"I was going to ask if you wanted to join me for a drink, but... I can see that now is not a good time," she said and blushed slightly. I swooned internally, she looked the most beautiful when she blushed.
"Yeah, sorry," I said automatically. "Bye," we both said at the same time and I watched as she left the club.

Jayden

"Nope," I said and shook my head. "I was kind of... hidden, most of the time. Because I'm Crimson, y'know."

[Callie]

Kev

I smiled slightly when I saw the look on Chrys's face. "So what happened?" I asked, ordering another beer.

Lily

"Oh. Right. That sort of puts a damper on things sometimes."

[alex]

Chrys

"Hmm?" I mumbled, my mind was clouded by pictures of her face. "What happened with what?"

Jayden

"Yeah..." I frowned. "What about you? What's your high school cliché?"

[Callie]

Lily

"Me?" I asked, then thought for a moment. "I didn't really have a cliche. I was a bookworm, but I was pretty loud - still am. And when guys pissed me off, I kicked them in the balls. Threw the occasional plate of something they called spaghetti but it wasn't at the lead football player because he was obnoxious." I shrugged.

Kev

"To make you two break up. Looks like you're not completely over her," I said nonchalantly, drinking some more of the beer.

Chrys

I shook my head. "It's not that, she just... looks way too beautiful. She used to be pretty, too, but there is just something off with her now." I shrugged. "And we broke up because I met an older guy, who I thought I loved. So I dumped her."

Jayden

I smirked. "You sound like you were a lot of fun. Except to those you kicked in the groin, though they sound like they deserved it."

Lily

I nodded vigorously. "They did."

Kev

I grimaced. "Well, that's a sucky love story if I've ever heard one."

Chrys

I grimaced too. "Yeah... I kind of fucked it up."

Jayden

I laughed and grabbed a few more pieces of chocolate. "Are you able to go back to your house later?" I asked her seriously.

[Callie]

Lily

"Hopefully," I said with a shrug. "We'll have to wait for Kev to declare it's safe, but yeah. 'Coz he still has cameras in there. I lied. But see! They're for a good cause," I told him, nodding seriously. "Not to mention I can always kick him in the groin if he tries to hurt you."

Kev

I raised my beer glass up then. "Here's to something everyone's done at one time or another... fucking something up."

Jayden

I rolled my eyes. "He'd make a good stalker." I nodded. "I think I'll be able to put up a fight, I'm not that weak." I smiled at her.

Chrys

I laughed and raised my glass. "Cheers to fucking things up!"

[Callie]

Lily

"... Can I still kick him in the balls if the need arises?"

Kev

I grinned at her and downed some of my beer.

Jayden

"If you don't want any nieces or nephews, be my guest," I said with a shrug and a smile.

Chrys

I downed my beer as well before smiling at him. "So, you gotta have an ex that stands out in the crowd. That one person that will always be special no matter what."

[Callie]

Kev

"What, me?" I asked her, drinking some more of my beer. I made a face, but not at the beer.

Lily

I made a thoughtful face. "I'll wait until after he knocks someone up."

Chrys

"Yeah," I said with a shrug. I was really curious, but I struggled not to read his mind to find out the answer.

Jayden

I laughed. "If you're thinking of Chrys, I don't think that's gonna happen anytime soon."

[Callie]

Kev

I nodded. "Yeah. Her name was Tori. She died. Car crash with her parents." I looked down and drank more of the beer; I didn't wanna think about it.

Lily

I pouted. "But I like Chrys. They better at least stay together. They don't even have to have kids."

Chrys

I frowned but said nothing. A wave of emotions from his mind had hit me like a brick wall. I took a gulp from my new beer as I felt my eyes tearing up.

Jayden

"Well if you kick him in the balls, they won't," I said with a laugh. "And I like them too, let's hope they don't fuck it up."

[Callie]

Kev

"And there's my one special person," I mumbled, shaking my head. I didn't want to relive these memories, damn it! And I didn't. I forced myself to think about one of the times Lily and I had robbed a bank, though I figured the damage had probably already been done and Chrys had seen everything.

Lily

I frowned slightly. "Kev has a tendency to fuck things up."

Jayden

"Well... They can't be so stupid that they'll fuck it up on the first date." I shrugged.

Chrys

"Right," I said as I tried to wipe away a tear. Damn, this was sad. and there was no say I could compete with a dead girlfriend. "Refill," I told the bartender quickly.

[Callie]

Kev

"Same here," I said, holding out my cup. I glanced over to Chrys and saw that she looked close to crying, if she wasn't already. "Oh..." I swore under my breath. "I'm sorry, Chrys. Cheers to fucking things up?" I asked wryly.

Lily

I shrugged. "You haven't spent much time with Kev, though, remember?"

Chrys

I glanced over to him as the bartender refilled my glass. "No, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have brought it up." I shrugged and raised my glass slightly before taking two big gulps.

Jayden

"Oh, c'mon. You're always saying that he's a flirt, he must have been on tons of dates."

[Callie]

Kev

I frowned and drank some more of my own beer once the guy refilled it. Hmm. Maybe talking about exes on the first date wasn't such a good idea.

Lily

"Yeah. But there's a reason the relationships only last so long. Kev usually fucks them up. Or they find out about the whole stealing thing. That usually scares them off, too."

Chrys

"Maybe..." I paused slightly. "Maybe we should go and check on Lily and Jayden anyway." I shrugged.

Jayden

I laughed. "Well, Chrys doesn't seemed to mind the thief thing. So, let's keep our fingers crossed that they both behave."

[Callie]

Lily

I crossed my fingers and grinned at him.

Kev

I nodded. "Sure."

[alex]

Chrys

I nodded, too, scanned his mind for a second before picking up his car keys from his pocket and walking out to the car. "You drank more than me," I explained as I got into the driver seat.

Jayden

I laughed and crossed my fingers as well.

[Callie]

Kev

"Right," I said and nodded, getting into the passenger's seat.

Lily

I grinned at him. "How 'bout that pizza, then?"

[alex]

Jayden

"Oh, right," I said and grabbed the phone. I dialed the pizza place and ordered the same pizza as before. "Now we wait," I told her as I hung up.

Chrys

I waited until he was in the car before starting it up and driving home.

[Callie]

Lily

I nodded. "Now we wait," I said in agreement.

Kev

I stayed silent on the drive home; I didn't know what to say. After all, I was pretty sure I'd fucked things up.

"Here we are," I said as we arrived to my house. I unlocked the door and stepped inside. "You alive?" I called.

Jayden

"No, we're dead," I responded and rolled my eyes.

Lily

"Only if you ask nicely and bring chocolate!"

Kev

I followed her inside and laughed at Lily and Jayden slightly.

"I actually do have chocolate--" I started but as I entered into the living room and rolled my eyes. "Which you seem to know already."
Jayden grinned foolishly. "Sorry. I have a disease."

Lily

I patted him on the back and nodded seriously at Chrys. "He does. So how'd it go?"
