Introduction
The kingdom of Landia is holding the party of a lifetime at the palace over the next three days. The Royal Family, keen to extend their power and eager for some fun, has invited both royalty and the ‘common folk’ to three days of good food and entertainment at the huge palace. Will your charries choose to attend? And what will happen to them if they do?
General rules
1.) I will control the King, one of his daughters and also the King’s Advisor.
2.) There are 4 members of the Royal Family of Landia: The King, his two daughters and one son. The rroyal daughters and the sons may be controlled by anyone, but if you wish to make them please send them to me via PM so I can check them over before you post. The princess should be between the ages of 16 and 18 and the Prince should be any age over 21. Thanks.
3.) If people need or ask for it, I will try and make a map later on showing the palace grounds and general layout of the city, but as there are no really rigid rules you’re quite welcome to suggest your own ideas if there’s a particular place you need for your charri or something like that.
4.) No godmodding.
5.) No perfect charries.
6.) Mean charries are welcome but please don’t be mean yourselves.
7.) I will control time and weather.
8.) Keep romance and the like to PG13 please.
9.) Your charries can be one of 8 different types of people: The Royal Family of Landia, Fellow Royals, Knights, Entertainers, Servants, Civilians, Thieves and Undesirables.
10.) I may add more rules later, if and when they are needed.

Royal Family Of Landi
Description: The Royal Family has had its share of hard times recently. Shortly after the birth of the youngest princess, the Queen died after complications which arose during labour, leaving the King to bring up their three children. He did so very well, but unfortunately last year he too began suffering from an illness, and now he has had to leave most of the day-to-day running of the kingdom to his advisor. The king often does not remember things and his mind has deteriorated to the point where simple things amuse him and anything more difficult leaves him confused and suspicious. Nevertheless, he remains a generally well-liked figure amongst his people.

Fellow Royals
Description: The city’s royal family has recognised the obvious advantage of inviting royalty from neighbouring regions and has extended invitations to any who wish to come. The King wishes his children to make good matches and hopes that there will be many possible brides and grooms to choose from amongst his fellow royals attending the party, and also sees the potential for trade agreements and the like.
Rules: Royals from neighbouring regions in attendance at the party have as much freedom as the hosts themselves. They may give orders to anybody of a lower class than them and they are under the protection of the knights during their visit. The fellow royals will be staying at the palace for as long as they wish; whether this be just for the three days the party will be taking place for or longer.

Civilians
Description: The lower classes have been invited to come and go from the palace as freely as they choose for the next three days. After that time, they will once again be punished severely for trying to enter the palace grounds without permission. Many people are delighted to have been given the chance to see how royalty live their lives, and are happily attending.
Rules: As mentioned above, civilians may only enter the palace for the next three days. If, after that time, they wish to visit the palace, they must request an audience with the King’s advisor, who will decide whether or not they are allowed to enter depending on what their reasons may be. Civilians must always behave respectfully when in the presence of royalty or knights, and if they do not they will be punished accordingly. Civilians live in the poorer areas of the city, in simple houses, and can hold simple jobs such as blacksmiths or maids.

Thieves
Description: The city has always been overrun by thieves’ guilds and one of the most organised of them all has chosen the next few days to make their move whilst the festivities are taking place. Calling themselves the Shadow Sect, they are clever, efficient and ruthless. Amongst their members are some of the most well-trained thieves in the city, and they'll stop at nothing to steal whatever they can from the palace.
Rules: No limit on the number of members (but please don’t just make all of your charries thieves ) Anybody can make their leader, and the background story of the Shadow Sect (with regards how they were set up and how they operate, etc.) is really up to you. The only real rule for this group is that no one knows they are attending the party.

Knights
Description: Of course, royalty needs protection, and that’s where the knights come in. Brave, powerful and fearless, the knights’ job is to lay down their lives for the people they serve. They will be guarding both the palace and its inhabitants closely over the next few days, and will always be on the lookout for any suspicious people trying to sneak into the palace.
Rules: Knights may always come and go from the palace as they choose. Any member of royalty can claim a knight for their own, and if this happens then that knight’s loyalty lies solely with the royal who claimed them. They will protect this royal above any other. If a member of royalty from another region claims one of the knights in the city, then that knight must leave with their royal once they decide to leave the palace for good, and return with them to their own castle. Any civilian who shows extraordinary bravery, courage or loyalty may be rewarded by being made a knight should they wish to become one, and should the King and his advisor be sufficiently pleased with them.

Servants
Description: Without those working behind the scenes to ensure everything runs smoothly, no party can go with a swing. Servants who are employed at the palace will be cooking, cleaning, serving and waiting on the royals in attendance for the length of their stay, as well as doing their usual duties for the city’s royal family. Although a servant’s life is difficult, many are happy to be working at the palace and to be amongst such splendour as others of their class don’t ever get to see such wondrous things.
Rules: Servants are little better off than civilians; the only differences are that servants live as well as work in the palace, and therefore have slightly better incomes and also the privilege of being in the palace grounds as much as they please. However, they must be respectful to royalty just like normal civilians, and the same punishments will apply should they choose to ignore this rule.

Entertainers
Description: Entertainers have been hired to provide the hosts and their guests with some enjoyment whilst they attend the party. This includes singers, dancers, musicians, jesters, magicians and storytellers. They will be paid well for any talents they can perform which are to the royals’ liking. Some entertainers come from the city whereas others have travelled far and wide to be at such an event.
Rules: In terms of freedom, entertainers are somewhere between the royals and the servants. They are allowed to move freely throughout the palace during the festivities. Once the three days of partying are up, they must speak with the King’s advisor who will decide whether or not to permanently employ the entertainer, depending on how much the king was entertained by them during the party. If the entertainer becomes permanently employed at the palace, they will be allowed to return whenever they are sent for after that, and may also speak with the king’s advisor again to ask to perform at any time.

Current Entertainers:
Undesirables
Description: The term ‘undesirables’ has been used by the king to refer to anybody with unusual, mysterious or extreme characteristics or traits, and he has ordered that the knights are to punish anybody who falls under this description if they should try to enter the palace grounds. However, as they are mostly unknown to many people, will they attempt to gatecrash the party, at risk of their own lives?
Rules: There are none, except that they are highly disliked by the King. Everything else is up to you. Vampires, werewolves, shape-shifters, witches, elves, elementals... if it’s weird and unusual, it’s okay
