[Louise]

Rosetta

I rolled onto my stomach so I could face Damon, and smiled weakly. I hoped they could heal me, I really did. I was too afraid of hurting my husband, if I died.

[Callie]

Damon

Somehow, I managed to muster a smile back, even though I was sure it looked more like a painful grimace.

[Louise]

Rosetta

"Damon?"

[Callie]

Damon

"Hmm?"

[Louise]

Rosetta

"I love you, remember that," I managed to say, before coughing loudly.

[Callie]

Damon

I felt my eyes go wide and I shook my head. "Rosetta, don't you even think about dying. You hear me?" I asked her sharply, my voice cracking midsentence. "I love you, too," I added, looking at her desperately.

[Louise]

Rosetta

I was about to speak, but I felt a sharp pain in my stomach. I let out a small scream and then bit my lip to stop myself from wailing any louder; it felt as if someone was stabbing me repeatedly.

[Callie]

Damon

I watched, biting my lip, as they wheeled her into a room to try and help, figure out what was wrong. I sat on a chair outside the room, feeling numb.

[Louise]

Rosetta

I wasn't exactly sure what was going on, but by the time I fully comprehended everything I was hooked up to all sorts of things. I was practically covered with IV drips.

[Callie]

Schuyler

When I eventually found Dimitri, I told him to follow me, with no more explanation, then directed him to find Pru, and I would follow instead. He shot me a confused look, but did as told.

[Louise]

Schuyler

Once Dimitri had dragged Prudence away from her lunch by promising to buy her some chocolate chip cookies when he brought her back, I led them to the infirmary and knocked once on the door before walking inside.
Dimitri's eyes went wide. "Holy shit, Nee, what happened?"
Prudence just stared blankly at her sister; looking faintly scared.

Elijah

"I don't know," Adrian remarked. "But if you insist..."
I just rolled my eyes with a laugh, standing up. "Shall we go, then?"

[Louise]

Renee

"Fell down the stairs. Schuyler found me and brought me here."

[Callie]

Dice

I nodded. "We shall." I got up from the table and grabbed my tray, dumping the remainder of the food into the trash can.

Schuyler

Dimitri looked over to me, and I nodded in affirmation. He clapped me hard on the back, but I didn't flinch. "Thanks, man," he said.
I nodded again.

[Ashley (;]

Trent

"Do I even want to know what that was about?" I remarked, raising an eyebrow.

Elijah

I dumped my food in the trash, too, and left the tray on the counter. "To the feeder room," I told Dice with a smile, holding the door open for her.

Alexis Shay

I got up and got rid of my food, not really feeling like eating much of it anyways, then went to sit back down. Christian, Adrian, Noelle, and Nova were the only ones still here, being Dhamphir and all.

Adrian

I glanced around the table, trying to figure out who to hit on. Nova was my sister, so that was an obvious no, so that left Alexis Shay and Noelle. Well... Christian had said to go for the blonde one first. Okay, so it was exactly what he'd said, but he obviously meant it that way, right? "Looking gorgeous today, Alexis Shay," I told her with a grin.
She just smiled slightly, "Thanks..."

[Louise]

Renee

I pursed my lips and then sighed. I wanted out of here.

[Callie]

Nova

I rolled my eyes at Adrian. "I totally just saw that entire thought process going on inside your head."

Dimitri

"So... how, exactly, did you manage to fall down the stairs?" I asked Renee curiously.

Dice

I did a little fake curtsy. "Why, thank you."

Jaimie

I just shook my head. "No, you probably don't," I told him wearily, looking around. "But since I'm awake, I'm allowed out of here now, right?"

[Louise]

Renee

I bit my lip. Shit, do I tell them, or not? I've kept it a secret for so long, as has Mum.

[Callie]

Dimitri

I arched an eyebrow at Renee, as if to say, "Well?"

[Louise]

Renee

I sighed; I guess I'd just have to suck it up and tell them. "I was in Mum's mind. I'm bonded to her."

[Callie]

Dimitri

Pru gasped, but I just blinked a few times. "Well. I didn't see that one coming."

[Ashley (;]

Adrian

"What do you mean?" I asked her innocently. "Is there something wrong with talking to my friends?"

Alexis Shay

I glanced up, "I'm your friend now?"
"Well, of course, Lexus," he replied nonchalantly. "See, I even have a nickname for you!"

Trent

I smirked a bit, "Depends. Are you going to faint as soon as you get up again? I can only save you so many times."

[Louise]

Renee

"I've never told anyone before. I've always kept it a secret."

[Callie]

Dimitri

I sighed and put my head in my hands, sitting down in the chair next to her bed. "Well, I'm glad we know now. So... something happened to Mom and it made you black out?" I asked, making sure I had all my facts right.

Nova

I played along with the act, for his sake, but couldn't resist rolling my eyes. "Of course not, Adrian."

Jaimie

I shook my head and shot him an amused, wry smile. "In that case, if you try to save me again - though unless it was you who gave nursed me back to health while I was passed out, I don't see how you even did it in the first place - be warned that if I find out, I'll punch you in the face."

OOC: Awww. Jaimie's so affectionate.

[Louise]

Renee

"Yeah, she blacked out."

[Callie]

Dimitri

I frowned, crossing my arms as I leaned back in the chair. "What happened to her, then?"

[Louise]

Renee

"I don't know, she was vomiting blood or something. I'm pretty sure she has the same thing that killed Eloise."

[Callie]

Dimitri

Involuntarily, I let out a whimper, then almost smacked myself for it. What was that?! Now was not a time to be weak. I cleared my throat and stared at the ground. "I... what Eloise had...?" I muttered uncertainly. What if Mom...?

[Louise]

Renee

I nodded and placed the whiteboard down on my lap, then covered my eyes with my hands. I felt absolutely terrible, like I was about to break down and bawl my eyes out.
