Hale

"Didn't think so. Lead the way. I'll follow you around... unless you're gonna shoo me away, of course?" I said, arching an eyebrow at him.

OOC: They should totally go to the park. *cough*

ooc: xD sure.
Noah
I shrugged. "If you get annoying, I might." I started to walk out of the alley and headed toward the park, wondering why I was anyway.

[Callie]

OOC: Well, AmberLynn's randomly chilling on a park bench, so...

Hale

"Thanks," I said, following him and laughing a bit.

[Emmy]

Noah
I stared down at the ground as I walked. I was pretty awkward in social situations; but it was uncommon with Hale. I just didn't know what to say anymore. When we reached the park I looked back at him for some comment I knew he'd give.

[Callie]

Hale

I held my hands up innocently. "Hey, I wasn't even leading this time."

[Emmy]

Noah
I just smiled slightly and scanned the benches for an empty one. I passed over one and did a double take--AmberLynn. Well of course. Life wasn't done with me yet.

[Callie]

Hale

I smiled slyly at the back of his head. "You gonna go talk to her?" She looked pretty absorbed in that... scrapbook?... though.

[Emmy]

Noah
I turned around quickly so she wouldn't see my face. "No."

[Louise]

Hale

I arched an eyebrow at him. "Why not? Since when are you scared of the new girl?"

Ooc: Well Trinity and Jon were at lunch....*shrug* dunno xD

I gritted my teeth together. "I'm not. I..." I drifted off, unable to say what I wanted to. She deserves better.

Hale

I just raised an eyebrow at him, waiting for him to continue.

"I'm not ready for a girlfriend." I finished, lying.

Hale

"Uh huh," I said sarcastically. "Whatever, dude. At the very least, you could stand to make a new friend. Isn't not having to put up with me all the time worth it?"

I smirked. "That would but nice, but she's just as bad as you are."

[Callie]

Hale

I stuck my tongue out at him. "I didn't think she was... then again, I don't usually think I'm annoying either."

"Oh believe me dude, you are."

[Callie]

Hale

"So you've said," I said with a small smirk. "I still think you should go talk to her. You know I'm gonna bug you about it until you do."

Noah
"The let the ignoring commence."

[Callie]

Hale

I shot him an annoyed look... then got an idea. I reached into his pocket and pulled out his cigarettes, running away from him so he couldn't snatch them back. Then I looked at him with the most innocent look I could possibly pull.

Noah
"Are you kidding me?!" I shot him a 'i'll kill you later' look and walked over to Amber Lynn. "Uh...hi, again," I said awkwardly.

[Callie]

AmberLynn

I glanced up to see Noah, and the scrapbook fell off my lap. I quickly reached down and snapped it shut, shoving it into my bag. "Hi," I said. "What brings you to the park?" It wasn't like he seemed like the type to skip school to go to the park.

[Emmy]

Noah
"The annoying bastard over there brought me here, and to top it off stole my cigarettes." I smirked, pointing at Hale.

[Callie]

AmberLynn

I laughed. "Why don't you steal them back?"

[Emmy]

Noah
"Hmm.." I said, and murmured something under my breath and snapped my fingers. I checked my pocket; yup, they were in there again. "Magic rocks," I said with a grin.

[Callie]

AmberLynn

I grinned at him. "See? And now you can leave the park. Can you feel the freedom?"
Hale was looking from his hand to Noah and back to his hand, then back to Noah. It was actually quite comical.

Noah
I laughed and grinned at Hale. "What now?" I yelled, and I turned back to AmberLynn. "Yes, and the freedom feels awesome."

Hale

I muttered a spell under my breath, too, so the cigarettes were in my own pocket instead, then jogged over to Noah and New Girl, figuring that Noah might need a wingman. Er... friend. Having a friend always helped to make a friend, right? Ah, who was I kidding? I wasn't even fooling Noah in thinking I wanted them to just be friends. But hey, a girlfriend might lift the guy out of the dumps sometime. I waved at New Girl when I reached the two of them, and she waved politely back.

I rolled my eyes, but smirked when he came over. "hale, this is AmberLynn, AmberLynn, Hale." I introduced, reaching into my pocket but finding nothing there. I glared at Hale susipciously.
