"This nice little club I know about. Supernatural people only. Just kidding. Usually it's just a bunch of sluts and drunks, but sometimes a few vampires or werewolves show up." I didn't mention that it was never at the same time and never together; I figured part of her already knew that.

"You don't look too sure about that," I remarked, glancing behind at her at some guy that was looking her over like some piece of me and narrowed my eyes. Then they returned back to normal and I almost laughed at the irony. Like she could be a piece of meat to him, anyway; she could suck him dry of blood and then it wouldn't really matter.
