I was smiling at her earlier remark but that smile fell. "Already? I mean...the party's barely getting started." I said looking down for a minute. "Can't you just call them and say you're safe?"
Brett
She was definitely not making this easy. I held my hands back, away from her stomach, and put them on her shoulders instead.

Claire
I managed to pull myself away from his lips when my cellphone started ringing. Mom. "Hello?" "Claire? I'm almost home. Are you at the house?" "Uhh, yeah..."

Brett
"You have to go home." It wasn't a question, but a statement.

Claire
I frowned as I hung up, "How am I supposed to explain to Brooke why I was out so late?" I already knew what I was going to say. I was going to play the part of little innocent sister who did something without thinking. But he didn't need to know that.

Brett
"Say you fell asleep, and I felt like I shouldn't wake you up." I told her.

[Ashley (;]

Claire
I smirked, "Then maybe I should sleep over." I pulled off my shirt and kissed him furiously again.

Brett
My eyes widened. "Claire, you're going to get in trouble. Go home." I said firmly. I tried to avert my eyes from her torso, but it wasn't working well.

Claire
I rolled my eyes, "I am not going to get in trouble. I'm Selena's only kid. Brooke and AnnaBeth aren't even hers. But apparently I'm not allowed to tell them that."

Brett
I raised an eyebrow. "They're not, huh?" I paused, looking at her neck, not further down."Well, that is a little obvious. They look nothing like Selena."

Claire
"True," I replied while I thought, "I was looking through some of my... dad's.... pictures of Crimson subjects. One of 'em looked a lot like the twins. I was thinking of sneaking in my mom's office and finding the lady's file." If it was possible to prove they were Crimson... life would be a lot easier.

Brett
"Now, don't do that." I smiled and pulled her closer.

Claire
I started to protest that I wouldn't get Josh if I didn't get rid of AnnaBeth, but Josh didn't seem to matter when he pulled me closer to him. I started kissing him again, hoping he'd stop pushing me away finally.

Brett
I couldn't keep holding the wall up. I took my own shirt off and wrapped my hands around her.

Selena
I walked into the house seeing Brookelynn and Joshua in the living room. "Where's AnnaBeth and your cousin, Alyssa?"

Josh
I tried not to laugh at the fact Selena thought Alicia's name was Alyssa. "AnnaBeth went to sleep and I'm waiting for my cousin to come home."

Selena
"Is Claire asleep, too, then?"

Anna

I shook my head. "Nah, I don't have a phone number." Then I glanced over at him and a smirk slowly made its way across my face. "Aww, are you gonna miss me, Rory?"

Tanner

I walked back to Brooke and Annabeth's house with Alicia.

"Yeah. Honestly." I said, kinda killing her sarcasm.
Brett

Anna

"Well, I'm not that fun to be around, but hey, if you wanna come along, feel free," I said with a shrug, ordering another beer to go. "Could be fun. You could meet my stupid twin and my cousins." I smirked.

Brookelynn
"Yeah, Claire's sleeping over with Josh's cousin Alicia. They really hit it off. They fell asleep really early." She raised an eyebrow, "That's odd. Claire usually stays up late. She must've been really tired." Thank God. She believed me. Until Alicia and Tanner walked in, that is.

I thought fast; I'd at least heard part of the conversation. "Sorry, I was bored and I wanted to talk to Alicia, so I went and woke her up. Claire's still asleep."

I glanced up at the clock, "Oh God, I need to get home."

Selena
I looked at them all as I took the information in. "Who are you anyways?" I asked the boy that spoke up.

"You have a twin?" I asked with a smirk. "Sure, I'll come along."
Brett
"...Okay. Do you want me to walk you home, or something...?"

"Sure, I don't exactly like the dark."

I smiled a little, and grabbed my shirt, putting it back on.

Claire
I put on my shirt and flip flops before walking to the door, "Race you there?"

Selena
I sighed, "I've had enough of you intolerable teenagers trying to pull something on me. I have a lot of work to do with Crimsons deciding to kill my Crimson Hunters so if you'll excuse me, I'll be in my room."

I pulled my sneakers on. "I'll beat you." I said grinning. "Ready...set...go!" I took off, taking the stairs three at a time.

Claire
"No fair!" I squealed, trying to run after him in heels.

Josh
"That was close," I muttered. "We should get back home. Tanner, you and Anna can stay at my house or Brooke's. Come on Licia."

In no time I had descended the stairs and was out the the sidewalk.

Claire
I gave up running in my heels and decided I would catch up to him before he got to the house.

Alicia
"Uhh, no thanks. I'd rather stay with Crimson Killer, Brooke, and AnnaBeth."

I got to the house long before she did. "Hey Brooke." I said with a smile.
