I gave up waiting and got out, shoved Damon into the car, then got back in on my side. "Kidnapped, bitch," I announced with a smirk, driving off to Julian's house.

I laughed. "Aren't you always?" I teased, pulling onto Julian's road, then swerving out of the way and something bright and fast whizzed towards the car. I got out once it was gone. "What the fuck?" I muttered, looking for the source.
That was when a familiar face skateboarded over to me, rubbing the back of his head. Trace. "Sorry, Ronnie," he muttered.
"What are you doing?" I asked incredulously.
He grinned. "It's a firework."
"So you shoot it down the road at 8:30 on a Saturday morning?"
His eyes went wide. "Is it really 8:30?"

"Man," I muttered, making a note to actually bring a watch with me the next time I did something like staying up all night. Again. "I haven't slept in two days. I guess I'm not thinking straight."
"Does that mean you're thinking gay?"
"It just might." I grinned at her. "Where you going?"
"Getting Julian, then to the mall."
I made a thoughtful look. "The mall has a Starbucks. Can I tag along?" I asked her.
"If you drive in your own car and don't blow the mall up."

Trace laughed at Sapphire and I rolled my eyes at Logan before Julian opened up the door. "Morning, sunshine."
"Hey. Wake your sister up or... whatever. If we don't hurry our shit up, I'm not getting soft pretzels, and if that doesn't happen, I will not be a happy camper," I told him hurriedly.
He just rolled his eyes. "It's up to you; she won't wake up."
I sighed impatiently and ran upstairs, Julian after me. "Which door am I dramatically throwing open?" I asked him.
He gestured to a door on the right with an amused smile. "This one."
I turned the knob and threw the door open. "GOOD MORNING, WORLD! Time to wake up, because food is good for your digestive system... or something."
Kendall
I reluctantly opened my eyes to see some random chick I'd never seen before in my life and Julian at the door, holding back laughter. I sat up. "Fine, I'll get up. Just get out and let me get dressed if Julian's going to be kidnapping me."
They nodded and left the room; I could hear them going back downstairs. I put my clothes on, some perfume and deodorant, and tugged a brush through my hair. I was strangling Julian first chance I got.

I heard a door open, and then another. Kendall walked downstair, elbowed me harshly in the side, and walked outside. I massaged my side for a minute before looking up the stairs. "Hey, Dustin, you wanna come to the mall and eat food with us?"

"Nice to meet you," I said with a slightly flirtatious smile. Julian shot me an infamous "WTF?" look, which I promptly ignored, heading out the front door and back to Sapphire, Logan, and Damon. Trace was a ways away, doing a macho sort of handshake with Julian's little sister.
Kendall
I took Trace's hand in mine and pulled him to me; like one of those idiotic macho hugs you see sometimes on TV. We liked to make fun of it, Trace and I. "Morning," I said. "So... what were you doing all last night?"
He grinned, but his eyes were sort of bloodshot; to say the least, he wasn't looking his best. He looked tired. "Shooting off fireworks."
"How long's it been since you slept?" I asked him, arching an eyebrow.
Trace thought for a moment, then shrugged. "Two days."

I rolled my eyes. "Oh, please. Everyone knows that Trace can just fly," I said as Julian, Trace, and Julian's little sister joined us.
Trace nodded seriously. "True story. All I need's another firework."
"... On second thought, maybe you should ride in the car," I said with a grin. "I think you've used enough fireworks for a month."
He just shrugged.
"We'll take two cars. Julian, get your car," I instructed him. He stuck his tongue out at me, but walked off to do so.
