I bit my lip, "So I just imagined being right next to Meghan? Because there's no way I wouldn't be crushed right now."

Smokkey
I tried to make an angry grunt but it probably came out pitiful. I didn't like this, not one bit.

[Callie]

Harmony

I shrugged. "I don't know. Maybe you suddenly decided to further your evaporation skills or something. I don't know how the hell you got out of the way, but I didn't see the guy. But you're right; you were right next to Meghan." I hugged her tightly. "And I really don't care how you got saved, but I'm glad you're okay. For the most part."
"What she said," Isaiah said with a weak smile.

Hayden

"You can regain your pride later and crack tons of sarcastic remarks, don't worry," I said, opening the door to the hospital when we reached it.

Blade
The receptionist looked up and you could see that she was freaked out. "PAssed out kid here? Could use a little help. I can't carry her forever." I said casually. She nodded and caught one of the ER nurses, who immediately went into action and got a strecher. "What happened?" she asked.

[Callie]

Hayden

"I don't know, she just... passed out. I think she's getting too stressed out at school or something," I said, running a hand through my hair and putting on a worried look.

Vincent

I had to resist laughter when the nurse looked like she actually believed Hayden. Those were some nice acting skills. I looked over and I knew I would've believed her from the look on her face if I didn't know the truth.

Blade
I laid Smokkey down on the strecher. "DId she hit her head hard when she fell?" The nurse asked, doing several tests on Smokkey. I shrugged. "I wasn't with them when it happened."

[Callie]

Vincent

I shook my head. "I caught her before she hit the ground."
"Aww!" Hayden cooed. I shot her a look, and she returned it with an innocent one.

[Emmy]

Blade
"Well, she should be fine with a little rest then. Don't let her exert herself anymore today, or it will be a problem." The nurse said matter-of factly.

[Ashley (;]

Alyssa

I hugged her back, not really believing any of this. "Thanks," I told Isaiah softly. "I guess I learned I can apparently step in front of a speeding bus whenever I want to."

[Callie]

Isaiah

"Even so, I don't think you should test it out," I said, then decided to speak up. "I saw him."

Hayden

I nodded. "We can do that... maybe," I added the last part under my breath.

[Emmy]

Blade
"You boys can probably take her by the arms and help her walk to the car," she said. "Have a good day." I took one of her arms and looked at the other guy expectantly.

My mouth dropped open as I looked at him. "You did? How?"

I took her other arm and helped him walk her to the door, which Hayden ran ahead and opened for us.

OOC: I keep imagining Hayden like super short. Like 4'7" or something. xDD

I shrugged. "I'm Spiderman," I said sarcastically.

Alyssa

I rolled my eyes at him, "Funny. Now can I hear the real story?"

Isaiah

"Right," I said, nodding. "I have super senses. I saw the guy push you out of the way and into the car. Hell, if I didn't know better... he was so fast, I'd think he was a vampire or something," I said, hiding the sarcastic note in my voice with difficulty and glancing over to Harmony for a split second.

Alyssa

"So... You're a Fortunate?" I asked quietly. "Or do you believe in the whole nine yards? Vampires, Werewolves, Psychics, the usual."

Blaze

I sat down next to my guitar case, glancing at the charm on the end. Meghan's name. It sort of hit me that the girl I asked to be my girlfriend died a long time ago. Sitting around waiting for her to change didn't do me anything. I took off the charm and left it on the floor.

Isaiah

"Sure, let's go with that," I said in response to the Fortunate thing. Then I arched an eyebrow at her. "What? I said if I didn't know better... you actually believe in that stuff?" I asked her. God, this was just too much fun.

[Ashley (;]

Alyssa

"So, you're like... what... Seven?" I asked slowly. That creeped me out a little too much for my own good. "If we're being honest, then yes. My dad, he used to hunt them for a living. Werewolves, mainly. Hell, even Blaze wants to do the same. I guess it runs in the family."

Blaze

I picked up the case and started walking back down the halls. Maybe I had to wait for the right person find me. Harmony had sort of appeared in my house...

Isaiah

I laughed. "Nah. I'm eleven," I told her, nodding seriously. I froze a bit when she said her dad used to hunt werewolves, but tried not to show it. Maybe he sucked. Maybe he was really good, but he'd stopped. "Do you wanna hunt werewolves?"

[Ashley (;]

Alyssa

"That's... not... slightly disturbing... And me? Not a chance. What about you?" I asked curiously.

[Callie]

Isaiah

"I think I'd be a shitty werewolf hunter. Since I don't believe in them and alll," I said with an amused smile. If she only knew how ironic this was.

Alyssa

I shrugged slightly, "Guess you're missing out. I know one of them. Related to him, actually. He's pretty fun, unless we caught for drinking underage or something. But that only happened once."

[Callie]

Isaiah

"Cousin of yours?" I guessed.

Harmony

"I'm loving the chat and everything, but I'm wondering what the game plan is. 'Coz I'm supposed to ride home with you, Lyss, but our chauffeur is nowhere to be seen," I said with a wry smile.

Alyssa

"Uncle, actually," I told him quickly before turning to Harmony. "Well, getting thrown against a car hurts more than you'd think. So I don't know if I want to go to band or not."
Blaze appeared from behind us, "Sorry, I forgot my guitar. And you should still go. You can come too, to just the first half even," he told Isaiah.

[Callie]

"Uncle. He sounds fun," I remarked with a smirk. "I'll come," I said, nodding at Blaze. Then I looked at Alyssa and grinned. "I'll make a fool of myself if you go to band practice and Blaze lets me borrow his guitar. I'll even sing."

Alyssa

I laughed slightly, "Alright, alright, I'll go."
"Good. Now let's get in the car so I can actually drive. Is Crystelle coming?" Blaze asked.
"No, she has a ride home with one of her friends, apparently."

Harmony

Isaiah grinned and got in the backseat. I joined him. "Move over," I said.
"Yes, ma'am," he said, smirking at me.

What are you going to say to Dad? And Mom? I asked Hayden mentally.

Hayden

I'll tell them you had a stress overload from homework and passed out in class, and that the school told me, so I said goodbye to my friends, but they followed me anyways. And now we're here. I'll make up some scene in my head that looks real so Dad can't tell I'm lying.

I nodded slightly. "I'll do that too," I said softly.

I looked at her. "Do what?" I asked, confused.
