I shrugged and walked off to fill the cup with lemonade.

"Seems like a hopelessly shitty plan already," I teased, smirking back.

"See? It's already working," I told him with a grin, "Not that the comment was smartass. Just not completely hopeless. You have slight potential."

"Maybe it's a result of the combination of you and Anna," I told her with a roll of my eyes.

Alicia
I shrugged, "Guess we'll never know. Well, I'm going for a walk."

"Are you really happy right now?" I asked curiously. I certainly was.
Brett
I took a booth again and set the tray down, waving her over.
Rory
I figured since I didn't get Anna's number or anything I'd try my luck and see if she was at a bar. I walked in and immediately saw her at the pool table, where I guessed she'd just hustled or something. I smiled to myself.

"Mind if I tag along? Nothing else to do," I told her with a frown.

Anna

I frowned at the pool table, bored. Then I looked up. "Hey!" I called to that one dude. Did I ever get his name? Well, if I had, I couldn't remember it.

I waved a little and walked over. "Hi. We didn't give names last time, did we?"

I had to hold back a laugh. She seemed so happy right now. "Yes, I'm definitely happy," I told with a smile as I pulled her into my arms.

I laughed and put my head on his shoulder. "I'm gonna say it again," I whispered. "I love you."

I walked over to where Brett was and sat down.

"Fine by me. But don't make me stalking me a habit," I told him with a smirk.

"I'll do my best," I told her, rolling my eyes.

I smirked. "Y'know, I don't think we did." I stuck my hand out. "I'm Anna."

"I know, I know. Sometime's I'm just too irresistable for my own good. Just hold the applause," I told him with a grin as I hopped off the steps and walked down the sidewalk.

"Well, now that you come out and say it, you really are sort of gorgeous, Alicia," I said honestly, smirking a bit.

I turned around to see if he was kidding, "Aww, how sweet. And how much did Anna pay you to say that? Because I want in."

"Is anyone home yet?" I asked him. If someone was, I needed to get dressed.

I shook my head, "Nope, nobody's home."

I smiled and hugged him. "We can stay like this for a bit longer then."

I smiled back at her, "Good. I didn't feel like getting up. Though I guess I have to eventually since this is also Brooke's room..."

"Well. I really hope she wasn't being nosy and attached to our minds during that."

I laughed, "No, she would've come home and yelled at us by now."

After I'd finished nibbling on my fries, I looked up at Brett, "You wanna go back to the house now?"

I laughed. "Right. Anna pay me? No, that was my own mind. You can even ask her if you want." I frowned slightly at this thought; she's seriously tease me about this one.

Anna

I smirked and let go of his hand. "Nice to meet you, Rory - officially."

I smirked back. "You too. Were you hustling that pool game?" I paused, and grinned. "You look like a person who would do that."

"Yeah, probably. I know she's gonna yell at me." I frowned for a minute, but then smiled again. "Worth it."

"I think I'll save you the embarrassment. You're not so bad looking yourself," I told him with a smirk as I reached the park entrance.

"Yeah?" I asked, hands in my pockets as I grinned at her. "What'd Anna do to you to get you to say that?"

I smiled angelically at him. "Course not. I would never do that," I said innocently.

I grinned back at him, "Using my own words against me? You really are learning. Trust me, there's not enough money in the world to make me say something I don't want to."

"See? I knew I wasn't completely hopeless." I smirked. "And I never said money. Maybe she bribed you with something else. Like... I don't know what you like, so... can't really make an accurate guess, there."

"I like being allowed to use my powers," I said sarcastically as I sat on the edge of the fountain.

"Yeah, I never really felt the need to perfect the innocent smile anyway. I guess I thought my mad laughter would give it away," I said, shrugging.
