I ran across the street and opened up the door. "Honey, I'm home!" I yelled randomly while waiting for Harmony.

I laughed and ran after Alyssa just in time to hear my mom say, "Welcome home, Alyssa!"
"Not even gonna welcome your other daughter?" I called to her. She stood in the doorway of the kitchen and smirked a bit at me, shaking her head.
"I don't like strangers in my house. You should get out before I set my towel on you," she told me, snapping it at me playfully.
I laughed and headed back into my room. "I'm gonna stay at Lyssa's, kay, Mom?" I shouted so she could hear me.
"Okay!" she yelled back. I grabbed some clothes and my songbook, then ran into the bathroom, got my toothbrush and walked back into my room, shoving it alll into a bag and grabbing a pillow.

"But you wouldn't," I told her with a grin. "I know about you sleeping in the same rooms as boys," I said, nodding seriously. Not because I'd read her mind, but because we were best friends, so, naturally, I knew about Alyssa's first time, and she knew about mine.

"Hey!" I shouted, running downstairs after her.
"Does she now?" I heard Mom say. I looked at her innocently and elbowed Alyssa in the side, because that was not cool.
"I do not!" I protested. "I don't even like him that way," I said. Lie.
Mom shrugged. "Whatever. Go for it. Just use protection. 'Coz if you don't... well, that's how you came along. And you're annoying," Mom told me, hugging me tightly. "Now go have fun, stranger. And get the fuck out of my house, while you're at it."

I walked off into the kitchen and speed dialed Crystelle with my cell phone. It took a few rings, but she finally picked up.
"Hello?" she asked through the blaring music.
"Elle? Where are you?"
"Who is this?"
"Lyssa, your sister," I said inbetween her gigglish laughter. She was either wasted or high.
"Oh, hey Lyss! What's u-" Some guy cut her off, "Crys, come on! Hang up the phone. You're no fun!"
"Alright, I have to go, Alyssa, bye!"
"Wait, who the hell is that guy?"
I could almost see her grinning through the phone, "I have no idea. But he's really hot. See you later!"
