What if you had the ability to control people's dreams? Give them good or bad ones, make their nights miserable or exciting. What if you used your motives to enhance people to feel how you want them to?

What if you could change the entire world and not even know you were?

You're born as a Wondering Weaver, when nobody is quite sure what you'll turn out to be. Weavers tend to follow in the footsteps of their parents, but sometimes they turn and do the opposite. They are trained by older Weavers in the way that they pick when they are 6 years of age, and when they hit 21, become full Weavers of their choice, and stop aging and become immortal. Everybody younger then 21 is taught by their parent(s) the type of Weaver they are to be. The child can always switch Weaver types and find a new mentor.

Races:
A Dream Weaver - A magical being that gives people who have had a hard day a nice, peaceful dream for the person's sake and for their enjoyment.

A Dark Weaver - A magical being that gives people who have too happy a life nightmares, ruining people's good sleep for their enjoyment.

A Human - The one who's dreams are tampered with.

The Dark and Dream Weavers have been battling it out for centuries, but still haven't realized that when they mess with people's dreams, they mess with the human's entire life and events. What'll happen if and when one weaver changes the entire course of humanity by changing a dream?

Weavers live in the sky and they are assigned certain people to give dreams to when they turn 21. When they give a dream, they use their hands to weave out a silky thread(like thoughts in Harry Potter) and place it in the person's mind.

Everybody has their Weaver claim a human(a Dark and Dream Weaver each share a human) to give dreams and nightmares to. That can result in battles for the two Weavers, if that is what you choose.

Personality: Very outgoing and willing to try anything. Is very studious, but a pretty decent party girl too.
Bio: Lynn is struggling with college and trying to balance her job, school, and the parties her friends constantly have her go to. She can't wait until she can finally lie down and sleep, where she meets her mystery guy in her dreams.

Personality: Pretty bitter, laughs at people's pain, pretty much the ultimate evil...you know.
Bio: She was born from two Dream Weavers, but never quite enjoyed the aspect of it. She turned into a Dark Weaver, the path she ended up taking, and loves it. She sometimes has to battle it out with the people she grew up with, but doesn't give a crap.

Personality: Sweet, joking, optimistic, gentle, caring, trusting, loyal.
Bio: Cady's always had a pretty good life, but when she turned eleven, her parents decided they weren't in love anymore, and they eventually got a divorce, causing there to be some friction about who she was going to live with. It was eventually decided that she'd be staying with her mother when her father died in a car crash. Not that there was really any competition after that. Distraught over her father's death, she resorted to music for her comfort. She enjoys singing and playing the acoustic guitar, as well as listening to music. Cady knows she needs to do something with her life, as her mother constantly tells her, but she wants to do something involving music. Maybe she could make it for others to enjoy? Because, really, what would we be without music? That's Cady's point of view, at least. Music helped her (mostly) get through her father's death, even though she feels it was her fault in the first place. He was heading to pick her up from her mother's, after all. Cady still feels that guilt, but she tries to push it to the back of her mind.

Bio: Stephanie lost her boyfriend after he committed suicide after being tortured by nightmares. She doesn't know why he killed himself, but wishes she knew. Her parents always told her he was from the wrong crowd, but she refused to leave him, because she loved him. Her parents were glad that he had kkilled himself, saying that they knew he would do it. She walked out on them a few days later, and has lived on her own since then.

Personality: kind, smiles at everybody, wants to make his life count, helpful, sometimes can be too determined.
Bio: Markos parents were dark weavers. He ran away after realising he was never going to be their perfect son, because he only wanted to make people smile. His sister refused to run away with him, and became a dark weaver like their parents. Markos never speaks to anybody about his real past, saying he was an only child and his parents died when he was young. He thinks that if anybody knew they would hate him as much as they hate the dark weavers.

Bio: Megan was bullied as a child, and now takes it out on people in their sleep. She doesn't say anything to them other than making them feel as bad as she can. She never feels regret for what she does, but keeps believing that they deserve what she is doing to them.

I collapsed on my bed after a day of hard work and late-night partying. I undressed and burrowed underneath my covers, prepared for my usual dream that I always hated waking up from. I was ready to meet my dream guy again.

Delilah
I paced back and forth across my room. Living in the Dark District sure had it's let downs, like how long it took to get to Earth and find the person I felt like terrorizing. I went to the cabinet next to my desk and rifled through my files; who deserved a nightmare tonight?

I peeked through a window, and saw someone sleeping. I smiled to myself, and blew in a dream.

I searched through the files of the humans I had been assigned. Kircy...I haven't visited her in awhile. I used my mind to conjure up a cloud bubble; Kircy showed up, and I grinned. She was having a crappy day. I closed my eyes and weaved a silky thread in my hands. Her sister is drowning...drowning in the anger Kircy has for her, and Kircy can't reach her. Her sister is submerged, screams, and doesn't come back up. When Kircy reaches her, her sister's body floats to the surface, cold and lifeless. I grinned and, being too lazy to go down to Earth, blew the thread into the cloud bubble. There. That should be a good nightmare. I'm proud of myself.

I let go of Kurans hand and started my way down to earth. I know who need a dream. I go towards Stephanie's house. It takes me an hour to get there. I stand by her window and slowly weave the silvery dram threads and send my call to heaven to send her boyfriend into her dream. I send it in and start back.

" TAHLIA!" I shout as i see my little sister go off. I run after her, The other dark weavers watching me. I scowl at them and continue down to earth

I grinned. Perfect reaction. Inside me, I knew that it was good that I gave her that nightmare; maybe she would learn to get along with her sister. But I'm not supposed to see it that way, since I'm 'evil' and all.

I tossed in bed, staring out the side window. My roommate was still out partying, and I did not want to be woken up by her coming in. I flipped to my other side and shut my eyes tight, trying to sleep.
