I considered dunking her underwater, but I knew that was a bit over the top. So I wiggled an eyebrow and ducked underwater, so that my stomach was brushing the bottom of the lake. I swam up behind her quietly and grabbed her leg, pulling her under.

I let go of her leg and waved at her when she turned my way. I turned around in a whirl of bubbles and started to swim away from her, fighting back laughter so I could breathe.

I tried not to laugh when I saw him. As he began swimming I swam after him. I really needed some air but I didn't want to lose him so I tried to just keep swimming.
