Trapped in a Mansion

[Christie]

Chloe
I looked at the guy who walked up to me. "Uhh yea I am. It's only for a week right?" I smiled at him.

Jason
"Sadly, I'm assuming it is," I replied, smiling back. I must have sounded like an idiot.

Celeste

I walked up the path towards the house, stumbling slightly. I made it to the steps without an accident, which is rare for me. I walked halfway up the stares "Woahh," I said feeling off-balanced. I attempted to put my right foot down on the stair below me, missed, and fell backwards landing on my butt. "Ow," I mumbled.

Jason
Reaching the stairs, I looked up. "Ow," a girl said, falling.
"Are you all right, miss?" I asked extending my hand and pulling her to her feet.

Chloe
I laughed and turned to see who the guy was talking to. I then stopped laughing and pushed my hair behind my ear. "I'm sorry. I wasn't laughing at you.." I said hastily.

Jason
Turning to the other girl, I said, "Oh, I'm sure you weren't. It's fine." I smiled widely.

Celeste

I blushed in an embarressed manner. "I'm fine." I mumbled. I brushed off my dirty back.

Jason
"Oh, good. I was afraid you would be hurt before we even go through the door. That would so suck." I chuckled.

Chloe
I smiled at the girl. "Here," I said, handing her my mirror/brush. "It comes in handy." I smiled and laughed. "I'm Chloe by the way!"

Jason
"Chloe...I'll keep that in mind." I winked at her. "I'm Jason." Looking back at the other girl I asked, "And your name would be...?"

Celeste

I smiled. It might actually be fun here. I reached for the mirror and brush and began to comb the knots out of my hair. "I'm Celeste," I said cheerily.

Jason
"That's quite a unique name. It's nice," I commented.

Chloe
"Nice to meet you, Jason and Celeste!" I looked at the big doors in front of me. "Do you want to go inside and check it out or just admire it from the outside?"

Celeste

"It's nice to meet you guys too." The house looked beautiful, but also a little intimidating, it reminded me so much of my past. I shut my eyes and took a deep breath. "Let's go. Maybe I won't fall down the stairs this time.

Jason
I laughed lightly and followed Celeste up the steps, Chloe following behind us(I hope, anyway).

Elizabetta
Looking over at the others, I said, "Maybe we should go in the mansion now. It seems like everybody else is going in." I walked faster, Jazzy following suit.

Chloe
I followed Jason and Celeste up the stairs onto the porch. I couldn't believe that I was going to be living here for a week.

Drew
I started to walk up the sidewalk faster, seeing that people were going into the mansion. Once I got to the steps, I picked up my bags and carried them onto the porch.

Belle
I looked up from where I was sitting on the porch steps. People were starting to go inside. Thank God, since it was getting hot out. I stood up and started to get all my bags ready.

Jason
Looking around, I wrapped my fingers around the doorknob. "Here we go!" I twisted and pushed, and then the door opened. I gaped at my surroundings.

Jazzy
I walked up the steps following Liz. I took a deep breath and followed the other kids.

Adam
I walked up the steps, making shore I was the last one to arrive. I then decided to stay outside and think about what had happened earlier this week...

Elizabetta
I peered around the people standing in the doorway. My mouth dropped. It was large, modern and extravagant, not old and Victorian like the outside was. It reminded me of the Cullen house I had read about in that book Twilight, but much more beautiful and much larger. A large winding staircase was near the middle of the room, and I was in complete awe.

Jason
I whistled. "I sure hope there's enough bedrooms." I looked back at the girls. "Not that I wouldn't mind sharing. So long as it's not with Mr. Crabbypants back there." I nodded towards the emo kid.

Jazzy
I looked back at Adam."Come on guys. We have both been through a lot, now give us a break." I said to everyone.

Adam
I ran inside fast as lightning,fist raised, when I herd what that wise guy had said. I had fire in my eye, but then I remebered what eveyone had said last week. I put my fist down and walked back out side. I mumbeld "They don't know what it's like to be me." And closed the door...

Celeste

I gasped. The outside may have been similar to my parents ranch, but the inside sure wasn't. It was the most beautfiul house that i'd ever been in. I giggled at Jason. Her sure is cute. "I bet there will be enough rooms. This house is huge!" I said in my southern twang.

Dylan

I followed everyone else into the mansion. It was a pretty nice place, I had seen nicer though with Mom being the lunatic she is. I sat down on the first chair in sight and put my feet up on the table.

Elizabetta
I stayed silent. I knew it was better not to get in the middle of sterotype arguments.

Jason
"It's not that I want to be cruel or anything. He's just acting like a jerk." Pointing to the brown-haired girl the emo girl was standing next to, I said, "Did she deserve to be pushed around by him?"

Elizabetta
I blushed. Oh no, somebody using me as an example. Worse; defending me. Now I would be considered a wimp/loser.

Dylan

I watched the lameoid fight. I'd seen/been in way worse, but I'm pretty sure none of these people had. I stood up and walked over to everyone else. "Come on. Lets all get along, this is a ridiculous thing to fight over. The only reason people are getting on emo kids back, is cause he's yelling at people for now reason."

Jason
"Exactly!" I yelled. It was strange. I don't usually get mad or have a temper, but something just bugged me when I saw unfairness or unkindness.

Elizabetta
I sighed. In a quiet voice, I pleaded, "Can we please get off the subject? I'm fine. Really, it was my fault, I should have been watching where I was going." Turning around and going back outside, I spotted the emo kid on the porch. I apologized, "I truly am sorry. I also apologize for stuttering earlier and causing you to get more angry."

Jason
I bristled. I wanted to shout that she had nothing to be sorry for, but I held my tongue.

Jazzy
"Well...umm..I just..." I stumbled over my words. Then I said something I regreted as soon as I said it,"Adam's right. None of you understand us." I walked to a random room and shut the door.

Adam
I began to think of what the lawyer had said, "You Mr. Davis are going to jail." I shook with fright remebering. "No!"I yelled. "Is there anything I can do to stay out?" The lawyer spoke "Well there is one thing. There is a mantion that you stay at with other kids for a week. If you can go that long with out doing anything bad we will let you go." I sighed. I also knew I was to speak with this to nobody. I shutterd and walked in side. "Were is Jazzy?" I asked everyone.

I pointed, "That-away." I wasn't too sure I liked Jazzy or Adam. They seemed over dramatic. I'd had a hard life too. No, now I'm feeling self pitying. I'm sure their lives are a heck of a lot worse then mine. "So, how do you think we got chosen to stay here?" I asked, changing the subject.

Adam
I gulped. I wasn't telling anyone how I got here. That I knew would get me thrown in jail.

Jason
"Maybe randomly? Took a few college students from a bunch of colleges in the area, but their names in a hat and just picked. Probably picked the hardest working students, too."

Elizabetta
Seeing that he wasn't replying, I turned back around and walked back into the mansion. Catching what Jason had said, I muttered, "I'm still in my senior year of highschool." Great. Shouldn't have done that. Now they'll all see me as lower than them and unimportant.

I felt embarressed. "I'm not even in school. I finished highschool in my junior year and ranaway from home. No college for me." I blushed, they were clearly smarter then me.
