I shrugged. "She's interesting. She just has a unique perspective on things," I said, nodding. "Does she scare you?" I asked him with a small smile.

"Slightly, but she has good intentions." I explained.

Haven

I laughed and grinned at him. "Like looking for nargles?" I asked playfully. "I actually might go help her... what if they are real?"

I made a face. "I made the mistake of going with her to catch them once. She kept cupping air and then showed me.."

Haven

I frowned. "Pity. A pet nargle sounds interesting..." I said thoughtfully, looking up and losing track of what was going on again. "Have you ever wondered what a cloud would taste like if we could taste them?" I asked suddenly, then blushed. "Sorry. I do that sometimes. My subconscious likes to take over."

Bio/Personality: Veronica remembers very little of the actual accident. She was playing outside when she saw a meteor land 30 meters away from her. Out of curiosity she walked closer to it and... then she blacked out. She remembers waking up at the hospital a week later and she thought that was that. She continued her life but when she was nine years old she started passing out randomly. When she was unconscious she could walk around like a ghost, she could transport herself anywhere and even hear people's thoughts. She has yet to figure out how to control her power and her parents still think she has a disease of some sort.
Powers: She can't control her power yet. She passes out and can then walk around like a ghost and be anywhere she wants.
Other: Her nickname is Roni.

Veronica

I sat at the swing, my eyes closed as I listened to everything around me. The breeze, a bird, people talking. I opened my eyes and looked around me see the people I'd heard. Huh. I didn't remember when they had come to the park.
I looked down and saw myself laying on my back in the grass. Oh great. I'd passed out. I sighed and decided to go eavesdrop, it wasn't like they could see me. I walked up and stood right next to the girl (Haven) and crossed my arms over my chest. Gosh, this power was definitely getting on my nerves.

Kenyon
I smiled a little bit. "Cambria's subconscious is in charge the entire time, so I'm used to it. But yeah, I have... wouldn't they taste kind of...well, bad?"

[Callie]

Haven

I shrugged. "I think they'd taste like cotton candy," I said lightly. "Don't they look like it?"

Veronica

These two weren't fun. I groaned and walked back to my body. "WAKE UP!" I screamed. I sat down on the grass next to myself and after the blink of an eye I woke up, looking up at the sky. "I'm back," I gasped.

Kenyon
"They look like grey and white cotton candy, yes...but clouds are just made up of water with dirt attached to the droplets, isn't it?"

Haven

I made a face at him. "Logic's no fun. You need to be more... you need to just dream more. Forget about science and biology and physics. Just think about what things would be like if... if we never learned about what things were really like," I said dazedly. "If you didn't know that clouds were made up of water with dirt attached to the droplets, wouldn't you think they might taste like cotton candy?"

I smirked a bit. "I hear that from my sister repeatedly, everyday.. but yeah, I guess it would be."

[Callie]

Haven

I grinned at him. "See?"

Kenyon
"I do not see the fun of pretending..." I saw honestly, with a shrug of my shoulders.

[Callie]

Haven

"Not pretending. Just not using logic."

"Oh, huge difference there." I said sarcastically, as Cambria came strolling back. "I see you got him to talk," she said, sounding mildly surprised.

I walked out of the doctor's office, feeling confident. He said my baby was healthy so far. That was so good...

"Haha!" I bellowed with a grin. Katie smiled back at me. "You're a great guy, Nico, nothing like your sisters or brother." My smile disappeared. "What's that supposed to mean?"

Haven

"There is!" I protested, sticking my tongue out at him and nodding at Cambria. "We're discussing clouds and if pretending and not using logic are the same thing. Did you catch any nargles?" I asked her with a smile.

Cambria
"No, fortunately. There aren't many here." I said smiling slightly. "There is a big difference, Kenyon."

"See?" I said with a smug smile. "Even Cambria agrees!"

Kenyon
"Cambria agrees with anything that has no proof," I said with a smirk. Cambria merely smiled.

Haven

I threw my hands up in frustration. "That's what I'm talking about! This whole proof thing - it's silly! Why can't you just believe?"

Kenyon
"I'm just not that type of guy." Cambria shook her head. "You really would have been that type of guy, if you weren't paralyzed." I looked down, knowing I was blushing. Leave it to Cambria to bring that up.

[Callie]

Haven

Realized dawned on me then. "So you don't believe in anything because you don't believe in God. If there really was one, He wouldn't let this happen to you. Right?"

[Emmy]

Kenyon
I looked at Cambria, then back at Haven. "Well....good try...but no. I don't believe in anything because I know it'll disappoint me, like those damn doctors."

[Callie]

Haven

"Not everything'll let you down, you know," I told him softly, then smiled a bit. "Well, I have homework to do. I'll see you guys around." I turned around and headed back home, wondering if I ever would see them again.

Kenyon
I would have kicked Cambria if I could. "Thanks much," I muttered. "You're welcome," she replied serenely, taking the back of my wheelchair to push me home.

I grabbed my backpack off the front porch and crept into the forest, leaning against my tree in the clearing to work on my chemistry homework.

Cambria
I wheeled Kenyon up the ramp and then inside. "I have places to go," I said vaguely. "Bye Ken."
Kenyon
I nodded irritably and wheeled into my room, sliding onto my bed then swinging my legs up onto it. Then I laid back and started to fall asleep.

OOC: I'm skipping ahead for a few hours for Haven because I've never had a chemistry class, so... xD

Haven

I sighed and looked at my backpack. Now that I'd done all my homework, what did I do? Well... most of my homework. For history class, I had to look up some stuff on World War II, so I slung my backpack over my shoulder and waked off to the library.

After a while when I dozed off, Mom came in to check on me, thus waking me up. Since I couldn't get back to sleep after that I gave up and lowered myself down in my chair, and wheeled off. Somewhere. Library, probably, to get my thoughts straight.
