I smiled slightly but I turned serious in an instant. "There's problems on Cloral, Sade. You are needed; Come." I led the way back to the flume, where Jake was waiting.

[Callie]

Sade

I ran inside and hugged Fang for a moment. "Be safe," I said, looking up at her sternly.
She smiled. "I'm more worried about you." Fang broke our hug and waved at me. "Go save the world, kid. I'm counting on you."
I nodded and swallowed the nervous feeling in my throat, then ran back after Joe, leaving my staff at home. No doubt I'd need it when I came back home.

Jake
I looked at the new girl. Well, okay, more like stared. She was fairly hot, but I knew that she was tough. Uncle Joe yelled, "Quillan!" and the thing started music again and glowed. "What is this called?" I asked him, tired of all the question but no answers.
"A flume." Finally, a straight up answer.

[Callie]

Sade

"What about Cloral?" I asked, taking a deep breath for the flume ride.

Jake
"We have to pick up more people; you and Jake can't do it alone, even with Raiden giving you the background information..." Joe answered. I just listened now, still sneaking glances at the girl.

"Right," I said simply, keeping my eyes shut. Flume rides always made me dizzy. I'd already looked at the boy who I assumed was Jake. He didn't look very strong. Perhaps he was like the Rokador - smart, but not strong?
