I yawned a big one. "Kind of," I said in answer in Josh.

I frowned slightly as Brooke walked off. Something told me we should be worried. Anna was in the door of the kitchen, and she looked like we were on the same page for once.

Alicia

"Well, then... Maybe she's off to the hospital?" I suggested as Josh stood up and gave Annabeth a hug.

Brookelynn

I walked along the sidewalk outside for a while. Maybe... maybe I was just getting scared. It'd go away after a while. I could come back in a couple of days when I'd come to my senses, and everything would be fine.

Anna

"Doubtful," I remarked with a frown, arms crossed.

Alicia

"Why wouldn't she go see... the twins?" Shit, I'd already forgotten their names.

Tanner

I shrugged. "Postnatal depression?"
"Don't throw around big words that no one else knows, Tanner," Anna complained.

"She's depressed after either birth, needles, or stomachs," I decided with a solemn nod. "Kids aren't really my thing, so I don't bother with the vocabulary."

I just shrugged.

Alicia

"So what are we gonna do today? Sit around the house boringly as usual?"
"Alicia, seriously. When was the last time we ever sat around the house without leaving for some sort of drama or intervention or the like?" Josh retorted.
"Touche," I muttered.

Anna

"I think a boring day would be awesome. Shall I get out the board games?"

Josh

"Sounds like fun to me," I commented. "We could play Monopoly?"

Alicia

"Sorry Josh, but last time I checked, your superior banking skills couldn't impress a girl."

Anna

"... I was being sarcastic," I said with a smirk at Josh.
"I knew that," Tanner said knowingly.
I rolled my eyes. "Tanner, you're my twin. Obviously you knew that; shut up."
"Untrue. Most of the time I wonder what's wrong with you."
"And for that, I assure you, I am deeply offended."

Bella

I was walking around when I saw familiar face. I caught up with her and smiled faintly. "What's on your mind, Brookelynn?" I asked gently.

Josh

"... Oh," I muttered under my breath. "Alright, what do you actually want to do?"

Brookelynn

I looked up in surprise, seeing my Mom next to me. For most people that was normal, but I'd only seen her once before. "Uhh... Yesterday, I had twins..."

OOC: Do you seriously think that Bella's gonna just LET her leave Annabeth? xD

I nodded a bit. "Same thing happened to me. Only it was eighteen years ago."

Anna

I shrugged. "I doubt you'd agree. You're too much of a goody-two-shoes to underage drink."

Brookelynn

"But... I mean, I love them. They just... they don't feel like they're mine. Like they should belong to someone else," I told her uncomfortably.

Alicia

"Ooh, I'm not!" Alicia said with a grin.
Josh frowned, "You don't even drink often, and I'm not letting you go to a bar."

Bella

"Then you need to get closer to them. Spend time with them. Because they are yours. It's just... difficult to get used to the thought that you're a mother now," I said with a gentle smile.

Anna

"I'll tag along," Tanner said, getting up.
I smirked slightly at Josh. "You really think you're gonna keep Alicia from coming if she wants to?"

Brookelynn

"We turned out okay," I mumbled. Okay, that was a lie. Maybe Annabeth turned out alright, but I was a complete wreck.

Josh

I nodded with a slight laugh, "I could beat Alicia easily."
"Oh, really?" she asked, "Is that a challenge?"

Anna

"Ooh. Where's the popcorn when you need it?"

Bella

"You also had" - I made a face - "Selena."

Alicia

"I'm not going to fight you, Licia," Josh pointed out seriously.
"Oh, now you want to be sexist?" I asked, trying to push a nerve.

OOC: I could keep up the smartass Anna remarks here, but I don't feel - ah, who am I kidding, yes I do.

Anna

I glanced over to Tanner. "You don't happen to have a videocamera?"
He smiled wryly. "Let it go, Anna."

I stood there, trying unsuccessfully to stifle giggles.

Josh

"What are you laughing at?" I asked Annabeth with a smirk. "And I'm not sexist. It's called chivalry."

Brookelynn

"Well, that wasn't exactly my fault."

"Me? Nothing," I said putting on an innocent face.

[Callie]

Bella

"That you were stuck with Selena? No. That was mine. I should've come and gotten the two of you," I said, shaking my head. "But I... couldn't. I knew she could give you a much better life than I could. I've been running for too long, staying out of sight, keeping hidden."

Anna

"Haven't you ever heard that chivalry's dead, Josh? Though I do admire your nobility... or whatever you call it. You're kind of sweet." I grinned. "It's cute, in a wimpy sort of way."
"Anna," Tanner said, rolling his eyes. "Excuse her, she woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning, apparently."
"What are you on? I slept on the floor."

"Can... can I stay with you now?" I asked hopefully. Maybe that was just what I needed, to a get a second chance.

Alicia

"Hitting on your cousin's boyfriend? Awkward," I teased. Josh just blushed, not because he liked Anna or anything, but because these situations just made him uncomfortable.

Bella

I blinked. "Brooke, I..." I trailed off. I probably wanted that more than she did; I couldn't deny her that. "Willl you at least say goodbye to them?"

Anna

"I try to make things as awkward as possible," I said with a slight smirk.

Brookelynn

I stared at her in disbelief, thinking she was going to say no for sure. "I promise!" I almost squealed.

Josh

"You get the grand prize at that," I remarked.

Anna

I grinned and did a fake curtsy.

Bella

"... I... Could I meet her? Annabeth, I mean," I asked her quietly. I wanted to at least meet both of my daughters.

Brookelynn

I nodded quickly and pointed to the two story house down the street. "She's right over there. And Anna and Tanner, if you know who they are..."

Alicia

While Josh was distracted with Anna, I punched him in the stomach and ran outside. Well, that worked better than planned...

I blinked, then burst out laughing. "Owned," I managed.

I nodded a bit. "Kaylynn's kids, right?"
