

[Ashley (;]

Adrian

"Yeah, we go way back," I announced with a laugh.

Trent

"Technically you can. Then she'd stop coming for lessons and you'd have more free time," I remarked.

Regan

"I'm surprised you're not on some rampage," I remarked quietly with an amused look.
She just shot me a look, "I'm fine. Did you both seriously skip class?"

[Louise]

Rosetta

Before I knew it, the doctor had walked away again, and I turned to face Damon. "I'm going to be fine," I told him, smiling optimistically. I was definitely not feeling as ill as I had before.

[Callie]

Noelle

"Exactly." I sighed and crossed my arms. "You should remember this stuff, Adrian. It hurts my feelings when you don't," I told him with a pretend pout.

Jaimie

I shot him a look. "I think Kirova would probably fire me and then I'd have to go back to guarding Damon and Rosetta. And then I'd have less free time," I pointed out.

Christian

"Rampage?" I asked her, arching an eyebrow curiously at her. Why would Alexis Shay be on a rampage?

Damon

I smiled faintly at her. "I hope so."

[Louise]

Rosetta

"Stop worrying so much," I complained, reaching out for Damon and grabbing his hand. "I'm starting to feel better already, really!"

[Callie]

Damon

I chuckled and kissed her softly on the lips. "I'm a worrywart when it comes to you, Rose," I confessed, grinning a bit. "Haven't you noticed?"

[Louise]

Rose

"True. But I always get better in the end, right?"

[Callie]

Damon

I smiled faintly. "True enough."

[Louise]

Rosetta

"Exactly."

[Callie]

Damon

"Did they say what was wrong?" I asked her, raising my eyebrows.
