Secrets & Fire 3: The Fortunate

"Yeah, I like being a guy, with our simple hair."
Smokkey
"Uhm....sure." I said sitting down on the curb by him.

"Alright," I said, laying back on the concrete. "This place used to be my grandpa's place. He was an asshole, though. Mostly to my dad than any one of his other six kids. So Dad just quit visiting. Any of them. He just stopped. And apparently my grandpa took it upon himself to bully the rest of his kids, but one of my uncles got tired of it. Set fire to the place. He killed Grandpa and Grandma, and then got carted off to jail for it. Dad went to the funeral for his mom, and that was it. Then his siblings all moved away and we haven't really seen them since. I guess it's all for the better; they never really liked him much either. Dad got into all sorts of trouble, said things before he thought about them, and he was a bit of a, uh... manwhore." I smirked a bit, looking at the sky.

Zephyr

"Yeah, yeah," I said and rolled my eyes at him, then smiled. "I'll come to your house, then? What time you think the movie'll start?"

Alyssa

I returned his grin and started dancing with Harmony, "It does."

Georgia

"Don't say thank you," I said quickly to Dennis as he opened his mouth. "When someone says "good luck" you never say thank you. Then you get bad luck." I shrugged like it was obvious.
Dennis laughed. "Alright... not thank you, Tegan!"

Smokkey
"Wow. Violent history.." I smirked at the manwhore thing. "I can understand that, after all he went through."
Emerson
I shrugged. "Dunno. 5-ish, maybe?"

[Callie]

Vincent

"Really?" I asked. "I can't. Not really."

Zephyr

"Alright, I'll be there at five," I said, nodding.

Tegan

I laughed. "Well, you're not welcome."
Demetri smirked at Georgia. "You're as bad as the rest of them," he said teasingly.

Isaiah

I laughed. "I'm honored," I announced as her boyfriend got up and walked off, dumping his tray, then went to go sit with someone else.
"Now we can party," Jay said under his breath, smirking slightly.

[Emmy]

Smokkey
"Well, being a manwhore is not a good thing. At all. But after all that stress and hurt? I can. Look at me, for example. I have no f-ing reason to be all antisocial and depressed, but I am. So, he had a sort-of reason to be what he was--as crappy as his old self may have been."
Emerson
"It's a date! Well...not a date..." I said blushing a little. "You know what I mean."

Alyssa

I smirked when Tristan walked off. It wasn't that I wasn't... loyal or whatever. I mean... I could if I wanted to be. There just wasn't a reason to stick with Tristan when he probably didn't do the same.

Blaze

"We are in need of a lead singer," I told Harmony.

[Callie]

"Well..." I said and shrugged. "Okay, then. You sort of have a reason to be depressed, too. I mean, I wouldn't like being able to control people like little puppets with my eyes, either." I laughed a bit.

Zephyr

"I know what you mean, Deveraux. Don't flatter yourself," I said with a grin, though I blushed a bit as well.

Harmony

"Do you, now?" I grinned. "Hmm... well, if you'll let me, I'll audition. I've always wanted to be in a band," I told him seriously, nodding and pulling Jay off the bench, who returned the favor by poking me in the side.

Blaze

"Sounds great. We have practice... Either tonight or tomorrow. I'm not completely sure..."

ooc: Umm... is Tristan replacing Carter? Or do I need to make another guy? xD

OOC: I dunno. >.> You should make another guy. I'm terrible with making ebil manwhores that I'm going to keep using.

Harmony

"Well, I'll be home. Probably. Just stop by or whatever," I told him. "Aaaaand... now!" I exclaimed as the bell for next period rang. Music class.

"Well, to normal humans, I don't have a reason." I corrected myself smiling a little. "I think that right there was the most I've talked to someone in a while..."
Emerson
"Aw, I'm not that bad." I said pouting a little, fakely, of course. "Would you only go on a date with me if you had to?"

I gasped dramatically. "Am not."

Dennis

"I'm slightly confused. But alright," I said and took another mouthful of my burger. I chewed with my mouth open to gross out Tegan.

"It depends," I answered, smirking at him as I got up and headed for the door of the cafeteria. I had to get to Spanish.

Vincent

"It's because I have magical powers too," I told her seriously, nodding.

Demetri

"Are too," I argued, sticking my tongue out at her.

Tegan

I nudged Dennis in the side. "Haven't you learned by now that almost nothing grosses me out? I live with my mom here. And Demetri, of course. And Dad. They're pretty bad."

"Aw, you suck," I muttered leaving my tray at the table, as a result of my laziness.
Smokkey
I smirked at that. "My family's magical beings. Well, my dad and sister. And I don't talk to them much."

[Callie]

Vincent

"Why not?" I asked, though I couldn't really criticize; I didn't talk to my family much either.

Zephyr

"What, did you wanna go on a date?" I asked him with a smirk as I waited by the door.

"You don't know me," I pointed out with a sly smile.

Dennis

"It's worth a shot," I said before finally swallowing my food.

I shrugged. "I don't know. I guess I don't have much to talk about."

"What if I did?"

Blaze

"Best class of the day," I commented. Alyssa looked confused still. "You forgot your class schedule again?"
"Yeah... I don't forget it every time..."

"Well," I said and got up, "get ready for a cheesy line, because I have chemistry, and I think it's with you," I told Alyssa with a grin.
"That was horrible," Harmony commented, smirking.
"I told you it'd be cheesy."

Zephyr

"Well, I guess you should ask whoever you wanna go on a date with on one, then," I told him, rolling my eyes. "Duh."

Vincent

"Do they know about your powers?" I asked her curiously.

Demetri

"Well, that's not my fault, is it?" I retorted, smirking.

Tegan

I laughed. "And I admire your efforts," I told him teasingly.

Dennis

"I'll manage to gross you out before we die, that is my vow."

Georgia

I smirked. "Well, it's not my fault either. I didn't know you existed until a few minutes ago."

"Yeah. Well, my sister just found out this morning, but yeah they all know." As if on cue, my cell phone started to ring. I took it out of my pocket and groaned. "Daaaaaad."
Emerson
"You're the only one I want to go on a date with," I said grinning, and I kissed her on the cheek really fast before bolting off to class before she could slap me.

"So we're in agreement that it's Tegan's fault?"

Tegan

I laughed. "Good luck with that."

Vincent

I looked down at the ground as she got a phone call, apparently from her dad.

OOC: *has no idea if I'm supposed to be Drew or not, since I have no idea why he's calling*

Zephyr

I blinked, then put a hand on my cheek and made a face. Well, that was weird. I walked to class, then smirked at Emerson when I found him. "We both have Spanish, stupid," I reminded him. "And all you had to do was ask," I added quietly.

"Okay, so it's my fault that..."

Demetri

"That I haven't met Georgia before today," I supplied, nodding.

Georgia

I turned to Tegan. "I blame you," I told her with a nod.

Dennis

"Ooh," I said to Georgia. "I blame her too, though I have no reason why we're blaming her."

I mentally cursed myself for forgetting that one fact, then looked at her with just a smile. "You know I suck at that stuff."
ooc: Smokkey called him to say no need to worry earlier. And yeah, it'd be better if you did Drew
Smokkey
I debated on answering it or not, then figured if I didn't, Dad would go on a total rampage of the city, looking for me. Or something. I took the call and held it up to my ear. "Hello?" I asked hesitantly.

Drew

"No need to worry? Smokkey, where in the world are you?!" I exclaimed worriedly.

Zephyr

"You kissed me on the cheek, and that wasn't very nervous wreck-like of you," I pointed out with a grin.

I made a face. "I'm fine. And I didn't leave the city."
Emerson
"Yeah, I did, but I ran away after that."

[Callie]

Drew

"Well, you're supposed to be in school." I sighed. "I want you to go back right now."

Zephyr

I shrugged. "Doesn't matter. You still had the guts to actually do it," I reminded him, taking my seat in the back.

I rolled my eyes. "Dad, it's already the last class of the day. It'd kinda be pointless to do that, don't you think?"
Emerson
I followed her to the back and gave the kid that was sitting next to her a look. He moved and I took his seat. "Didja like it?" I asked with a grin.

Drew

I made a face. "Fine. But you're going to have to tell your mother. Just stay out of trouble, okay?"

Zephyr

I smirked a bit and looked at my desk; someone had carved a hard-to-read message into it. "Maybe."
