My eyes widened in suprise. Well, that was a bombshell - my first instinct was to tell mum. Oi, apparently Dad's cheating on you, I sent to her (apparently we have some kind of telepathic bond, don't ask why).
I didn't know where she was, but I could hear her growling.

I squealed and ran to him and threw myself into his arms How is my princess? Have you been training hard?
I looked at him and nodded "Oui...ofcourse oh and Darren contacted me with the details of the ambush." I looked into his eyes and kissed him "Missed you lots."

I just stared at him, speechless. Then I sped up, heading into the room with Dice, Alexis, and those three other guys, only one of which I recognized. I sat down in one of the chairs, not looking at any of them. Dice walked over and kneeled down next to me. "Hey... things'll get better, okay?"
I peeked up at her. "How do you know?"
She just shrugged. "Isn't that how it happens in the movies?" she asked as I let a small smile that she couldn't see escape.

I listened in for a moment, then left my suitcase nearby before walked over to the duo. I grinned at the guy (Adrian). "Jeez, could your ego get any bigger?" I teased him. Don't know how it worked, but I managed to get in the school grounds again. So much for being protected, huh? This felt so nostalgic being here... back in the day, when Rosetta attended Saint Vladimir's. I wondered if she was here right now, dropping her children off.
