I frowned a bit and thought for a moment. "That just might work. But I couldn't visit you around her. I'm quite a bit older than you, and she'd wonder what you're doing hanging out with someone my age."

I smiled slightly, "I could just tell her you're tutoring me in Math. I'm never good at it anyways so she'd probably believe me..." No, emotions didn't get me anywhere. I had to stop. "I have to go. I'm sure AnnaBeth would want to meet you sometime." I turned around and walked off.

"Not your fault," I replied shortly.

Annabeth
"Well, the journal thing is--I was being a bitch about it." I hit enter and could just imagine him fuming at the screen or something for calling me a bitch. I smiled a little and waited for a reply.
Brett
"Brooke," I called after her gaining my senses back and running after her.

Brookelynn
"Yeah?"The dosage I was using wasn't working... I was still getting emotions, the want to use my powers. I pulled the shot out of my purse, injecting myself.

Josh
"You are NOT a bitch AnnaBeth. Stop beating yourself up about everything!"

Annabeth
Just the response I expected. ". what am i supposed to do when im tryin to find a reason for this?" Just for fun I looked up at my notifications. 9...? I didn't know I was that popular. I looked at them, and realized they were all comments about my recent status.
Brett
I fought back a gasp. "Brooke, what the hell are you doing? What is that?" I asked, taking the needle away when she pulled it back out.

I looked at him blankly, "It's just some kind of medication I was working on. It helps me control my emotions and not use my powers.

Josh
"Well then stop trying to come up with reasons for your actions. Nobody's asking you to explain yourself."

Annabeth
"i'm asking for reasons." i typed simply, and noticed that it wasn't enough to say--but I couldn't think of anythign else. I bit my lip hard and flinched when I felt the pain.
Brett
"Brooke?! Why?!" I asked, very very confused. "Emotions are not bad."

Josh
I sighed, trying to think about what to say, "That fits under the "don't beat yourself" category."

Brookelynn
"Yes, they are. At least they are to me. Now I can use my powers and not have any side effects. My baby's fine too. I made sure there'd be no side effects for it either," I replied almost monotonely.

Bella

I frowned when she left, wondering what that was all about. Then I shrugged; I'd see her again. And I'd get to actually meet Annabeth, too.

Anna

I decided that staring at the wall was no longer fun, so I got my ass off the couch and headed to a bar... again. This one had a pool table though. Eh... money would be nice. I walked over; there were already three people playing, all guys.
"Hey, do you think you could teach me to play?" I asked, putting on my most innocent look. One of the guys grinned and sidled over to me. I could tell ue was drunk.
"Sure thing, sweetheart," he said, taking one of the pool cues and teaching me how to hold it.
After I'd "learned" to play, I purposely did a bunch of bad shots, with only a few good ones. I looked around at them. "Think I can join your game?" I asked.
They exchanged looks, then the one that had "taught" me nodded.
A half hour later, they glared at me resentfully. "You hustled us!" the first one accused.
I shrugged. "Maybe, but a deal's a deal," I said with a grin, holding my hand out for the money. Grumbling, they handed it to me and walked out.

Tanner

I walkef out of the house, spotting Alicia. "What are you up to?" I asked her, hands in my pockets.

I blinked rapidly before looking up, making sure there weren't a hint of tears in my eyes. "The usual. Working on my newest plot to ward off all evil in the world," I replied sarcastically.

"But how can you be sure it doesn't hurt our baby?" I asked, still really really worried.
Ellie
When I walked back after feeding Archer, I put him in his crib and went to check on Camden. I gasped. He was gone. I felt a scream rising in my throat.

Brookelynn
I shrugged, "I've worked at Selena's lab since I was little. I know what has effects and what doesn't. Oh, so it's our baby now?" Great, I was starting to feel the emotion again. Which meant I had to be really upset right now. I fished around in my purse for another dose.

I fought back an exasperated sigh. "It's always been our baby, Brooke. But I can't help it when you're drinking at seventeen..."

Josh
I smirked, "Nope. Always."

Brookelynn
"I can't control what I'm doing after I use my powers," I told him, struggling to open the cap of the dosage.

Brett
I took the dosage from her. "I can't control what I do either, Brooke. But do you see me injecting myself with random medications?"
Annabeth
"prove it!"

Brookelynn
I stared at the ground. "No... God, I feel horrible," I muttered, deciding not to tell him I'd overdosed on way too much of it already.

Josh
"How?"

Annabeth
I was pretty cheered up by now. "find a way. your Josh."
Brett
"Did you make this medication yourself?" I asked, narrowing my eyes. "Or did you overdose?"

Josh
I grinned, "I'll be right back." I jumped out my window and ran across the street, climbing up to hers. "You have to give up sooner or later."

Brookelynn
"....Both?" I mumbled. "I need that dose, Brett. The room's spinning."

Annabeth
I jumped when I heard his voice. "Jeez, Josh. You're gonna kill yourself. Just climb in," I said smirking, putting my laptop to the side.
Brett
"That'll make it worse!" I cried, shaking my head.

Josh
I smirked and pulled myself in through the window, "See I proved I was right by not killing myself."

Brookelynn
"Well, what am I supposed to do then?" I said in an exasperated tone. I really needed to keep taking that stuff if I wanted to use my powers.

Annabeth
I made a face. "Shut up, Josh, I proved YOU wrong by not getting killed then." I shot back, looking down for a minute. "Sorry."
Brett
"You can find another way to get rid of the side effects of your powers, Brooke. But this medicine is a no."

I felt tears spilling over. I was so annoyed at myself that I, of all people, couldn't understand how to use my powers without side effects.

Josh
I grinned, trying to lighten the mood and keep her cheered up again, "Well, we're both alive. It's a tie."

I smiled. "I guess so." I looked up at him from under the big hood. "Are you getting worried about Brooke, too?"
Brett
I said nothing and hugged her close. "You're not the only one in the world with the problem, Brooke, I have it too."

I nodded, "She said she was trying some new drug medicine thing in a text."

"I'm so sorry," I cried into his shirt.

Annabeth
I exploded off my bed, standing right in front of him. "WHAT?! Crap! Did she say what it's for???"
Brett
I rocked back and forth, shushing her every once in a while. "I still love you Brooke."

Josh
"Something about letting her use her abilities without the side effects. She said it's safe."

Brookelynn
"Y-you love me?" I asked quietly.

Annabeth
I thought a moment. "Ok, I doubt it's safe. She probably made it." I bit my lip.
Brett
"Of course I do." I said smiling down at her.

Josh
I put my hand on her shoulder but jerked it back immediately, remembering that was a bad idea. "She's going to be okay. Brett will find her or something."

Brookelynn
"I... I love you too..." I murmured. I'd never told anyone that before.

I looked up at him quizzically for a minute, then looked down. "Yeah, he came by earlier looking for her." I mumbled.
Brett
I smiled a little bigger and continued to hold her close.

"Well, then she'll probably show up any minute now..."

I looked up with a smile, "I met my mom today. My real mom."
