Huh. Looks intimidating. Okay, so honestly, I've been meaning to do this since we got the site up, I just happen to be a perpetually lazy person and haven't gotten around to it. Well, here goes.
- Be kind to your fellow members. No insults, implying their mother is a llama or any of that stuff. Not cool. Remember your proper etiquette or whatever the heck it is.
- Be respectful. If someone asks you to do something (for example, not swear because there's a parent near them), be mindful of that and do your best, or kindly explain why you can't do what they've asked.
- Be forgiving. Maybe someone's been IMing or texting for too long and they forgot that they're supposed to use proper grammar and punctuation on here (which they are, in case you didn't guess that). Politely point it out and move on with your life.
- Follow the roleplaying rules. This one doesn't really need any explaining. They're posted at the top of each roleplaying thread, so they're sort of difficult to miss... Just make sure you read and follow them, or you risk making someone angry.
- Do your best to not just randomly blow up at someone because you've had a bad day. Most of us on here are teenagers, so we have low self-esteem, and exploding at us will not help your cause at all.
- Feel free to recruit people for the site, since we're always excited about new members, but if you think they may be rude, break every rule, and spam, I wouldn't suggest it. If they even try spamming or being rude around here, they'll be banned as soon as I know, I can assure you.
- Since I can't watch everyone, if you've noticed someone repeatedly breaking the rules/guidelines (if it's only happened a few times, let it slide), please notify me by PM if you've already pointed something out and they just ignored you. I'll talk to them about it and hopefully clear things up - make sure they've actually read everything.
That's all for now (there's probably more that are in my mind, but I can't remember them at the moment), and I know I've sort of been letting things go for a while, but that's only because I didn't have any rules up beforehand. Now that they are up, and people can see them, I'll be more strict. Just because I like you guys doesn't mean I won't hesitate to ban you if I see any rules/guidelines being broken.
If you break these rules, all hell will break loose.
