Ok, guys. Here's the thing. There is WAY too much drama going on on the site and the chat in general. So I've decided to close the chat. Take it off the site. Whatever you wanna call it. Don't freak out though; it'll be back Friday when I get back from school; things just need time to... cool down, I think.

I know there are a lot of us that are completely fine and everything, but then we have a bunch of other people just squabbling and such-and-such in the chatbox. I'm not naming names or anything (but I will admit I was part of a few of the arguments that was taking place there), but... yeah.

If I'm being honest, I really think this is good for all of us. Maybe we just need some time to cool down, think things through, and such. And then (hopefully), come Friday, everything will be back to normal and we can forget this whole... fiasco.

And before anyone reading this gets that vibe: this is NOT any one person's fault. I think there were a lot of us participating in arguments (serious or not), and to be honest, as I mentioned before, I was one of those people. Just the drama from all of us together or something like that is just... AGH. xD As I'm feeling bad with words today, this might've all come out wrong, but know that I don't mean any of it in a bad way, and that I really just want time for everything to blow over and get better. If it can do that.

This is exactly what we need right now - the chatbox has been way too hpstile lately. Hopefully this will solve the issue, and let people and think about their behaviour over the last couple of weeks or so.

I have been on both ends of the spectrum - I have been a downright bitch to people, yet I have also been the one mistreated. I have lost my best friend in the process, and, while the mirror of trust has been fixed, there's still cracks in the reflection (w00t Lady Gaga ). And hell, I didn't want this to happen. But it's too late now.

When the chat reopens this Friday, I suggest we all band together and make some sort of rules or something.

Honestly I think this is a great idea and although I shall miss posting to some of you, it has come very close to me lately want to shout at people and tell them not to be silly Like i said in the vent thread if arguments start on other sites they should not be continued here! Good work callie and if things continue when it comes back friday give people a warning then ban them for a week and then if the continue ban them permnantly. I hate to sound like such a Botch but im fed up of fighting too

I have to try to not yell at people, too, Jade. xD Not abusing the admin power and all that or whatever.

But to be honest, this was Emilee's idea. I was just talking to her about all the drama on the site, and she jokingly suggested that we just close the chat. And I was just sitting there like, "... That's not a bad idea. Only for a little while, though." So I decided to do it.

The only argument I think I was apart of was the Pocahontas/Avatar argument. And I thought that was just for fun, not, like, serious.
I really want to know what these arguements were about though. Can somebody fill me in?

Despite there being no chat, I still feel...unwelcome here. The lack thereof certainly didn't cool down some people, and I am still being spoken to in a rude manner. So, I don't know, but I'm not sure whether we're ready for the chat to come back yet.

Hasn't done so to me yet, and if it did, I'd blame it on the fact that my computer's unncecessarily slow right now.

And Stebie, keeping the chat away isn't going to make anyone be nicer - the most it'd do would probably get everyone ticked at me for keeping it away. I'm working on something for the moment, but chat will be back soon.
