After listening to their silence for awhile, I rolled my eyes and started to walk back toward the city. Wow...humans...on Mars. This was fascinating. Too bad there were no cute ones...not that Mother would allow me to marry an Earthling.

I held back a frustrated scream. "Come with me. Now." I muttered. "You can come home with me tonight until I figure out something." I paused. "Freaking bastard." I mumbled softly.

Something was bothering me. I kept turning to glance back at the group of humans. I knew soon enough they would be captured and probably killed by my parents...and I kind of didn't want that.

Personality: Mercedes is a pretty, well, relaxed girl. There isn't much that gets to her, and if she were on Earth, where there were drugs, people might think she's a stoner with the way her eyes usually aren't all the way open and sort of droopy and that lazy smile she has a tendency to give. But not with that smile that has broken hearts before - her full-out smile where her eyes light up and all her teeth are showing. That smile has gotten even Prince Daemon's heart to melt slightly. Mercedes wants nothing to do with him, though - she prefers his sister, who she knows won't try to make a move on her. Mercedes is a fairly easygoing person, and very laid-back. She rarely reacts badly, let alone overreacts. It takes a lot for her to actually get worried about anything, and when she does, that means you definitely should.

I yawned and pulled some clothes on. Apparently my body didn't feel like sleeping. So after I got some clothes on, I went out walking. "Keira?" I called when I got close enough to see her outline and long blonde hair.

"Oh. Hi Mercedes...how did you find me out here?" I asked curiously. Had she seen the rising smoke too, and followed it like I had? I shifted my body to try and block the group of humans behind me. I felt oddly protective of them now, even though they were disrespectful asses; maybe it was because I was so curious about them and their planet.

"I didn't," I said, rubbing my eyes. "I was walking, and then your hair like, reflected off the moon, so, obviously, I went to go see what the shiny was," I told her with my signature lazy smile.

I rolled my eyes. "Right. Okay."

"So who are the new people?" I asked, looking at them curiously.
Daemon smiled dazzlingly at me. "Not as beautiful as you."
I smiled sweetly back. "That's cute. But Daemon?"
"Yeah?"
"You need to quit hitting on me or I'll bury you six feet under. It's not gonna work, hun. I'm just not interested."

"Daemon, stop hitting on my bestie. It gets a bit gross." I grinned at Mercedes, and then shot a glance at the humans. "Promise you won't say anything to anybody?" I pleaded quietly with Mercedes.

OOC: He teleported away from Aislin and Kierlan to check on Keira and make sure she hadn't killed anyone yet.

I looked at the people, then at Keira, and my eyes got really wide. "They're totally illegal immigrants from Saturn, aren't they?" I said, but I was just joking around.

She almost hit it on the head, but not exactly. I shook my head. "Not...Saturn," I said carefully. "Earth."

I narrowed my eyes at the stuck up human girl. "You will be sleeping as far away from the city as possible. You are also not allowed to sleep in your ship. Anybody can come to investigate and find you in it and then you will be turned in to my parents and DIE. I am looking out for your best interests. I don't give a damn what your forte is, you will do as I say." I looked coldly at the boy. "Excuse me, that is extremely stereotypical. Why the hell would we want to eat you? Though the killing part...that is true."
