"Hello?" I called quietly, opening a door in the room. A closet. I immediately shut it. Empty rooms in echoing houses with huge, empty closets were just... creepy. I laughed quietly to myself. You're at a ball with tons of people, silly. No one's going to hurt you.

Ivan

"Hello," I replied to the girl (Chelsea). I'd walked up behind her but she hadn't noticed. She was definitely on an edge.

Anthony

I made way as a women walked past me. I bowed to her and she smiled.
"No need to bow," she said to me.
"One always bows to a true lady." She laughed and rolled her eyes before continuing into another room.

[Callie]

Chelsea

I whipped around and my eyes widened, but then I really did laugh. "You scared me," I told him, smiling a bit and holding out my hand. "I'm Chelsea."

Ivan

"I apologize," I said softly even though my intention had been to scare her. "I'm Ivan Padilla. Nice to meet you, Chelsea."

[Callie]

Chelsea

"Yeah, it's no problem," I said, blushing slightly. He was beautiful. I... he was kind of like Riley. Actually, if I thought about it, I realized that the danger couldn't've been the only thing that drew Annemarie to him. He was actually pretty good-looking, too. Maybe that was it.

[Patricia]

Ivan

I smiled back at her. "Are you here alone or...?" My eyes traced down to her neck and my fangs stinged slightly but I quickly looked back into her eyes.

Eric

I held out my arm for Pam to link with and smiled when she took it, before walking into the ball room and taking our places at either side of the girl I swore I knew "Evening, I'm Eric and she's Pam."

Pam

I linked arms with Eric and we walked in beside the girl Eric had his eyes on, even I could see there was something about her I recognised. "It's rather early to be thinking about leaving isnt it?"

Nikki

I prepared myself to leave but was stopped by a couple who entered from the garden and sat either side of me and introduced themselves as Pam and Eric "Nikki. Its a pleasure to meet you both, I must agree with you it is rather early to leave but I was growing lonely." I smiled

Chelsea

"Um... I guess I'm here alone, but I'm... looking for someone," I admitted, looking at him curiously.

Ivan

"Oh? Who?" I asked and cocked my head to the side. "Maybe I can help you."

[Callie]

Chelsea

"Her name's Annemarie," I said. "Maybe you've... seen her around or something? She sort of looks like me, but just... prettier. And she's a lot more... well, she loves parties."

Ivan

I thought for a minute. "I don't seem to remember anyone that fits her description, but perhaps you should look in some of the bigger rooms. A lot of the guests seem to be drawn to them."

[Patricia]

William

As I walked through the party, I was suddenly knocked into by someone, causing me to bump into a beautiful girl. (ooc: Annemarie) "Oh, excuse me." I said, smiling down at her.

Charlotte

I silently stewed. I had put myself in prime placement in the room. I should have at least twelve men at my beck and call right now, but I didn't have so much a one.

Lilly

Finding my way through the crowd, I found an empty seat and sank into it.

Robert

Opening my mouth to agree, I was suddenly struck with the extreme desire to walk toward three people sitting together. I shook my head to rid myself of the feeling. "I..." I started, before the feeling returned in full force. I frowned. "I'm sorry, but suddenly, I think we may be going differant ways. Excuse me." I wandered toward the small group. Just before reaching them, however, I collided with a girl hiding in the shadows, and sent her sprawling at the man in the group's feet. "Oh. Sorry." I told her.

Jessamine

"Oh!" I yelled, falling on my butt right in front of the man I had just spotted. I hoped I hadn't landed on his feet.

ooc: Pam, Nikki, and Eric, meet Robert and Jessamine

Annemarie

I looked up as someone bumped into me. "Oh, it's alright," I said, smiling slightly at him. Hmm... he was pretty good-looking. Well, for a human, at least. Vampires were better-looking, but maybe I could change him. Or snack on him. No. Bad Annemarie. You don't need to do that.

Chelsea

"Right. Thanks. It was nice meeting you, Ivan," I said to him with a smile, heading for the only other door.

Pam

"No need to be sorry about anything darlings." I smirked a Eric as Nikki sat looking amused beside us both, I stood up and held out my hand for the man "I'm Pam...thats Nikki and my brother Eric." I watched as Eric bent down to help the girl up.

Eric

"Miss...Can I help?" I asked my nordic accent breaking through.

Nikki

I waved at the mention of my name....

[Patricia]

William

"I'm William." I offered.

Robert

I blinked, talking the hand offered. "R-Robert." I offered, mesmerized.

Jessamine

Oh, wow! What an amazing accent! I thought, trying not to turn into a puddle of goo. "Um, sure." I said, letting him help me. "I-I-I-I'm Jessamine." I told him shyly.

Eric

"Pleasent to meet you miss Jessamine." I bowed and kissed her hand "Please sit here instead of my feet." I smiled charmingly.

Nikki

"I'm going to dance and circulate." I smiled an Pam and Eric nodded "I'll see you later."

Pam

"Robert what a strong name." I smirked again and watched Nikki go from the corner of my eye.

Ivan

"The pleasure was mine," I said to her and smiled as she went into another room. I exited the room through another door opening and saw another gorgeous girl (Nikki). I could tell that I was going to have a lot of fun here. I bowed at her.

[Patricia]

ooc: *actual reaction to Eric: *giggles* "With pleasure!"*

Robert

"Why thank you." I said, slowly pulling myself back together. "Pam is a very beautiful name, by the way."

Jessamine

"Oh. Yes, of course." I said, blushing. He must think me incredably stupid, for babbling like this. I thought to myself, and blushed harder.

Nikki

I curtseyed and laughed "Nice to meet you sir." I looked at him and it dawned this was the young man I had nodded at across the hall earlier although he was with another young man earlier.

Pam

"Why thank you." I smiled my southern accent was most noticable when I said things i dont practice often.

Eric

Wonderful she was blushing and it made her look even more tasty. I held my hand out to her and pulled the chair forward "Sit my dear."

Robert

"Do you live nearby?" I asked, trying to keep the hope out of my voice.

Jessamine

Sitting in the chair offered to me, I smiled. "I live a few miles up the road." I told them, hoping they were my new next door neighbors or something.

[Callie]

Annemarie

"I'm Annemarie. It's lovely to meet you," I told him, smiling and glancing out the corner of my eye. What was Chelsea doing here?! She would find me and tell Mom and Dad; it would ruin everything!

Chelsea

I tried to get through the crowds of people, but eventually gave up for a while and sat down on a bench. Well, this little mission was a failure so far.
"You haven't been asked to dance yet?" a familiar voice said from beside me.
I jumped and scooted over. Riley. "No."
"Pity... She is here, you know. I've seen her," he told me, leaning back onto the wall and shutting his eyes.
"Where?" I demanded, waiting for an answer, but he stayed silent, and I huffed, frustrated.

I grinned. "It's a pleasure to meet you too, miss...?"

Nikki

"OH my god i'm so sorry...I'm Nikki." I smiled and looked at him.

Pam

"I live with my brother, we moved into a new house a few miles up the road." I smiled and looked at him "So yes nearby it is."

Eric

"Why I do believe you are our neighbour miss." I smiled knowing she wouldnt be a neighbour for long because as soon as the party was over and everything was quiet me and Pam would be gone again.

"No need to apologize, Nikki. My name is Ivan." I put my hands behind my back and smiled politely at her.

Nikki

"Care to dance sir?" I smiled at him and grinned behind me towards Pam and Eric who both brought thier heads up to smile like they knew I was looking.

[Patricia]

William

Noticing the glance, I looked in the same direction. "I do hope I'm not keeping you from anyone." I smiled.

Robert

I grinned. "A short carriage ride away is always nearby, in my opinion." I winked, hoping that was okay with her.

Jessamine

YES!!!! my mind screamed, but only my eyes showed my excitement. "It's a beautiful home. My mother once lived there. Before she met Father, of course."

Pam

"Excuse me but ladies do not leave with men they've only just met." I smiled and laughed pretending that I didnt want to drag him off and kill him.

Eric

"It haz to be sufficent...It vasn't really to mine or my sisters taste though, we may change it." I smiled and looked at her "Once its finished you should take a look."

[Patricia]

Robert

"Oh, that's not actually what I meant. I only meant that it is a short carriage ride from my house to yours. I do apoligize for the mis-wording." I bow gracfully.

Jessamine

"That sounds like a wonderful idea." I said sweetly, doing my best to control the very un-lady-like tendencies I was prone to having. Such as wanting to drag him into the woods, and let him whatever he wanted. That was quite un-lady-like of me!

Annemarie

I shook my head. "Of course not. I just thought I saw someone I knew, that's all." I smiled reassuringly.
