I was sitting were the rest of the gryffindors had pulled me too and we were all talking about what the differences between Bauxbaton and Hogwarts were. They each tried to tell me the rules off the house like not sitting with a slytherin, not talking to slytherins...But i kept arguing the fact that the nicest person i'd met today was from slytherin and they all laughed. I waited quietly from then on for her to come in the room.

I came in the room finally and smiled slightly at james, who was sitting alone. I took the seat next to him. "Did they laugh at you because of me? Because it's okay if you want to sit with your house," I told him seriously.

James

"Nope, Im staying right here with you....your the nicest person ive met today." I smiled and looked at the rest of my house who were all smirking wildly and putting thier thumbs up.

Cyri
I smiled again at him. "You're the nicest one I've met in my three years here. I'm not like the other Slytherins, so I stay away--the other houses ignore me, because I'm Slytherin." I shrugged. "Not that I expected much."

"Good thing we moved here then." I smiled

Cyri
I blushed a faint pink. "Yeah, good thing." I murmured, playing around with my quill.

"So muggle studies aye....intresting...I'd love to know how they get those spinny things that dry thier robes to work." I smiled

"Dryers." I said automatically. "This class is a breeze since I come from Muggles." I explained a little sheepishly.

"Dryers...right gotcha." I smiled and then chuckled "Well atleast one of us will pass with an acceptable grade in this subject then." I laughed

"I can help you here too....if you'll help me with wand stuff." I smiled mischievously.

"My wand is at your command." I smiled and pretended to bow to her

I giggled. "Thought I'd fail those classes this year because of my wand, but I guess not." I smiled at him.

"I could even get mother and father to send me some money because I've 'broke' mine and we could head to diagon alley and get you a new one...if you would like that." I smiled

My face lit up. "Really?! I'd love that!!" I said excitedly, and jumped when I heard a voice at the front of class.
Mr Carrow
"I trust you all know what we're studying today, since many of you are talking amongst yourselves?" I shot a glance at the Slytherin girl in front, and took my place at my desk.

"Sorry sir, she was just explaining what a dryer was." I smiled and then shrugged and nodded in her direction.

I nodded sincerely, and he seemed to buy it. "That is what we are talking about today," he said in a booming voice. "The Muggle washers and dryers." I turned to James and mouthed 'thank you'.

I smiled and mouthed back "No problem batman." I smiled and then looked at the tutor and grinned.

OOC: I want Yuna to be friends with James and Cyri. xD

I frowned. "Thanks, Nick." Then I rushed down the hall to get to Ianto.

"Oh, sure, just leave me here," I called after him, rolling my eyes. I decided I should probably get to class before I got yelled at. I was already five minutes late for Muggle Studies, though, so I took my sweet time getting there.

I had to force myself to not giggle; my little brother was obsessed with Batman. I shot a glance at the teacher who was now drawing a washer and dryer on the board, very badly i might add.

Personality: Out going, Hyper, Brave, Witty, Lacking commen sense (gullable (sp?)

Background/History: Serafina grew up as an only child in a wizarding family, making her a pureblood. Her family is one that could be considered a blood-traitor family, one of the worst in all of the wizarding world. (Only after the Weasly family.) Needless to say, Serafina and her family spent a lot of time moving around to avoid Voldemort's wrath.
House: Gryffindor

ooc: Its basically its the start of the new year and its monday and first lesson...you dont really need much of a catch up....but if you want one the one that emmy got is about four pages away i think

"No problem...I'll rally the rest of the ghosts to find fergie...shes always been nice to us all." I smiled and left.

"God i wouldnt want to use one of them....they arent even made straight." I commented rather loudly

I chuckled, but fought to keep a straight face as Carrow turned around. "And I trust you can draw them better, Mr Rocwell."

"Dunno sir never tried to draw them before have I." I smiled cheekily

Mr Carrow
"That's what I thought." I looked at the girl next to him. "Would you be able to draw them any better, Miss Winslow?"
Cyri
I froze, the smile gone from my face. "Umm.." Mr Carrow smiled, walked up to my desk and gave me the chalk. "Go ahead, Miss Winslow." I blinked, and got up, erasing his drawing.

I looked at her back apologetically and sighed muttering to myself "I could have tried."

I immediately started drawing something that was pretty close to the picture in our book, and when I was done, I handed the chalk back to Mr Carrow and sat down.
Mr Carrow
"Ah, we have an artist in the class, do we?" I said, a bit angry at being proved wrong, then I went to explain how they worked more.

I slid some parchment out and wrote on it *Sorry....Forgive me....I'll buy you extra when we go shopping for your new wand! x"

I smiled at his note and started to write back. No, no, it's fine--nice to prove a teacher wrong

"I was just a little worried about it then." I whispered quietly and smiled as I noticed a slytherin older girl come in.

Marina

"Mr. Carrow sir...." I smiled wide and saw the recognition in his eyes..."I was just wondering Miss Malfoy hasnt turned up to teach dark arts and I was wondering if you were able to help us out..." I turned an looked around the room, I could feel dark magic emmitting from somewhere in the room.

"Ah, um, if by help you mean find Miss Malfoy, I'm not sure where she is..."

I watched the girl--I'd seen her in the common room before, many times. Still didn't know what her name was, though.
