Renee

I got out of the bed and briskly walked over, before hugging him tightly. "Thank you," I said, looking up at Schuyler and smiling, "for helping me."

Trent

I grinned, "Please, Baker. You don't have to die to get me to kiss you."

Elijah

"Element Specialization," I muttered. I already learned how to use my powers for offense, why did I need to relearn the basics of defense?

Alexis Shay

I frowned to myself, "I wonder how much power he had to use to even do that... What do you think would've happened to him if your mom wasn't there?"

[Callie]

Jaimie

"That's reassuring."

Dice

I snorted. "I guess I'm stalking you to your next class, then."

Christian

"He would've completely lost it," I said bluntly.

[Ashley (;]

Trent

"Don't worry, you can pay me back for saving you later," I told her with a wink, opening up the doors to the lunchroom.

Elijah

I laughed, "Not like I mind. You're one of the coolest people I've met here."

Alexis Shay

I pressed my lips together silently, just staring at the book. None of the people involved with Spirit had happy endings. They all died or went insane or something! After a few moments, I shoved the book I was holding back into the box. "I don't want to read anymore. Not right now," I whispered.

Jaimie

I just rolled my eyes at him and went to grab something to eat.

Dice

"I'm flattered. Just remember - I know that you've only met like five people here so far." I grinned.

Christian

I looked up from the pages, and my face fell. I shut my own book and just looked at her, frowning slightly. "I'm sorry, Alexis. I didn't... I didn't think."

Elijah

I grinned back at her, "Alright, I'll be sure to let you know after I've met a bunch of not-as-cool people."

Alexis Shay

"It's fine," I murmured, keeping my eyes on the floor.

[Callie]

Dice

I inclined my head towards him. "Much obliged."

Christian

"No, it's not. I basically just gave you a death sentence, and I have no right to tell you how your life will go. We don't even know for sure if it'll be that way for you."

[Louise]

Adrian

I laughed, opening up the door to class. "So what can you do with your powers?"

Alexis Shay

I couldn't help but smile a bit, wrapping my arms around him in a hug. "Thanks, Christian."

[Callie]

OOC: Dammit, I thought I did.

Schuyler

I froze slightly, not having expected that. "... No problem."
Then the door burst open and Dimitri charged in. "Renee, are you - ohhh. I see," he said with a sly smile.

Dice

"I'm a pyromaniac. I can set things on fire," I said with a laugh.

Christian

I awkwardly patted her on the back; hugs weren't exactly something I was used to getting often. "You're... welcome?"

Elijah

"It's like we're destined to be archenemies!" I teased dramatically as I took a seat.

Alexis Shay

I pulled away, sticking my tongue out at him, "You give horrible hugs."

Dice

I arched an eyebrow at him. "Water?" I guessed.

Christian

I made a face. "I'm... sorry. I'm not used to them."

"Dimitri!" I exclaimed, letting go of Schuyler and running towards my brother. I grinned and hugged him tightly, just as I had done before.

Elijah

I nodded teasingly, "Best water user you'll ever meet."

Alexis Shay

I shot him an innocent look, "I'll have to fix that."

Dimitri

Good thing I hadn't had a drink in my hand. Or been taking one. I would've spit out the drink or dropped the glass to the floor. I hugged her back in confusion as Schuyler scratched the back of his head awkwardly. "Nee, did you just talk?!" I asked incredulously, hardly believing my ears.

Dice

I just laughed. "Well, we must be destined to be enemies. I'm the best fire user you'll ever meet," I told him with a grin.

Christian

"But... why?" I wondered aloud, shooting her a puzzled look.

[Louise]

Renee

I nodded excitedly. "Sure did! Isn't it awesome? Now I can be sarcastic with you guys!"

[Ashley (;]

Elijah

"Glad to have a worthy opponent," I told her with a solemn nod.

Alexis Shay

I smirked at him, "Because you have to learn how to hug if you want any friends."

[Callie]

Dimitri

"It takes a lot of practice," I warned her.

Dice

I just laughed as we headed through the lunchroom, wondering vaguely where Adrian went, then silently cursing at myself for doing so.

Christian

I stared blankly at her. The only person I'd really ever considered a friend was Dice, and we hardly talked, let alone hugged. The entire concept seemed foreign to me, but I knew that in times like this, it was best to just agree, so I nodded. "Okay."

Renee

"Damn... but you guys make it look so easy!" I complained, frowning slightly.

[Callie]

Dimitri

"That's because we're experts."

[Ashley (;]

Alexis Shay

"Good," I told him with a smile, glancing at the silver watch on my wrist. "Shoot, we're going to be late for class."

[Louise]

Renee

I sighed. "Fine."

[Callie]

OOC: Eh, whatever. xD

Christian

"Have fun," I said simply, laying down on the wood floor. I had some sort of history class with the Moroi next, and history wasn't my strong suit, nor did I care about it.

Dice

I took a seat in the back of the room and rested my head against the wall.

Dimitri

"Doesn't mean you can't practice," I told her innocently.

Alexis Shay

"You're not going to class?" I asked with a weird look as I stood up.

Elijah

I glanced up as the Michael guy came in, taking a seat near us. "This class is utterly pointless," he muttered. "Why would we need to learn how to defend ourselves when we have Guardians?"

[Callie]

Dice

I narrowed my eyes, attempting to resist the urge to bitch at him. Wasn't working. "Maybe so we don't seem so ungrateful for them putting their lives on the line just to protect us? We're all people; it's not like we're superior."

Christian

I just shook my head.

[Louise]

Renee

I shrugged and waved my hand dismissively. "The current dialogue being thrown at me isn't exactly "sarcastic-provoking", y'know."

[Ashley (;]

Elijah

I nodded slightly, "She has a point."
He just rolled his eyes at both of us, opening up a textbook.

Alexis Shay

"Well, I guess I'll see you later," I told him with a slight wave, then headed down the stairs.

[Callie]

Dimitri

"Sorry about that," I said, sticking my tongue out at her. "You'll get your chance."

Dice

I opened my textbook, too, staring at the words but not really reading. Just thinking.

Christian

I waved back. "I'll be here, if you get bored," I called, cracking open another book about St. Vlad. Or maybe I'd just bore myself to death. That worked too.

Renee

"Sure, sure." I shook my head and sighed.

ooc: To be honest, I'm not used to Renee talking yet. O.o

I glanced up as Alexis Shay walked in, too, looking like she'd run the whole way here. She sat down next to Dice, staring blankly at her notebook like we didn't exist. What was up with everyone being so self absorbed today?
