All coastlines are being evacuated. No one can leave their country. No one. Why?
The mers are attacking.
After nearly 2000 years of putting up with the constant polluting in their oceans, the mers are sick of this. More and more of their kind are dying. The mers and humans were meant to live in peace, and not kill each other out. There's very few mers now. But mers are always stronger than humans. They have magic and the water on their side.
All us humans are scared out of our minds. The food supplies are depleting rapidly. They don't know what to do, except to kill the remaining mers...
Who will triumph?
RULES
Mers are not the happy, magical things that are seen in The Little Mermaid. That's all I'm saying. There can be one or two with this attitude, but, please, don't make all the mers ones that think "Oh we can ALL live together PEACEFULLYYY!!!!!!!!!11!!!!
Humans are normal, like us.
The year is 3001. Feel free to make any new inventions.

Summary of The RP on our old site:
Serafina and Callie's charrie Miah are kidna interested in each other, Eve and Vaughn are dating but the mer king is not happy, and if Vaughn goes in the water he will get sucked down to the deep depths and never come back. They just got doen with Eve's party, and mostly everyone is at her house.

Bio: Serafina has always been small, for a mermaid. But don't think that makes her any less deadly. She's described as absolutely lethal, when mers are looking for an assassin to do their jobs. Serafina can't stand humans. At all. Ever since her family died from an oil spill, one that she narrowly escaped from. That's why the end of Serafina's tail is black.
Serafina can control things with a wave of her hand. Even huge things, like and airplane. But this is the only power she was born with.
Personality: doesn't dwell on anything, vengeful, troubled, lethal
Anything Else we should know: Serafina has a soft spot. If you can get to it, she might not kill you, if you're a human.

Bio: Sian is obviously a baby, but she is very smart and has a manipulative power. She can make people love her with a simple flick of her wrist. So she is bound to get out of any trouble she got into. Her weary father has to follow her around the oceans, since, he can't keep his daughter in one place. She's been showing an interest in seeing a human lately, but, her father has managed to stop her from that.
Personality: innocent, sweet, troublemaker, extremely curious
Anything Else we should know: Sian's mother died when some scientist found her and killed her.

Bio: Vaughn's daughter, Sian, is too curious for her own good. Ever since his wife died he's been having major trouble adjusting and taking care of Sian. Her power is too strong, even for him, and he ends up not punishing her for anything. It's very frustrating to him, but he's learned, quickly, that Sian is not one to be messed with when she is 'experimenting' with stuff.
He and his wife, who he prefers to not say her name, had a love that was unbreakable, no matter what they fought about. When Sian was born they were happier than ever; it took them 7 years to conceive her. It really killed Vaughn himself when she died.
As for the mer laws, Vaughn has killed humans, including the scientist who took his wife away from him. He thinks they are all evil and deserve to be punished; he also wants to protect his baby girl, the last remnants of his wife.
Personality: sad, can be persuaded easily, loving, nice

She's pretty good friends with Eve, but Ronnie...well, it's a bit rocky.
