Stolen from Miffers on boolprop (Victorian, peepz!) A large mansion lies nestled in the woods in the country of Italy. It has been there for centuries, its white marble columns have been worn smooth as silk by the weather, all traces of the elaborate carvings and designs that once adorned them only shadows on the stone. The estate had once been circled by a plethora of rumors. There used to be tell of golden light shining out from the high glass windows at midnight. Peals of laughter could be heard long after the inhabitants of nearby towns had laid themselves down to rest. Sometimes screams drifted over on the wind, high pitched and terrifying. Eventually the superstitious countrymen all moved away. That was decades ago, there has been no one to report the lights or noises made in the dead of night. There is also a new mistress of the estate, and she has decided to indulge the world with another ball. The lights have been lit again, casting a warm golden glow onto the soft green grass. The magnificent wrought iron gates have been thrown open in anticipation of the visitors, who will be here shortly, both mortals and vampires mixing. Although only the vampires will know the difference, unless a few slayers happen to drop in. The elegant music of an orchestra is already rippling through the air from the Grand Hall where the ball will be held, played by some of the most skilled musicians available. The sun has just begun to set and some of the mortals are already arriving, their cheeks flushed and eyes bright with excitement. The other guests will be arriving once the silver moon has taken to the sky, illuminating everything in its soft glow. And what will happen tonight? Will we see the slaughter of mortals, or will the vampires have dined beforehand? What fights will break out, be it between the vampires themselves or with a few uninvited guests? Only time will tell as our evening unravels. Let us dance. You should all know the rules, but I have 2 of my own: 1. Don't bite someone without the roleplayer's consent. 2. It's become her personal mission ever since she turned eighteen. She knows Annemarie loves parties, and she's been attending every party she could find ever since then. He does what he wants, when he wants, no questions asked. He isn't much a people person, and not really one for small talk. He's also quite forward, and much more modern than other vampires. Name: Tripp Mathers Age: 21 years old Gender: Male Vampire or Mortal: Mortal Picture:  Bio: A very determined guy, Tripp became a vampire hunter two years ago, when his fiancee was taken from him. He'd known about them for a while, and he could tell they'd taken her. He doesn't know if she's been changed or killed, but he plans on at least finding her kidnappers and avenging her, even though he's mostly over her now. If Tripp doesn't think about her, it's as if she never existed. But if he does, well... okay, maybe he's not completely over her. He came to this ball solely because the current vampires he's holding won't say anything, and he plans on keeping them hostage until they spill. He's sure at least one of them knows something. ooc: You dont have to callie...Nikki is completely different although having a similar bio to peach shes brunette, the man shes betrothed to is gay and shes not ill and shes just really calculating...shes extremely smart and already knows of the existance of vampires...shes just out to prove they exist....her picture is now up and shes unclaimed.

You're dismissed." I replied, waving him off distractedly. After I finished dressing, I walked out to where my carriage awaited. "Where to, sir?" My coachman asked. "Oh, yes. Here is the address, Connor." I handed him the invitation, then settled back into the seat. ooc: William's Outfit: Charlotte"COME HERE AT ONCE!!!!" I screamed. "Yes, miss? Is sumthin' the mat'er?" my handmaid asked, rushing into the room. "I HAVE NOTHING TO WEAR, YOU STUPID GIT!!!!" I continued screaming directly in her face. "Yea, yea you do, miss." She said hurriedly. "Why, the dressmaker sent something over not 'alf a minute ago. I'll go an' fetch it from the settin' room right now!" AnnemarieI sighed softly to myself, taking in my surroundings. It was a beautiful house, of course, and it promised to be an amazing ball. I'd always loved parties, and I felt comfortable here. I couldn't help thinking about Mom, Dad, and Chelsea, though. I'd never been close to her, but lately, I'd been missing her. A lot more than Mom and Dad. I frowned to myself and walked inside. There were already a lot of people here. Maybe I was fashionably late. OOC: Annemarie's Outfit: ChelseaI slowly walked out of the house, waving to my parents and smiling warmly, until I got into the carriage. Then I took a deep breath. I was here to find Annemarie, and once that happened, I was leaving. And not coming back. I told my parents I wouldn't come back until I'd found a beau, and I didn't plan on finding one or coming back at all. I was leaving. They'd be okay. OOC: Chelsea's Outfit: RileyYuri looked after me, a frown on her face. She was wondering why I'd decided to do without the carriage, likely. I just opted to get some exercise... not that I really needed any; I had all the time in the world to get in shape. But fat vampires just weren't as attractive... okay, now I was being sarcastic to myself. I was walking because the carriage driver had always made me thirsty, and I'd sort of be stranded if I decided to take a nice bite out of his neck. NikkiI watched my step mother stumble into the living room and I frowned there was never any love between us and besides she was always drunk. I watched her for a moment and sighed as she reached out for the little envelope addressed to me on the table "Excuse me miss rude...I think you'll find that's mine." I reached over and snatched it away from her and she growled at me before leaving. I read it slowly and then smiled running into the parlour and asking the coach man to take me, he nodded and I smiled running up to my room this was my chance to use the brand new dress I owned. Ten minutes later I came down wearing the dress and gloves and was helped into the carriage by the driver who took me swiftly to the mansion. Nikki's Dress

As my charriage rolled to a smooth stop, I waited for Conner to open the door.
"We're here, sir." He said, appearing as I thought his name.
"Yes, Thank you, Conner." I replied, getting out and looking around at the people milling about.

I walked inside, slipping quietly past a young woman that looked very familiar. "Annemarie?" I asked, stopping.
The girl looked up in surprise and shook her head. "No... but she's my - you're Riley. Her boyfriend."
My eyes went wide briefly, then I shook my head as well. "I'm not," I said, starting to walk off, but she put her hand on my shoulder.
"What did you do to her?" she demanded quietly, eyes flashing.

I found myself upstairs on the balcony, looking out over the vast property. It was gorgeous and huge... just my type of place.

Picture:  Bio: When Ivan was a human he heard of the vampire clans in his city and he was immediately fascinated by their lifestyle. He searched for them and when he was 20 he found them. They were feeding on a few humans on the woods and Ivan told them about his wish, he wanted to become one of them. The leader granted his wish but only after torturing him insanely and Ivan thought they were going to leave him to die and if they would have waited a few more minutes to change him he would have died. Then they left. He laid in the woods for a few days as the transformation happened. On his first day as a vampire he was so thirsty, so weak and that was the day his younger brother, Anthony, found him. Ivan was egoistic, he thought of his own survival and he drank Anthony's blood. He was going to kill him but accidentally turned him into a vampire instead. Other: He's Anthony's older brother. Name: Anthony Padilla Age: 388 (Was turned at 18) Gender: Male. You never know what might happen. If you haven't gotten me a room, just put it in an empty room." He sighed deeply and I smiled. "I know I'm frustrating when it comes to my clothes. "Here we are, little brother!" I exclaimed and grinned widely at all the people around us. We'd headed inside a while ago and Anthony had barely said a word during the entire journey. "I believe this will be the most exciting ball in the history." I shot one of the servants a dazzling grin, she couldn't be more then 17. "I'll be right back," I told Anthony as I walked after the girl. She'd stopped dead in her tracks, looking at me with her big blue eyes. AnthonyI grabbed his arm, glaring at him. "Not now, Ivan." He scowled at me but when he turned around the girl had left. He shrugged my hand off and straightened his jacket. "You're scaring the humans away, brother. You're going to ruin all the fun." |

I continued to smile, despite her rudeness. "I'm sorry. I'm afraid that when faced with such beauty, my heart overtakes my manners. Perhaps your husband would not like you to talk to other men? Or perhaps you, like many others tonight, have come to find a husband. And if that is the case, I'm quite glad I've come over here." I told her, doing my best to be charming. "But, if you'd rather I leave, I shall hang my head in shame, and leave you, miss...I don't believe I caught you're name."

She glared and stomped on my foot, which might've hurt... if I was a human. "Tell me what you did with her! I need to know," she said, sounding almost desperate now.
I decided to try a different approach and sighed. "How did you know that my weakness is sad, beautiful women?"
This time she rolled her eyes and slapped me, walking off. I had to resist laughing at her efforts.
Chelsea
Stupid Riley. Stupid secrets. Stupid Annemarie and her love of danger. Well, she'd gotten it. Maybe. Then again, I couldn't really be sure because she disappeared off the face of the earth. I frowned when I looked around and realized I had no idea where I was. Somewhere in the house, but there was no one in here. A few chairs here and there, but other than that - empty.

Ivan"I don't think I like your attitude," I said and walked out of the hall, into another room. But not before smiling at a beautiful girl (Nikki). AnthonyI rolled my eyes at him and walked in the other direction, toward the grand entrance. I stopped as close as I could before being hit by the sun. The little I could see of the outside was beautiful.
SamanthaI waved my fan, it was warm today. I gracefully walked toward the house while looking around me on all the people. ooc: Yes of course
